Justin Harley is a residential real estate visionary with over 18 years’ experience in building and implementing flexible workspace software solutions to make portfolios operationally efficient. Harley joined Yardi in 2019 as Regional Director and has dedicated his time ensuring clients and software seekers are adopting the most appropriate tech solutions for their businesses.

Richard has been with Regus for 4 years leading their UK business. Prior to that he was the CEO of G4S, UK & Ireland where he was responsible for 50,000 employees and leading businesses with combined revenues of £1.7bn. Richard also sat on the group Executive Committee of G4S plc, a global business support services provider operating in over 125 countries.

Julian Sharpe is Principal Director at tp bennett. Early in his career his design work on the Fleet Street London HQ for Goldman Sachs set him on course to providing a specialised and innovative interior design service for corporate clients in London and overseas. Since then Julian has led many projects for large global clients and believes that a ‘people first’ approach always ensures the most successful outcome for all. He has spoken internationally on ‘workplace’ and has a particular interest on the emerging theme of supporting neurodiversity through design, to ensure that the greatest number of people thrive in their environments.

Hayley Holness is an Investment Director in Lendlease’s Investment & Capital Markets team in Europe and is responsible for transactions across various asset classes.. Hayley joined Lendlease in 2018 from Tishman Speyer’s acquisition team and her experience includes acquisitions, dispositions, development, asset management, and business strategy across the EMEA region.

Monica Bewak is Director of Sales for Convene’s first international location in London. She is responsible for the

sales strategy and growth in this new market. Monica has led teams at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in New

York, Paris and Beverly Hills and most recently spent seven years at Rosewood London growing the brand and

event sales efforts. A native of Southern California, Monica has been married to Simon, a South African, for four

years.

Fons van Dorst is Executive Managing Director UK at Edge.

Edge is the highly sustainable developer behind The Edge in Amsterdam - officially recognised as the greenest, smartest building in the world on completion.

Fons has been at Edge for a decade and has significant experience in all aspects of development - from acquisition, funding and structuring to leasing and sales. He is leading Edge's UK expansion and acquired its first site in Britain: Edge London Bridge.

Alex is a Customer Partnership Director at The Crown Estate, overseeing workplace leasing across the London and Regional businesses. He is responsible for developing our sector strategy, leveraging customer insights and ensuring our spaces are relevant for businesses, and their people, now and in the future.

Alex is passionate about building brilliant workplaces, and ensuring we get the fundamentals right; encouraging a hospitality mind-set in our teams, delivering efficient services in and around the office, and ensuring our places are accessible for all.

Alex has held a number of roles across the London portfolio at The Crown Estate, and was previously Senior Asset Manager at Fabrix Capital.

Laura joined Mayfair Capital as an Asset Manager in June 2015, became Assistant Fund Manager in January 2018 and in April 2022, was promoted to Fund Manager. Laura is primarily responsible for investment activities and asset management initiatives of Mayfair Capital Property Unit Trust.

Prior to this Laura spent nearly four years at Lambert Smith Hampton, the final two years of which was within the Capital Markets team, chiefly focussing on South East offices.

James Palmer has spent the last 30 years making machines talk to machines, mostly in the world of Building Management. From rolling out large scale remote monitoring and integration solutions for the world’s biggest telecoms and banking companies to controlling schools and luxury homes, James has experience in buildings of all shapes and sizes.

Today, as Head of BMS at Metrikus, he uses that expertise to help bring IoT and cloud computing technology to bear on buildings by integrating the IoT with traditional BMS.

Michael Grant is the co-founder and COO of Metrikus. Michael is an operations, strategy and management professional with over 20 years in the technology sector. Specializing in technology, software, IoT, ESG and cloud, Michael has over 10 years’ experience working at Senior Management and C-Level and has dealt with large teams to deliver solutions with exceptional service – clients include those from banking, commercial real estate and IT sectors.

Jules Needleman is a transactional partner in CMS’ Real Estate team. His practice focuses primarily on HQ lettings, investments and development.

Jules was named in the Legal 500 2022 rankings as a Leading Individual, being described as a “standout practitioner in the corporate occupier field”.

His recent transactions involve advising TikTok, Skyscanner and Snapchat on their London office requirements.

Laura leads a team of asset managers, based in the London office, with c £2bn of office assets to

manage across the UK, on behalf of international clients. She was appointed Client Experience Lead for

EMEA offices in 2022. Defining the role as the first incumbent, Laura is building and developing a team

to deliver excellent service to both clients and occupiers.

