William is a Board Director and a member of the Investment Committee. He has been instrumental in building the business and his primary responsibilities include the sourcing of finance, and management of Long Harbour funds and strategy. He is also actively involved in the origination and execution of transactions undertaken by the business.

William spent 6 years with Consensus Business Group and was appointed Director in 2007. From 2003 to 2009, William administered the acquisition, financing and management of over £2 billion of assets with finance from a diverse range of sources, including but not limited to senior bank debt, rated bank conduit structures, hedge funds and publicly listed AAA securitisations.

Duncan is the Group Regeneration Director and has been key in developing the overall Partnership model, working with local government partners, and has been at the forefront in setting up the successful partnerships currently on the company’s books, such as in Solihull, Salford, and Liverpool. Duncan works closely with the government promoting this innovative approach to achieving regeneration. Duncan is also a Non-Executive Director of Scottish Canals and has recently been appointed in a similar capacity by the Secretary of State for Transport to the board of HS2 Ltd, the new high speed railway to be built between London and the north.

Mike originally joined Muse Developments in 2004, and since 2009 has been regional director covering the South of the UK. During that time, Mike has worked to build a portfolio in excess of £1bn GDV, including major schemes in London zones two to four that will deliver over 4,000 new homes. Outside of London, Mike has oversight on a range of major residential-led mixed-use developments including Bristol and Plymouth. Muse develops schemes in partnership with both public and private-sector landowners across the UK, with the Build to Rent sector becoming an important element of the company’s activities over recent years. Prior to Muse, Mike spent time at Chelsfield plc and St Modwen, gaining a wealth of experience delivering large-scale, mixed-use regeneration schemes.

Susan is the Asset Manager for the M&G BTR portfolio which comprises of 1,000 operational units and 2,000 in the pipeline. Before joining M&G, Susan worked at PLATFORM _, an investor, developer and operator of over 800+ BTR units. Susan helped launch the brand as well as market and manage the building post PC. Susan was also instrumental in securing the JV between Invesco and PLATFORM_. Before joining the property industry, Susan consultanted for Marc Jacobs in NYC and helped launch Victoria Secret’s retail expansion in Europe.

Martin King is Director of Business Development, Marketing & Communications at FirstPort, the UK’s largest residential property manager. Martin joined FirstPort in September 2016, having left CBRE Asset Services and Rating where he was Head of Business Development. With over 15 years at board level, Martin brings a wealth of experience in delivering sustained company growth and increased sales. Martin has a lead role in FirstPort’s Build to Rent business and is working closely with investors and developers on a number of schemes across the country.

Adam co-ordinates the JLL pan-European Living business and manages the day to day

operations of the JLL Living research team. The team provides UK market briefing papers and

thought leadership that supports the wider residential advisory and agency businesses. It

engages directly with Government to provide policy advice and with clients to provide

transactional support and strategic consultancy advice. Adam’s experience spans 15 years of

advisory with both public and private sector clients on residential development and investment

opportunities. He acts as company spokesperson for a wide range of housing market-related

issues and is regularly cited in national and international media, alongside a wide range of

industry speaking engagements. Adam joined JLL as Head of UK Residential Research in

January 2013 and has held similar roles at other property advisors in London and Toronto,

Canada. Education and Affiliations Adam holds an MSc Urban Regeneration from the Bartlett,

University College London, a BA Economics from Western University (London, Canada) and is

currently an EMBA candidate at London Business School. He is a member of the Society of

Property Researchers and the Urban Land Institute. Adam is a trustee of World Habitat and a

supporter of both Shelterbox, a disaster charity, and JLL’s homelessness charity partner, Crisis.

Alex joined Palmer Capital in 2003, initially charged with creating the fund management business within Palmer Capital. He set up and managed the Palmer Capital Development Fund, and its successor vehicle. He was promoted to chief executive in 2008. Prior to Palmer Capital, Alex served as an officer in the British Army before starting his financial career with Credit Lyonnais Securities in 1997. He has an MBA from the London Business School and is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is a Board Director and is a member of the Investment Committee.

Angela Russell

Angela Russell is a Senior Managing Director and a Greystar Executive Committee

Member, leading Greystar’s business operations in Europe. Based in Greystar’s London

office, she is responsible for overseeing the finance, tax, technology, and corporate

departments for both the multifamily and student platforms across the region. Angela

works with her team to ensure effective local execution in each of Greystar’s seven

European markets against the company’s global vision and framework. She also has led

the integration of acquisitions into Greystar and in 2022 led the corporate integration of

the £3.2bn Student Roost deal in the UK.

Angela has gained extensive experience in both private and listed property companies in the US and

Europe. Prior to joining Greystar in 2016, she was Group Financial Controller of listed REIT Primary Health

Properties Plc where she oversaw the finance function for their £1.5bn portfolio. She previously spent ten

years working in the real estate practice at PwC. Angela is a mentor for the CREW/LIRE and participates in

the CREFC Europe COO Forum and other industry panels.

Angela is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an

emphasis in accounting from California State University.

John German

Managing Director, Head of Living Investments, Europe

Invesco EMEA

John joined Invesco Real Estate (IRE) in April 2013 and is responsible for spearheading the expansion of the firm’s European residential expertise and investments in Europe.

With over 26 years’ experience in the industry, John spent 12 years at Grosvenor, where he was the head of residential strategy, and at Aberdeen Property Investors as director of residential fund management. In these roles, John has raised, invested and managed c.£200m in two residential funds on behalf of UK and European institutional investors. He also has experience with the student and serviced apartment sectors. John’s extensive experience covers transactions, developments, valuations as well as asset and property management.

John is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, has a BSc (hons) in Rural Land Management and is a member of the BPF and IPF.2017

Natalie is a Partner with a broad range of commercial property experience, specialising in development and property investment transactions for both the public and private sector. Natalie has particular expertise in relation to residential, PRS and student developments. Recent experience includes advising Grainger on a number of projects including the Yorkshire Post site in Leeds and their flagship scheme at Clippers Quay, acting for a developer on the acquisition and development of a 364 room student scheme in Swansea and the sale of 5 residential plots in Putney.
