Jonathan joined Stanhope in 2003 and leads the Property & Commercial aspects of the business, joining the Management team in 2017. He currently heads up a number of Stanhope’s major development projects.

Since joining Stanhope, Jonathan has acquired or secured a Development Management role on a number of central London office and mixed use development opportunities. In 2012, he led the acquisition of BBC Television Centre from the BBC for £200m, creating a 2.3m sq ft development opportunity. He is currently working on Television Centre Phase 2 (500 homes), Ruskin Square and a number of other projects.

Prior to joining Stanhope, Jonathan qualified as a Chartered Surveyor at Drivers Jonas and worked at Taylor Woodrow in their Central London Mixed use team.

Bradley is the CEO at CO—RE specialising in London occupiers and their design requirements, scheme branding and leasing. Bradley has worked in the central London office market for over 30 years. He was made an equity partner at Knight Frank in 1999, and founded and headed the central London tenant representation team.

He has an intimate knowledge of what occupiers need, having advised major organisations on some of London’s largest office deals, including Estée Lauder’s HQ at 1 Fitzroy Place, Swiss Re's acquisition of The Gherkin, Guardian Media Group’s headquarters at King’s Cross and M&G’s offices at 10 Fenchurch Avenue.

Bradley was voted ‘Dealmaker of the Year’ in 2014 by the readers of CoStar.

Makoto Fukui is an Investment Manager for Schroders Capital Real Estate, responsible for

investment mandates from global strategic partners, and the management of the firm’s Central

London portfolio. He joined Schroders in 2016 and is based in London.

Previously, Makoto was a Head of UK Investment for Mitsui Fudosan where he joined as a graduate

in 1996, and was involved in investments and developments in Japan, US, and Asia across all major

real estate sectors.

Makoto has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry,

He is also a member of Cambridge Land Economy Advisory Board.

Mark joined RSHP in 2011. He was made an Associate in 2016

and a Senior Associate in 2021.

He is currently the project architect for the redevelopment

of Hammersmith Town Hall in London which will provide new

civic offices, residential accommodation, a cinema, shops

and restaurants.

Mark also co-led the planning consent for two hotels on the

former Hammersmith & Fulham Magistrates Court site and

was the project lead for public realm improvements in the

Hammersmith Business Improvement District, (BID).

Prior to this, Mark was the senior architect for Thames Wharf

Redevelopment, where he gained planning approval for a

100,000 sq. ft mixed-use development of luxury apartments,

restaurants and offices.

He was also the senior architect for a masterplan project

in Chongqing, China where he delivered the phase 1 detail

design of the project for two residential towers.

In addition to his work in Hammersmith, Mark is currently

overseeing capacity on the delivery of a number of housing

projects, including modular units in Lewisham, London.

Rachel leads the Investment team in Grosvenor Britain & Ireland with responsibility for scaling our investment portfolio across the UK through direct investment and partnerships.

She oversees the management of existing projects including Grosvenor’s Strategic Land portfolio, Liverpool ONE and the Bermondsey development, as well as the new investment strategy.

Rachel joined Grosvenor from Legal & General where she was an Investment Director in the Future Cities business, leading the Urban Regeneration team. Here she was responsible for sourcing, structuring and investment management of real estate projects and partnerships including Cardiff Central Square, Newcastle Helix, Bruntwood SciTech and a joint venture with Oxford University.

Prior to that, Rachel held various asset and portfolio management positions across the UK and Europe at CBRE Investors and Tishman Speyer respectively.

Richard is responsible for the overall direction of property research within M&G Real Estate, including the analysis of the UK and global property markets, and the formation of in-house views and strategic recommendations for the funds under management. He also sits on the firm’s Property Investment Committee. Richard has 19 years’ property investment analysis and research experience; prior to joining M&G Real Estate in 2006, he spent three years at IPD (now MSCI). He sits on the Research Steering Group of the Investment Property Forum and is a former committee member and honorary treasurer of the Society of Property Researchers.