With 18 years’ experience, of which 16 years have been with CBRE IM, Laura has held a number of

investment management and leadership roles within the business.

Laura is passionate about cities, having lived in New York and now London, and developing places within

them for people to thrive. She has led repositioning projects such as Angel Central (a retail destination in

Islington), 10 Brindley Place (the largest office refurbishment in Birmingham to complete in 2022) and

Atlantic House (a City of London office refurbishment). Wellbeing, creativity, technology, adaptability and

long term sustainability are at the heart of her projects.

As a mother of two young children, Laura has always been a strong advocate of diversity, equity and

inclusion and has led a wellbeing and mental health working group at CBRE IM, which is all part of a

wider initiative to provide a more inclusive environment for the team to work, learn and grow.

Richard Hart is Head of Property Management at Workman, the largest independent commercial property management and building consultancy firm in the UK, with a managed portfolio comprising more than 4,000 properties, and an annual rent roll in excess of £1.8bn.

Having joined the firm through its renowned Graduate Scheme in 2007, Richard was invited to become a Partner in 2014. Today, he is responsible for the delivery of the property management service on behalf of both UK and European property funds, private clients, and investors including: LGIM Real Assets, CBRE Investment Management, CapitaLand and Segro.

Richard works closely with clients to help maximise asset performance and value through a robust management strategy, with both ESG and customer experience at its core. In order to meet the needs of modern occupiers, Richard strives to ensure that all properties in the Workman-managed portfolio offer stimulating, healthy environments that support occupiers’ physical, mental, and social wellbeing in an environmentally responsible way, while creating a sense of place and togetherness within the local community.

Harvin joined CBRE on their four year Apprenticeship Scheme after his A Levels in 2015, qualifying in November 2019. Whilst on the scheme he gained experience in a variety of service lines before rotating into the West End office occupier team where he has remained since 2018. Harvin was previously Chair of the BPF Futures advisory board and supported in the network’s launch in 2017 and was nominated as one of Property Week’s RESI Trailblazers in 2018. Today he acts on behalf of a variety of occupiers looking to acquire office space in the West End.

Laurence is Trilogy’s Head of Asset Management & Leasing. His principal responsibilities include the identification and implementation of all property related business plans and value-add initiatives, as well as the management of agents and outsourced advisors.

Laurence has an MA in Property Valuation and Law, holds the IMC qualification and is a member of the RICS.

Ben joined General Projects in 2020 with over ten years’ experience in major commercial regeneration schemes. He is currently leading large-scale workspace projects including the repurposing of the former Woolworths HQ on Marylebone Road, the refurbishment and reimagination of the Heal’s building in London, and the development of a 200,000-sq-ft city centre campus for creative businesses in Manchester. He is skilled in navigating the complexities around repurposing complicated assets into purposeful, sustainable workplace which prioritise user experience. With a postgraduate Diploma in Architecture from UCL, Ben is also passionate about design, brand and creating genuine and authentic spaces.

Tia van Beek studied Law at the University of Leiden and Libera Università International Degli Studi Sociali in Rome, with a major in International and European Law. During my law studies I acquired also a Propaedeutic in Architecture and construction at the Technical University Delft. For a short period, I was a Trainee at law firm Studio Associati in Rome. Back in the Netherlands in 1994 I started as an Agent at DTZ Zadelhoff in The Hague. In 2001 I became responsible for the rental of developments at the Dutch National Railway in the regions The Hague and Amsterdam. I continued my career as Consultant at Shell Real Estate in 2004. After four years I was hired by Uni Invest (currently Merin) and became Asset Manager for the portfolio consisting of approximately 200 office and light industrial/logistics. In 2013 I became Director Equity Funds of Antea Real Estate Management until Goodman approached me to become Country Manager Netherlands in 2013. Five years later Internos, now Principal, hired me as Director Transactions responsible for investments and managing the Dutch office in Amsterdam.

During his ten years at Evans Randall Investors, James Edwards has undertaken investment and development transactions across a broad range of sub sectors including offices, mixed use, retail and alternatives.

James is heavily involved in ongoing portfolio strategy and management, including conception and implementation of value-add initiatives across the firm’s portfolio. Key transactions have included the acquisition and development of Bureau; 90 Fetter Lane, Watford Retail Park and Sovereign House.

