2013 founded what is now the 50% private sector shareholding in the Harwell Campus Partnership, to help UK Government accelerate growth – e.g. from a working population of 4,700 to ultimately 20,000+ people, to generate major GVA impact in the UK economy.

As Chief Executive Officer of Europe, based in London, Paul leads the expansion of Harrison Street’s European strategies and is responsible for overseeing and growing the Firm’s team of professionals across the UK and Europe. Prior to joining Harrison Street, Paul was most recently President and Chief Operating Officer at Round Hill Capital, a real estate investment and asset management firm with a global footprint. While at Round Hill Capital, he managed a business with a $8+ billion portfolio as well as a team of 260 people across 15 offices in 14 countries. He has overseen investment and development projects, regulatory approvals, complex refinancings and capital raises in multiple European locations across a wide array of real estate asset sectors including retail, commercial, residential and student housing. Prior to joining Round Hill, Paul served as a Partner at Aggmore Group, where he was responsible for raising and deploying over €500 million of new capital and developed JV partnerships with European operators in the residential and commercial real estate space. Earlier he served as Chief Operating Officer at North Bridge Capital Partners Ltd. he began his career at KPMG LLP as a senior manager in the transaction services department. Paul earned a BA in Accounting and Financial Analysis from Newcastle University. he is ACA qualified and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Douglass Cuff is the Vice President of Real Estate for IQHQ, Inc. He has over 20 years’ experience working in life science real estate sector. Prior to IQHQ, Mr. Cuff had various roles at BioMed Realty during his 14-year tenure. Initially, he was responsible for overseeing the entire 1.0 million sf Life Science real estate portfolio in Cambridge, MA. Eventually, Mr. Cuff moved onto overseeing the completion and operation of ‘The Center for Life Science | Boston’; which is an 18 story, first-class research facility which houses the various research groups of Children’s Hospital Boston, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Mr. Cuff then relocated to Cambridge, UK in 2012 with the acquisition of Granta Park. He expanded the initial U.K. portfolio by negotiating 2 pre-lets at Granta Park as well as closing a partnership with the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council at the Babraham Research Campus. Doug received a Master’s in Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Fordham University in New York City.

Glenn Crocker is an experienced CEO, company founder, non-executive director and investor in the

life sciences sector. He was founding CEO of BioCity Group from mid-2003, becoming Chairman at

the start of 2019, when he also took on the role of Head of Life Sciences at the global real estate

advisers, JLL. In April 2021 BioCity was acquired by Trinity Investment Management and a new

company, We Are Pioneer Group Ltd (WAPG) was created, of which Glenn is a director and co-

owner. He has a DPhil in Immunology from Oxford University and qualified as a chartered

accountant with EY, working with biotech companies in Palo Alto, California and Cambridge, UK,

where he headed up the UK Biotech practice for EY.

Glenn runs the Ventures arm of BioCity Group (now WAPG) and has co-founded, invested in and

exited many successful life science companies.

He is a non-executive director of BDD, BioAscent Discovery, Alderley Park Ventures and the UK

Science Parks Association and a governor of Trent College.

In 2014 Glenn received an MBE for services to the biotechnology industry.

Dr Kath Mackay is Director of Life Sciences for Bruntwood SciTech - the UK’s leading property provider dedicated to driving the growth of the UK science and technology sector. She has a keen interest in growing the life science industry, and businesses and infrastructure within the sector, ensuring the UK is the best place to establish and scale a life science organisation.

As Director of Life Sciences, Kath is responsible for developing the life science vision and strategy for Bruntwood SciTech, external affairs, and developing sector specific innovation services and investment support for the life sciences business across our network of campuses. Kath also oversees Alderley Park - the UK’s largest single- site life science campus - the new £310m Birmingham Health Innovation Campus, and Citylabs in Manchester, the world-leading health innovation and precision medicine campus in partnership with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

Kath joined Bruntwood SciTech from the executive board of Innovate UK where she led the team responsible for growing and scaling businesses working in the biomedical, health, agriculture and food sectors, creating and delivering a £700m portfolio of infrastructure, Catapults, grant and loan investments. Kath is also Non-Executive Director of the Northern Health Science Alliance, the North of England’s health partnership, UKRI’s National Biofilms Innovation Centre, and Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership.