Dominic Smith joined CBRE Investment Management in 2021 to lead Credit Research in the

Insights & Intelligence team. He is responsible for articulating CBRE IM’s house view on

credit investment, and for developing the Credit Convictions Framework (CCF), a proprietary

tool designed to provide a clear way of measuring risks and opportunities within real estate

credit.

Dominic has 20 years experience in real estate and credit investment research, having

previously spent time as Strategy Director of the Real Estate Business Support Unit of Lloyds

Bank, and as Head of Research at Aviva Investors before joining CBRE where he was

initially focused on setting up the Debt Analytics service, before moving to the UK Research

Team.

Emma is responsible for leading M&G Real Estate’s research capabilities for the UK commercial and living markets. Her responsibilities include the formation of investment strategy for M&G Real Estate’s funds, in-house market views and bespoke research projects. Emma has worked in real estate research since 2003 and joined M&G Real Estate in 2011. Previously, she worked for Hearthstone Investments, a specialist residential fund manager, ING Real Estate Investment Management, and Cushman & Wakefield. Emma has a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Warwick, and also holds the Investment Management Certificate and the IPF Investment Education Programme Diploma. She currently sits on the Research Steering Group of the Investment Property Forum and the ULI Living Concepts Product Council.

Gavin is the CEO and Founder of fu3e, an enterprise SaaS platform transforming how developers, fund managers, consultants and capital-stack stakeholders manage workflows, data and reporting across real estate in real time. With over 35 years of experience in the built environment - including senior roles at Mace and Morgan Lovell - he founded fu3e to close the governance and reporting gap he witnessed first-hand across complex, large-scale development programmes. The platform is now trusted by leading institutional clients across the UK, Europe and US.

Julien has over 25 years' experience in all aspects of commercial property transactions including large city centre development projects, investment sales and acquisitions and portfolio financing. He has particular recognised expertise in forward funding and forward sale structures as well as development joint ventures.

Julien specialises in the Leisure sector, acting on the establishment of restaurants and clubs for Richard Caring's Caprice/Birley groups, Ivy Collections, Hakkasan, Burger King UK, Dynamo Restaurants and Yamabahce as well as numerous other restaurant, club and bar operators and breweries. He heads up Trowers & Hamlins' Hotels & Leisure Group.

Julien's principal clients also include US REIT Global Net Lease, BT plc (for whom he acted on the BT Sport television studio development at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and on the redevelopment of Rugby Radio Station), TR Property Unit Trust, M1 Real Estate, Marchmont Farms Limited, Alburn Investors and the Williams Group.

He recently acted for the US NYSE-quoted REIT, Global Net Lease on their high profile £170m purchase and leaseback of the 50-hectare McLaren Technology Centre campus near Woking, Surrey.

Ainslie oversees U.K. Balanced Funds and is fund manager of the Janus Henderson U.K. Property Strategy, alongside Marcus Langlands Pearse, for which Nuveen Real Estate is the investment sub-advisor.

Ainslie joined the business in 2002 and has gained extensive experience running commercial property mandates investing in U.K. and European markets. She began her career in 1996 working in the investment department at Ryden Property Consultants in Edinburgh, qualifying as a chartered surveyor in 1998. In 2001, she joined PJ Leggate & Co. where she was involved with acquiring and managing a portfolio of commercial property. In 2016, Ainslie was recognised by London publication, City A.M., as one of the city’s 100 most influential women. She was short-listed for Investment Week’s “Fund Manager of the Year” in 2017, Janus Henderson U.K. Property PAIF received the Portfolio Adviser Platinum Award in January 2018.

Ainslie graduated with a Bachelor’s of Land Economy, honours, from Aberdeen University and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Investment Property Forum. She holds the Investment Management Certificate and is FSA regulated.

Shamez Alibhai is Head of Community Housing and Portfolio Manager at Man Global Private Markets (‘Man GPM’) and is a member of Man Group’s Responsible Investment Committee. He is responsible for managing the Man GPM RI Community Housing Fund and leading the business, team and strategy.

