Glenn Crocker is an experienced CEO, company founder, non-executive director and investor in the

life sciences sector. He was founding CEO of BioCity Group from mid-2003, becoming Chairman at

the start of 2019, when he also took on the role of Head of Life Sciences at the global real estate

advisers, JLL. In April 2021 BioCity was acquired by Trinity Investment Management and a new

company, We Are Pioneer Group Ltd (WAPG) was created, of which Glenn is a director and co-

owner. He has a DPhil in Immunology from Oxford University and qualified as a chartered

accountant with EY, working with biotech companies in Palo Alto, California and Cambridge, UK,

where he headed up the UK Biotech practice for EY.

Glenn runs the Ventures arm of BioCity Group (now WAPG) and has co-founded, invested in and

exited many successful life science companies.

He is a non-executive director of BDD, BioAscent Discovery, Alderley Park Ventures and the UK

Science Parks Association and a governor of Trent College.

In 2014 Glenn received an MBE for services to the biotechnology industry.

David Mackasey is a Senior Vice President at Eastdil Secured, a leading real estate advisor which combines conventional real estate brokerage with the corporate finance and capital markets expertise of an investment bank. David focuses on property and platform sales, joint venture recapitalisations and development fundings within the science and innovation sector and has worked on a number of high profile transactions across the UK and Europe including the recapitalisations of Arlington, Harwell Campus, Knowledge Factory (Pioneer Group) and MIND Milan.

Mr. Miller joined the firm in 2014 and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. As Head of the European Transactions group, he oversees sourcing and management of investments and relationships with operating partners. In addition, he is responsible for the development of the European Transactions team and investment strategies.

Prior to joining Harrison Street, Mr. Miller was a Vice President in the investments group at Equity International, a real estate private equity firm investing in operating companies in international emerging markets. While there, his responsibilities included origination, execution, and management of the firm’s investments, and he was actively involved with and served on the Board of Directors for various portfolio companies. Previously, he worked as an associate at Paul Capital Partners, where his role included due diligence, financial analysis, and transaction execution efforts for leveraged buyout and growth equity investments across a wide range of industries. Mr. Miller began his career as an investment banking analyst in Credit Suisse’s Global Energy group, where he worked on leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and financings in the energy sector.

Mr. Miller graduated with a BA from Vanderbilt University, majoring in mathematics and economics, and he earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in finance and economics.

Dr Sally Ann Forsyth OBE is CEO of Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst, a leading life science cluster, and NED of Life Science REIT, the first real estate investment trust focused on UK life science properties.

During her time at Stevenage, total private equity investment in biotechnology raised in Stevenage has grown to become comparable with that of the Cambridge, London and Oxford clusters.

Sally Ann has been responsible for the strategy, growth and development of four internationally recognised science parks including Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst, Harwell Oxford, Colworth Science Park and Norwich Research Park.

Key to this success has been the creation of vibrant ecosystems that generate outstanding clusters in the leading life science sectors in the UK.

She began her career with Unilever had lead responsibility for Strategic Alliances and was part of the founding team of Unilever Ventures. This gave her an understanding of the drivers for success of both large corporates and growing start-ups. She gained her property experience through Goodman International where she was Director of Science Parks responsible for the development and management of their UK portfolio.

She has a PhD in molecular biology from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified management accountant (CGMA).

Abby leads Oxford’s European office, retail and life sciences businesses,

which have a current AUM of >C$5bn and is accountable for these

businesses’ strategies, capital deployment / acquisitions, strategic asset

management, platform set up, strategic stakeholder relationships and total

returns.

Abby has 14 years of real estate experience across the USA and

Europe. Abby started at Oxford in 2011 and since joining has contributed

to the formulation and execution of Oxford’s investment and asset

management strategies across the UK, Paris and Berlin including developing and maintaining strategic relationships to build Oxford’s profile within these markets / sectors.

Abby sits on Oxford’s European Senior Management Team and is

also sponsoring global strategic initiatives related to its operational model, ESG and digitalization including

how Oxford can better harvest data across its portfolio and markets, all to help drive its performance.

Abby holds a BA magna cum laude in Business Administration from American University in Washington, DC and an MSc with Distinction in Real Estate Economics and Finance from the London School of Economics.

Rob Burborough is a partner at 3PM with over 25 years in the science and technology sector. He is a specialist in this sector, and has led projects from all science backgrounds. Rob has collaborated extensively with science park owners in the UK and USA (including Discovery Park, Sandwich; The Oxford Science Park, Oxford; Granta Park, Great Abington; Babraham Institute, Babraham; Biomed, Granta Park, Cambridge; Chesterford Research Park, Saffron Walden).

More recently, Rob has been engaged by several organisations to advise at a strategic business case and operational execution level for private companies in respect of the investment opportunities, governance and execution strategies, and ecosystem formation for investment and future growth potential. He has been engaged to act as strategic advisor in support of the operational execution of the growth plans of venture-capital-funded private companies in the pre-revenue commercial science sector as they move from a new-company to a mature business model.

Rob has been appointed as expert panel advisor to the ISCF (Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund), focusing on core innovation and energy-efficient buildings, and is considered an industry expert in the project, programme and portfolio management of complex science and technology projects throughout the UK and globally.

Rob continues to work very closely with the UK research councils (including UK Research and Innovation, Innovate UK and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council).

As Chief Executive Officer of Europe, based in London, Paul leads the expansion of Harrison Street’s European strategies and is responsible for overseeing and growing the Firm’s team of professionals across the UK and Europe. Prior to joining Harrison Street, Paul was most recently President and Chief Operating Officer at Round Hill Capital, a real estate investment and asset management firm with a global footprint. While at Round Hill Capital, he managed a business with a $8+ billion portfolio as well as a team of 260 people across 15 offices in 14 countries. He has overseen investment and development projects, regulatory approvals, complex refinancings and capital raises in multiple European locations across a wide array of real estate asset sectors including retail, commercial, residential and student housing. Prior to joining Round Hill, Paul served as a Partner at Aggmore Group, where he was responsible for raising and deploying over €500 million of new capital and developed JV partnerships with European operators in the residential and commercial real estate space. Earlier he served as Chief Operating Officer at North Bridge Capital Partners Ltd. he began his career at KPMG LLP as a senior manager in the transaction services department. Paul earned a BA in Accounting and Financial Analysis from Newcastle University. he is ACA qualified and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
