In a career spanning 40 years, Paul has worked for some of the UK’s leading construction companies and built environment consultancies, and currently runs his own business providing advice to developers, contractors and investors in the property and construction sector.

As a Fellow and Past President of the Chartered Institute of Building, Paul has been actively engaged in raising awareness of key issues affecting the construction sector through reports such as ‘Understanding the Value of Professionals and Professional Bodies’ and ‘Productivity in Construction’ and regularly speaks at industry events. He was Chair of the CIOB's Construction Quality Commission that investigated the issue of quality in construction and currently chairs the CIOB's Quality Implementation Group.

In 2017, Paul chaired the working group on procurement as part of the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety led by Dame Judith Hackitt and is currently a Member of the Industry Safety Steering Group that was established to drive culture change in the industry in the wake of the Grenfell Tower fire.

He was recently appointed to the Building Advisory Committee that advises the Building Safety Regulator on the safety and standards of buildings.

Arianna is a Project Director working on British Land’s 53-acre, Canada Water regeneration project. Prior to that Arianna worked as a development lead on landmark super prime residential scheme Clarges Mayfair and she was involved in the completion and launch of another British Land prime residential scheme, Hempel Gardens. Before joining British Land in 2014, Arianna got an MBA degree at London Business School in London after working for 4 years as an architect for award winning practice Allies and Morrison Architects.