Prior to joining Man GPM in January 2019, Shamez spent 12 years at Cheyne Capital, where he was a partner and portfolio manager of the UK’s first institutional affordable housing strategy. He previously co-ran the firm’s real estate debt business. He has also worked at Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for the mortgage loan trading platform, and at Barclays where he was a senior structurer.

Shamez holds Master’s degrees from Yale University and McGill University.

Kristina is the Head of ESG for Barings European Real Estate, a global real

estate platform with extensive capabilities across both debt and equity

strategies. She is responsible for the evolution of firm level real estate ESG

strategy, and alignment to the Barings Global sustainability policy. Kristina

leads net zero carbon, climate resilience and social value policies development

and implementation, which aid the delivery of Barings ESG ambition and

support Barings tenants and the value chain. She works alongside the Global Sustainability team and

serves on the European Investment Committee and the Barings Real Estate Global ESG Committee.

Jermaine is a co-founder of the Re:shape Living Group, an alternative living sector developer and operator in the UK. Jermaine is responsible for Joint Ventures, planning and development activities, product design and execution, and ESG. Jermaine has worked in Real Estate for over 15 years and is recognised as one of the UK’s leading alternative living experts, having co-designed and secured planning permission for 10 co-living buildings, PBSA and hotels worth more than £800 million GDV across London and Dublin since 2018. Jermaine is also the founder and chair of the Second-Generation Shared Living Consortium (SGSLC), an industry body which exists to progress shared living policy across the UK.

Patrick Williams is a partner in Fried Frank's European Real Estate Group, resident in London.

Mr. Williams has wide transactional experience on commercial real estate matters, including large scale mixed-use developments and pre-letting arrangements, joint venture agreements, complex real estate investment transactions and real estate finance.

He acts for a broad mix of clients, including property investment companies (including those on the FTSE100), global real estate fund managers, banks, infrastructure development and land promoter specialists, ultra high-net-worth individuals and family offices, and a range of Asian sovereign wealth funds and state-owned enterprises.

Prior to joining Fried Frank, Mr. Williams was a partner at a large international law firm.

The Founder and CEO of The Valesco Group is Mr. Shiraz Jiwa, who has a distinguished track record spanning 2 decades. Mr. Jiwa has successfully closed and managed over €5 billion of European commercial real estate investments, delivering strong target-exceeding returns to sovereigns, institutions and family offices. Prior to founding Valesco, Mr. Jiwa was managing director and head of real estate investments at AGC Equity Partners, a sovereign backed alternative asset investment firm. He closed and managed numerous European real estate investments across core/core+, complex restructuring, development and special situations during his tenure. Previously, Mr. Jiwa was a partner and portfolio manager at the Rainbow Global High Yield Fund. His areas of focus were special situations, real estate, distressed debt and derivatives. Mr. Jiwa directed investment strategy and executed transactions across the capital structure. Prior to this, Mr. Jiwa was at Morgan Stanley where his expertise was utilised to develop, analyse, structure and execute portfolio optimisation and yield enhancement strategies and solutions. Mr. Jiwa executed several significant capital markets as well as securities division transactions. Mr. Jiwa started his career as part of the credit derivatives structuring and trading team at Bear Stearns. Mr. Jiwa has developed an expertise across all major asset classes, notably in real estate, real estate private equity, complex restructurings and special situations. Mr. Jiwa received a B.Sc. Joint Honours in Mathematics with Management from Imperial College London.

Julia joined West End specialist property company Shaftesbury in 1997 and has led the F&B strategy and portfolio for over ten years. As the largest single owner of restaurants, cafés, bars and leisure space in central London, Shaftesbury is renowned for the curation and place-making of its iconic West End villages, which include Carnaby, Seven Dials and Chinatown, plus holdings in Soho, Fitzrovia and Theatreland.

