As the Global Head of Bloomberg’s Facilities Infrastructure worldwide, Dave Wildman leads the engineering teams managing the company’s mission critical power and cooling systems. Dave’s role involves supporting multiple teams worldwide to ensure system functionality, resiliency and redundancy across the Bloomberg offices, computer rooms and data centers – the data centers being at the hub of the worlds most trusted source of financial data, news and analytics to over 327,000 customers, in 192 locations globally, supporting 19,000 employees.

Dave joined Bloomberg in 1998 in London as a Network Engineer, executing network infrastructure projects across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In 2006, he joined the Facilities team focusing on infrastructure activities in that region. In 2008 he relocated to New York as a Project Manager to lead a major data center expansion project. Today he’s the Global Facilities Infrastructure Manager. His team leads all aspects of data center facilities design, construction and their subsequent operation, along with the mechanical and electrical infrastructures within the offices, and the activities of the Global Health & Safety team.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Dave worked at Dow Jones Telerate as a Data Network Engineer in their Operation Center in London. He began his career at British Telecom International as a Telecoms Engineer in their International Business Service Center.

Dave studied Telecommunications (Switching & Transmission Systems) in London, is a Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCDP) and a qualified Department of Environment Data Center Energy Practitioner (DOE-DCEP). He is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET) and a member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Dave is currently completing an Executive MBA at Cornell University in New York.

With over 25 years of experience in the data centre, technology and banking industries, building successful, high growth, profitable businesses with a reputation for quality, innovation and customer service, Neil joined VIRTUS Data Centres as CEO in April 2013. Since 2013, Neil has grown VIRTUS from one data centre of 3MW to now being the number one London data centre provider. VIRTUS now operates 11 of London’s leading facilities providing over 178MW of capacity. His leadership has transformed VIRTUS into one of the most innovative and fastest growing data centre providers in Europe with customers including leading global organisations in the financial services, technology, media and education sectors. He is responsible for overall leadership, growth and development of VIRTUS.

Previously, Neil worked across UK, Europe, Asia and the U.S for companies such as BNP Paribas, IBM and Fiserv and was previously with Savvis (a leading global supplier of cloud and data centre service and a division of CenturyLink Inc), for 6 years, where he was Managing Director of the EMEA Region and the global financial services sector. He holds an honours degree in Business Studies from the University of Westminster and is a graduate of the Henley Business School Advanced Management Programme.

Pete leads Yondr’s global development schedule. He identifies new markets, ensures speed and scale is achievable, drives design innovation and business transformation across geographies, as well as overseeing client success.

Pete has worked at every stage of the data center product lifecycle, starting off as an electrical engineer and commissioning expert, driving projects across the finish line. Before Yondr he was at Google, heading up their Global Infrastructure Programme. Responsible for site selection, colocation acquisition, hyperscale strategy and energy, he built contracting, vendor and professional services supply chain to deliver 1000s of MW of project pipeline and concurrently designed and managed multiple large scale data center projects.

Pete isn’t one for jargon. His straight-talking, no nonsense communication style, mixed with his vast experience, gives him the ability to clearly direct our teams and products on some of the largest hyperscale projects in the world.

Muhammad Khan joined Stephen George + Partners in 2020 as a Studio Director based in the London office.

Muhammad’s role focuses on SGP’s presence in the south east and London, maintaining and developing relationships with key clients and stakeholders and continuing to deliver the SGP commitment to quality design and practical delivery for our clients.

With experience of design across sectors including mission critical, industrial and logistics, commercial, aviation, retail, residential and healthcare, Muhammad is also responsible for developing new business, particularly in areas such as data centres and science and biomedical.

Muhammad has a particular interest in encouraging and supporting younger architects by mentoring them in collaboration with the Student RIBA Mentoring Scheme and London South Bank University. His aim is to create a knowledge sharing environment where each member of staff is treated as a valued individual rather than a cog in the machine.

