With over 25 years of executive-level experience, Eric takes a visionary and collaborative approach to every project, leading his team to produce truly innovative results for his clients. A creative entrepreneur with a passion for branding, marketing, architecture, interior design and placemaking, Eric has extensive knowledge of real estate and a passion for holistic marketing strategy and brand management. After leading his own firm for over a decade, Eric merged Burka Studios with Streetsense, where he offers his clients — from local and national real estate firms to international hotel brands — an unparalleled breadth and depth of insights, strategy, and results.

Brian Miller

Brian co-established edit lab at Streetsense in December 2012. His experience spans all project phases from concept development, architecture, and interiors, through production. Prior to joining Streetsense, he founded the hospitality design firm edit in 2008, and has been lead designer on over 80 restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Over the past decade, he has built a strength in amenity spaces in residential buildings and retail interface. Brian received his Master’s of Architecture and BFA in Architectural History from the Savannah College of Art & Design.

Laura Tracey

Laura joined CBRE in November 2017 from KPF where she was most recently, head of Residential for the One Crown Place project in London. She has worked as residential lead on 22 Bishopsgate, South Bank Tower and One Crown Place. Laura is our in-house architect. She has a decade of industry experience which enables us to combine both market feedback and sales experience with a solid understanding of the technical and cost constraints that exist in the delivery of a project. She has a particular focus unit layout optimisation, interior design and amenity provision.

Laura also works with CBRE’s WELL certified sustainability team to advise on developing healthy residential developments and Streetsense, our experiential, place making and interiors branch. Laura will work closely with your chosen architect to help drive the scheme’s full marketable potential.

Michela Hancock

Michela leads the development business in the UK. She focuses on overseeing execution of current projects including financing, amenity and unit planning, design, entitlements, construction and lease up efforts on multifamily and student developments. In addition, Michela is helping to secure a pipeline of 10,000 units in the next 3-4 years. She is currently Vice Chairman of the Urban Land Institute’s UK Residential Council, a member of the British Property Federation (BPF) Build to Rent Committee and a board member, treasurer and chair of the events and marketing committee of the United Kingdom Apartment Association (UKAA).

Rosie Ashton

Rosie has been advising on Build to Rent developments in the UK and Europe for over 5 years at CBRE, seeing the market and product evolve from infancy. She advises on residential schemes with regards to design and specification bespoke to the target markets for each scheme, ensuring that value is added through design and efficiency. Her specialism is in “income-generating bed spaces” such as Build to Rent and Co-living. She has been involved in the design development of projects valued up to £1 billion in GDV - including major regeneration developments - for a wide range of clients.