Over her 35 year career, Despina has advised some of the world’s biggest companies, including Google, Unilever, BP, GSK, Morgan Stanley and Microsoft, on how to best achieve tangible business outcomes through their workplaces. She has also been instrumental in developing the vision to future proof major commercial developments around the world, most recently London’s TwentyTwo, the progressive 1.3m sq ft office development currently under construction in the City of London and Europe’s first major WELL certified new-build project. Despina regularly lectures, writes and contributes to research on the future of the workplace.

Yohance joined Quadrant’s office team in 2020 to help deliver c.500,000 sq. ft of offices in London. Key projects include 30 South Colonnade and Plot A Nine Elms.

Yohance studied and worked in architecture on commercial projects in the UK and luxury residential abroad before joining CBRE in 2014. Yohance spent a year in investment valuations before joining CBRE’s Capital Advisors. There he was a non-discretionary advisor working debt and equity investment strategies focusing on development. This included fund structuring, investment management, strategic development management, asset repositioning and development finance.

Outside of his professional role Yohance is an honorary lecturer at UCL’s Bartlett School of Planning and a visiting research fellow in the economics department of Goldsmiths University. He also holds academic and committee roles at The ULI, RICS and UCEM. In November 2020 he was recognised by the British Council for Offices as a Rising Star in the industry.

Bradley is the CEO at CO—RE specialising in London occupiers and their design requirements, scheme branding and leasing. Bradley has worked in the central London office market for over 30 years. He was made an equity partner at Knight Frank in 1999, and founded and headed the central London tenant representation team.

He has an intimate knowledge of what occupiers need, having advised major organisations on some of London’s largest office deals, including Estée Lauder’s HQ at 1 Fitzroy Place, Swiss Re's acquisition of The Gherkin, Guardian Media Group’s headquarters at King’s Cross and M&G’s offices at 10 Fenchurch Avenue.

Bradley was voted ‘Dealmaker of the Year’ in 2014 by the readers of CoStar.

Alex is a Senior Development Manager at CO—RE, with experience in all stages of the development cycle, most prominently in the planning, refurbishment and leasing of prime commercial property. The CO—RE team are central London development experts that have advised on over 12.5 million sq ft with an investment value of over £10bn. Current projects include the major redevelopments of the former ITV Studios on South Bank, Lansdowne House on Berkeley Square, The Fitzrovia on Tottenham Court Road and 20 Ropemaker near Moorgate.

Amy Hockley is a Head of Innovation Leasing at British Land with responsibility for workspace leasing across our 7.5m Central London portfolio; including the 53 acre Canada Water masterplan and more recently Innovation Campuses.

Amy has been in this role since 2016, having previously worked as a Director in the Tenant Advisory Team at CBRE, advising occupiers on leasing strategies and transaction in Central London. The experience gained in working with occupiers has motivated Amy to focus on a collaborative approach between occupier and landlord; delivering building design with the end user at the core of decisions and flexible solutions to real estate needs that respond to business drivers. Amy has a strong interest in workplace design and customer experience.

With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Sascha founded W.RE in 2013 with a clear focus on value added real estate investment opportunities to drive strong social, environmental, and financial outcomes. W.RE is behind the redevelopment of Clapham Junction’s historic department store, Arding & Hobbs, bringing a local landmark back to life through a sensitive restoration and creation of new retail, leisure, and office space on Clapham High Street. The company is also behind the development of St Pancras Campus, transforming an underutilised industrial estate into over 200,000 sqft of mixed-use space, including light industrial and office workspace alongside private and affordable housing, in the heart of the Kings Cross Knowledge Quarter. Prior to establishing W.RE, Sascha was a partner at Stenham Property, a real estate PE fund where he managed value-added strategies with a volume in excess of £1.5bn across Germany, USA, Switzerland and the UK.

Frankie is an architect, director of projects and innovation, and co-founder at Studio Pringle Architects. She specialises in workplace design.

After studying at the Bartlett School of Architecture she went on to work in workplace design (fit out and base build) at Pringle Brandon Architects and Perkins Will Architects.

Following this she led a team at WeWork Ltb to deliver 10s of office fit out projects.

During the COVID 19 pandemic she worked for the Department of Work and Pensions overseeing the design of 228 workplaces as part of the government’s response to the pandemic.

She is particularly interested in post COVID ways of working and how to design to encourage collaboration, community and placemaking.