With a long-term strategy of working with independent, experiential operators, the first sites of ground-breaking restaurant groups such as The Palomar, Dishoom, Flat Iron, Island Poke and Polpo are all within Shaftesbury’s portfolio. Many have taken subsequent Shaftesbury sites for new ideas and concepts as their businesses grow. Recent additions with similar potential include Sri Lankan operator, Kolamba, and Norma, former Saltyard co-founder Ben Tish’s Sicilian concept.

Oliver has over a decade of Central London property experience in commercial and residential investments and developments including leasing, investment and product development.

He joined Landsec from CBRE in 2014 to lead the leasing of a number of landmark office developments comprising over 1.5 million sq ft across the capital. Most notably he led the pre-let negotiations at 21 Moorfields, securing Deutsche Bank for over 500,000 sq ft in summer 2017.

Oliver has also worked as an Investment Director, where he focused on acquisition and disposal strategies as well as investment management of the existing Landsec portfolio.

Oliver was responsible for delivering Landsec’s flexible office brand, Myo, which launched in May 2019; as well as Landsec’s Customised product and services.

In his role as Head of Offices, Oliver leads the implementation of Landsec’s central London office strategy including the evolution of Landsec’s office products and managing key customer relationships.

Oliver is a member of the RICS, IPF and ULI. He holds an MSc in Real Estate and IPF Diploma from the University of Reading as well as a BA in Geography from the University of Nottingham.

Leanne has over 14 years’ experience working in the property sector. She has a BSc Degree from Sheffield Hallam University in Property Development and is a member of the RICS.

Leanne is currently Retail & Leisure Customer Partnership Director at The Crown Estate, working across the London and Regional Assets. Here she oversees all leasing activity as well identifying new markets income streams and leads on retail strategy.

Leanne has a real passion for creating engaging and vibrant places. She believes the future of retail is truly exciting, with a number of positive opportunities ahead, which she discusses in her the successful podcast series ‘Retail is Dead’, where she one of the co-creators.

Richard Le Sueur joined the IWBI team in March 2020, and from a base in London, is responsible for driving the market development activities of WELL Portfolio in the UK and wider EMEA region. This includes supporting leading investors, developers, facilities managers, HR professionals and industry partners with an interest in healthy buildings in their early explorations of WELL Portfolio, in addition to sharing insights on market engagement and project experiences through industry events and workshops.

Richard brings to IWBI an operational and business development background in commercial real estate (CRE). Over a 15-year career he has worked within three major asset classes across a diverse set of international and local markets for a variety of owners ranging from institutional pension funds and high net worth individuals to local government.

With demonstrable experience in complex project and stakeholder management, be it through shopping centre positioning or commercial placemaking on large-scale city developments, he has worked with multiple stakeholders to deliver complex CRE projects through smart and sustainable design.

With a passion for good leadership, having commissioned and served in the British Army for six years on multiple operations, he is focused on providing practical and inspiring spaces for people to work in with the requisite resources to enhance individual and team performance.

Richard has a bachelor’s degree in social studies from Newcastle University and a diploma in Commercial Real Estate from South Bank University

Ann Marie Aguilar joined the IWBI team in 2016, and from a base in London oversees the day-to-day activities of IWBI across the EMEA region. She supports the business development and technical teams and is the first point of contact for clients and design teams interested in all applications of WELL Certification.

Ann Marie’s role is to support “early adopters” of the WELL Building Standard, by facilitating communication with IWBI technical experts to provide international translation, alternative adherence pathways and alignment with local sustainability rating tools. Ann Marie’s expertise in environmental sustainability and well-being has helped deliver strategic adoption of WELL into the UK, Ireland, continental Europe and the Middle East with support from BRE, Green Building Councils and other local market partners. She is also responsible for implementing new directives for research, growth, recruitment and education.

She brings to IWBI a technical background in sustainability consulting, having worked for 11 years with Arup Associates, the architectural consulting arm of Arup in their London offices. Her 17 years of global project experience range in scale from campus size to small city developments and identify a clear sustainability vision, objectives and measurable targets. She has extensive experience in LEED Certification, material deconstruction and material reuse processes. Whilst there she developed Arup’s health and well-being consultancy offering across their global operations. Previously, Ann Marie led her own sustainability consulting business in New York City.

