Simon Wilkes is Head of Development at Legal & General Investment Management Real Assets with responsibility for overseeing development activity within the Real Assets portfolios.

Major projects include the award winning Central Saint Giles and 245 Hammersmith Road which was the pioneer project and co funder for the BCO Social Value Measurement research project.

Simon is also the Investment Manager for the English Cities Fund a regeneration joint venture company between Homes England, Muse Developments and L&G.

Katia is an architect and urban designer with twenty years’ experience working on a wide range of projects from large-scale masterplanning and regeneration schemes through to architecture and interior design.

In the UK, Katia’s work has focused on transformational mixed-use developments, including High Street Quarter and Cavalry Barracks in Hounslow, the Rochdale Riverside retail and leisure quarter near Manchester and the reimagining of Rackhams department store in Birmingham, as well as the regeneration of Luton and Camberley town centres. Katia has also been responsible for projects in Italy, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Turkey, Bahrain, UAE, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Thailand.

As a member of the architectural NGOs Article 25 (Development & Disaster Relief) and Architecture Sans Frontières UK, Katia has been involved in community and regeneration work overseas. She is currently collaborating with LSE Centre for Women, Peace and Security on a research project about Architecture and Peace: how design can address gender inequalities. She is actively involved in mentorship programmes within tp bennett and externally with RIBA and Westminster University.

As a Principal of CallisonRTKL (CRTKL/Arcadis), John leads the global architecture and design firm’s residential team across the United Kingdom, Europe and Middle East. Having shaped over 10,000+ BTR units across the UK, his commercial acumen and human centric design approach continues to shape the future of the sector. The strength of John and his team lies in the culmination of their specialist cross-sector expertise, which comes together to offer something more than just a building and instead sees them create places, brands, experiences and lifestyle choices.

John is also one of CRTKL’s collective of specialist architects who are driving new opportunities for mixed-use, blended and repurposed commercial assets. The group advises clients on the diversification of their portfolios and the repositioning of their assets into the lifestyle-led residential market.

An experienced urbanist and researcher, Kat has worked in London politics, planning, and policy for almost a decade. Her interests include urban economies, transport, and the relationship between technology and the built environment. Kat has authored a number of reports and articles on urban development in London and regularly appears as a commentator on urban affairs across a range of publications, media, and events.

Kat joined Lendlease in April 2019 as masterplan strategist for the 60 acre Euston over-site development. Her role focuses on developing the masterplan vision and ensuring both the plan and the project itself respond to trends and innovations in urban development, transport and technology.

Nick is a Partner at Gardiner & Theobald with over 15 years’ experience of real estate consulting. His particular expertise is in large-scale masterplaning and regeneration schemes within the London market, providing advice to developers, occupiers and investors.

Nick currently leads the strategic cost management on Brent Cross Town and Canada Water projects, including infrastructure, public realm, workspace, retail, leisure, culture, and residential alongside higher education and community uses.

As Managing Principal of 10 Design, Chris has over 25 years of international experience on major projects throughout Europe, Middle East, Asia and Americas. Having lived and worked overseas in New York, Istanbul and Dubai, he is now back in his home base, leading the UK studios in London and Edinburgh.

Chris has extensive experience in the design, delivery, and management of projects across all stages. His current role is principal client liaison for projects in Europe and the Middle East. He works closely with

the design leadership to establish project direction and interface with clients and multi-disciplinary consultants, ensuring projects proceed in accordance with clients’ goals.

His award-winning works span a diverse range, most recently demonstrated by New Town Quarters Regeneration in Edinburgh, Al Seef Mixed Use Development in Dubai, and a number of world-class assets in Saudi Arabia to name a few.

Chris Jones is passionate about architecture, cities and the environment, how we shape the world around us and how it shapes us. He regularly shares the practice’s work, research and experience as a public speaker, visiting critic and jury member at academic institutions, international conferences and

public meetings across the world.

Nick Chadwick has more than ten years of pan-European real estate and hospitality experience. Currently Nick is based in Starwood Capital’s London office where he asset manages a number of the firm’s major hotel investments. In this role, he has led the operational turn-around, redevelopment, rebranding, refinancing and disposition of a wide range of hotel real estate from independent single assets through to a large 4,000 key multi-branded portfolio.

Previously he worked in Starwood’s European acquisition team where he worked on over $1bn of hotel acquisitions. Prior to joining Starwood, Nick worked at Ernst & Young in the real estate audit department where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant

Nick holds a Bsc in Economics from the University of York and he is a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association European Chapter and currently serves as its Treasurer.

Lily is Head of Acquisitions - UK at Blue Coast Capital. Prior to that, Lily was Managing Director responsible for acquisitions and asset management across the UK and Ireland at MARK, and Managing Director at Vanke where she established its UK platform. Previously, she worked at UBS in London across various UK and Pan European real estate funds, and at Ascendas, Singapore’s first and largest industrial REIT, in Shanghai. Lily has a B.S. and B.A. from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Will is responsible for sourcing, analysis and execution of investments.

Prior to joining Crosstree at its inception in 2011, Will was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging Investment Banking Group, based in London. At BAML for five years, Will worked on a number of European debt and equity corporate financings, and mergers and acquisitions assignments on behalf of the firm’s global real estate clients.

Massy Larizadeh has over 30 years’ experience across the financial services sector, including in M&A, strategy and business development. She has spent the last sixteen years in the property sector in strategy, capital raising, financial advisory and product development roles in large and small firms, investment managers and in corporate finance advisory, with a pan European perspective. She has experience of working in the UK, France and the United States, and she has held senior management roles at GE Capital, GE Real Estate, Cushman & Wakefield Investors and Deloitte Real Estate. She also has three NED Board roles, with a focus on strategic advice, building businesses and governance that comes from Board responsibilities. Massy is a non-executive director at Orbit Group & Orbit Treasury, a large national Housing Association, and at London & Partners, the promotional agency for London tasked with bringing foreign direct investment, tourism, events and higher education into the London economy, funded by the Mayors office, she is also a Trustee for One Trust charity.