The pandemic, technology and hybrid working have introduced new types of competition to the office. Offices are no longer competing against other offices, but also people’s homes with the introduction of working from home.

Her practice at Studio Pringle post COVID has focused on providing in the office what the home does not, which is different for all.

Her work has included a wide range of working, collaboration, and socialising environments from libraries to speak easies to reactivate office buildings and the spaces around them.

Laura is passionate about driving forward complex mixed-use sustainable developments and regeneration projects with a consistent emphasis on community-led strategies and creating high-quality public realm. With over 20 years international experience in the industry, she previously worked as an architect and urban designer before joining a Hong Kong based property developer in 2018.

Since joining G&T’s project management team in London earlier this year, Laura is using the breadth of her varied experience to lead on the delivery of high-profile workplace and media projects across the capital.

Cate joined Ethical Property in 2015 as head of finance and was promoted to finance director in 2019. Cate is responsible for the financial aspects of the company, and communication of performance with stakeholders such as shareholders, lenders, tenants, employees, and the board. Ethical Property reports on financial, social, and environmental impact, this triple bottom line approach is at the heart of the business.

Cate qualified as a chartered management accountant in 2004 and has a degree in Sustainable Performance Management.

Conrad was appointed as Managing Director in January 2019, having joined Ethical Property in December 2009 as Director of Development. He previously worked for one of our tenants, as Managing Director of Bristol East Side Traders, an innovative, Bristol-based regeneration company. Conrad sits on our Property Investment Committee.

Helen Causer is Office and Investment Lead for King’s Cross. Helen is responsible for asset management, leasing and performance of the office portfolio at the landmark King’s Cross redevelopment.

Since joining Argent, Helen has secured some of London’s largest commercial office deals of the last decade, including Google, DeepMinds, Facebook, Sony Music, Nike and Universal Music, totalling over 2 million sq ft.

Helen is passionate about building strong and collaborative relationships with occupiers, working in partnership to understand and respond to business drivers. Basil is managing partner of FORE, a pan-European social impact real estate investor and

developer set up by Jeff Skoll, the billionaire co-founder of Ebay, to invest in property and

drive positive social and environmental impacts.

Luka has 15 years of diverse experience in the real estate sector, having led the delivery of over £1bn GDV of flagship projects in London. Prior to Art-Invest, Luka was Project Director at Argent where he oversaw the development of two plots within the King’s Cross masterplan; before joining Argent, Luka was a Project Director at LendlLease, responsible for delivering the detailed planning permission for the second phase of the Elephant and Castle masterplan.

Christian Stocker is the Acquisitions Director of JTRE London. Originally trained in architecture, especially on Central London residential developments, he completed a Masters degree to become a Chartered Surveyor as part of a move into development and acquisitions. In 2014, he co-founded Sons & Co that was acquired by JTRE in 2020, when he joined the Board of JTRE London.

James Goldsmith is Head of Leasing at AXA IM - Real Assets. He has worked on some of

He currently leads Native Land’s £2bn landmark Bankside Yard’s project and 105 Judd Street, King’s Cross. Before this he led planning and joint venture aspects of Burlington Gate, Mayfair. He has also spent significant time in the Asia Pacific region building and maintaining Native Land’s Joint Venture relationships.

Jay holds a MA (Oxon) in History & Economics from the University of Oxford and a MSc in Real Estate Investment & Finance from the University of Reading and is a Chartered Surveyor. His primary focus is central London and the South East and his clients range from FTSE 100 companies, to international conglomerates and High Net Worth Individuals.

A former competitive runner - he has completed nine London Marathons - Richard now dedicates his leisure hours to sailing, both cruising and competitively, where he is often the navigator. He has raced in the RORC Caribbean 600, as well as numerous inshore and offshore races and a number of RORC Fastnets.

After reading law at Cambridge, Julian pursued a legal career in the private wealth field. He became a partner at a firm in Mayfair and developed a practice which encompassed everything from old money and landed estates to families with entrepreneurial wealth and real estate interests of every kind. Later, a career change took him to the wealth management business of Royal Bank of Canada. There he became Head of Business Development for the UK and Channel Islands businesses, with a particular focus on the use of trusts and similar structures to hold real estate and other assets for HNW international families. Returning to the legal world in 2019, Julian joined Druces LLP as Head of Business Development where he now works closely with Druces’ commercial real estate team. He is an experienced speaker and writer.