Among the first cohort of WELL APs, she now also provides education and support to industry as a WELL Faculty member.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture from the New York Institute of Technology and received Chartered Environmentalist status in 2012. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts, member of the Sustainability Futures Group at the RIBA and a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.

Stacy Eden is Head of Real Estate at RSM. He is an experienced audit partner and advises a wide variety of real estate clients. Stacy has significant experience of working with real estate companies and partnerships with assets up to £2bn, assisting clients on the commercial, transactions and taxation aspects of real estate.

Prior to joining RSM, Stacy led a property and construction team for over 10 years in his previous role. He is also an ICAEW fellow (FCA).

Stacy speaks at a variety of real estate seminars and conferences and writes regularly in the trade press. He also attends a number of key real estate events including MIPIM and is a member of the Variety Props lunch committee, a member of the British Property Federation technical accounting group and a member of the ICAEW real estate and construction advisory group.

Stacy has also been a founder and governor of a free school as well as assisted charities in helping vulnerable children.

Daniel Abrahams co-heads the real estate team at full service law firm Memery Crystal. A highly experienced property lawyer, Daniel specialises in all aspects of commercial property and has experience in a broad range of work including landlord and tenant, property acquisitions and disposals, development schemes, lettings and pre-lettings. Daniel has also acted in corporate and property finance transactions.

With over 30 years of experience Chris is a widely recognised, leading pioneer of innovative

customer experience solutions in an ever-changing market. Constantly championing the

customer, he has delivered transformation programmes for a range of global organisations.

Always putting the customer at the heart of the business, his visionary approach helps

organisations challenge their status quo and shape their future based on customer insight

and a deeper understanding of the value of customer experience.

Esra Fanoscu is currently a Managing Director in HSBC Bank,

responsible for all Corporate Services activities across Europe as

well as the bank’s Global Headquarters in Canary Wharf, London.

Before moving to London in July 2021, Esra was based in Dubai,

leading the Corporate Real Estate strategy for Middle East and

North Africa & Turkey. She headed up a diverse portfolio in the

region and played a key role in the transformation of the bank’s

portfolio, as well as driving workplace and colleague experience.

Prior to relocating to UAE, Esra was the Country Head of HSBC

Turkey and also spent 4 years with Vodafone. Here she led the property function and managed

one of their significant transformation programmes.

Esra has 30+ years of experience in Real Estate, particularly leading large scale end to end real

estate projects in multi- cultural environments. She is passionate about enhancing colleagues

experience at work through combining design, technology and best of class service.

Esra has a BSc in Architecture and is currently pursuing a Masters in Science in ‘Culinary

Innovation Management’. In her personal time, Esra is keen to give back to the community and

helps women from less advantaged backgrounds in East Anatolia, Turkey access support for

their personal development.

Jules advises investors and developers across the centre of London on building design and refurbishment, disposals and asset strategy. He offers insight and competitive advantage through his building-by-building market knowledge, detailed insight into current workplace strategies and a keen eye for design all combined with a comprehensive understanding of the Investor’s needs.

Jules’ clients include Barings, LBS, Appley, GMS Estates, Aviva, Oxford Properties, Clearbell and CBRE Investment Management.

He has been a British Council for Offices London & South East Awards judge and speaks regularly on Office design and the Central London market at architecture and research events.

Julian Sharpe is Principal Director at tp bennett. Early in his career his design work on the Fleet Street London HQ for Goldman Sachs set him on course to providing a specialised and innovative interior design service for corporate clients in London and overseas. Since then Julian has led many projects for large global clients and believes that a ‘people first’ approach always ensures the most successful outcome for all. He has spoken internationally on ‘workplace’ and has a particular interest on the emerging theme of supporting neurodiversity through design, to ensure that the greatest number of people thrive in their environments.