With nearly a decade in the industry, Amy spent the early part of her career delivering data centre builds for industry leading clients such as Dell, IBM, Ericsson and Vodafone. She then joined AECOM in early 2014 to drive mission critical engineering across EMEA and APAC. Her unique insight drove AECOM to become an industry thought leader and partner of choice for many global corporations and smaller niche data center operators. Amy has now joined NTT as Director in the Hyperscale team to continue NTT’s successful relationships and delivery for many of the household names in the Data Centre industry.

Jeffrey Tapley joined Digital Realty in August 2013 and is currently the Joint Managing Director (MD) EMEA and Senior Vice President (SVP) Portfolio Management Group. In his Joint MD role, Jeff is responsible for working with the global senior management team to deliver a strategy and results for the EMEA region in all facets of the business.

A major focus of his responsibility within the global portfolio is working with the sales team on multi-regional transactions, as well as negotiating global agreements with major customers. Jeff is also a voting member of Digital Realty’s Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Digital Realty, he spent 18 years within the private equity real estate group at Fidelity Investments, followed by two years with Long Wharf Real Estate Partners. Jeff was a MD of both firms and was a principal in acquiring and structuring joint ventures in all forms of commercial real estate for the company-sponsored value-add investment vehicles.

Jeff holds an MBA in Finance from Bentley University, a BA in Business and Economics from Saint Anselm College, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Jeff has three adult children and enjoys watching them starting their own careers. In his spare time,

Jeff enjoys rooting on his hometown Boston sports teams, The Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots.

Tor Kristian Gyland is the Chief Executive Officer in Green Mountain and has been with the company since the start. Tor's first responsibility within the company was as COO but he took over as CEO in September 2017. Before this he was with Evry for 10 years as Operating Officer responsible for a large organization of technicians, working in IT related areas such as OS, Virtualization, Network, Storage and Midrange systems. Tor was the second employee in Green Mountain. He has been responsible for developing the technical infrastructure, and building Green Mountain into a major player in the data centre industry. Tor has more than 25 years of experience within data centres and IT operations and has been involved in several major IT and technical projects. He has a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with specialization in automation.

Kemal Hawa is a corporate partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Kemal represents many of the world’s largest private equity firms, infrastructure funds, real estate investors and lenders across a broad range of transactions in the digital infrastructure sector domestically and internationally, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, financing arrangements, joint ventures and development projects.

Kemal counsels clients in complex transactions across the digital infrastructure and telecommunications, media and technology industries. This includes many of the world’s largest data center operators, telecommunications carriers, tower companies, cloud providers, fiber providers, media companies, submarine cable operators, fintech companies, wireless and international carriers, internet service providers, satellite companies, equipment manufacturers and electric utilities.

In addition to M&A and financing transactions, Kemal represents companies in connection with the full spectrum of digital infrastructure transactions globally, including the negotiation of data center leases and colocation agreements, telecommunications master service agreements, licensing deals and other commercial transactions.

Kemal is a frequent author and speaker on digital infrastructure topics and has consistently been recognized as an industry leading attorney in the sector. In 2023, Kemal was named as one of Capacity Media’s “Power 100” – a list of the 100 most influential people in the digital infrastructure sector globally, and was voted “TMT M&A Lawyer of the Year” by an independent panel of judges organized by TMT Finance.

As chief operating officer of Vantage Europe and president of Vantage U.K., Justin Jenkins is responsible for overseeing operations, security, construction, IT and customer care across Vantage’s new and existing European campuses, as well as leading Vantage’s business in the U.K. Jenkins is an accomplished technology and operations leader with a wealth of experience in the IT and data center industries.

Prior to joining Vantage, Jenkins served as CEO of Next Generation Data (NGD), a company acquired by Vantage, where he played a key role in developing and operating the company’s largest data center campus in Europe. Before becoming CEO at NGD, Jenkins held several other senior roles at the company throughout the last decade, including COO, CTO and data center director.

Jenkins has also been part of several entrepreneurial technology businesses, including Sony Computer Entertainment, where he served in a variety of IT and infrastructure roles.
