Sherin’s most recent role was Head of Commercial Office business at Lendlease, she was responsible for a range of regeneration projects, including the £2.4bn International Quarter London in Stratford, Silvertown and Euston, with a gross development value of over £5bn. She also led the company’s social impact strategy.

In Whitehall, she held the dual role of CEO at the Government Property Unit and Head of Property Profession for the Civil Service. As part of her work for the largest owner of real estate in the UK, she led, devised and executed the property strategy for government, looking at how they could use their portfolios effectively to create growth as well as saving over £1bn in running costs and £3.6bn in capital receipts. Through the creation of the One Public Estate programme, she also been a strong part of the Government’s social change agenda with a particular focus on creating more homes and jobs. She is due to return to Government in late summer in a new senior leadership role.

Sherin is also a trustee of the Design Council and has recently won the Asian Women of Achievement Awards in the inaugural Real Estate, Infrastructure and Construction Category. She has been in the Property Week Power 100, 40 under 40 and Bisnow’s 51 Most Influential Women in UK Real Estate.

Larry Malcic leads the design process for HOK in London and provides design direction for a diverse range of projects, including commercial, corporate, academic and civic buildings. His involvement begins at the strategic design stage and continues throughout the development and delivery of projects. He established HOK’s strong presence in the UK and Europe, and has designed buildings in North America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Larry is working on projects in the UK, the Middle East, North America and South Korea and has delivered multiple award-winning projects in London for clients including Canary Wharf, Grosvenor and Skanska. Construction will begin soon on Spire London, his design for Europe’s tallest residential building. Under his leadership, the London practice has restored and refurbished major government buildings like the Ministry of Defence Main Building, the Foreign and Commonwealth Offices and 22-26 Whitehall for the Cabinet Office. His work in continental Europe includes waterfront master plans for Amsterdam and Rotterdam, as well as corporate buildings for NCR Corporation, Cisco Systems, and Dexia Bank.

Before joining HOK, he held academic and administrative appointments in American universities where he was Assistant Dean for Planning and Development in the Olin School of Business, Washington University, and Visiting Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Texas.

Larry’s undergraduate degree in Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture were awarded by the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the British Council of Offices, a trustee of the Architectural Association Foundation and a member of the Dean’s Council, University of Pennsylvania. Larry is a regular speaker in universities and conferences in Europe and Asia.

Hunter is co-head of the Savills West End office agency team. He has worked in the Central London office market since 2006, with three years working in Tenant Representation in Hong Kong from 2011-2014. He provides development and leasing advice to a wide variety of major landlords and investors in Central London, as well as advising occupiers.

Felicity Lindsay is a partner at Gowling WLG who specialises in commercial development and investment work. She has particular expertise in portfolio acquisitions and disposals, acting for major office occupiers taking headquarters space, and in acting on the value add side of portfolio management for institutional investment funds. She acts for both private and public bodies, including HM Revenue & Customs on their nationwide occupational portfolio. She has recently acted for Royal London on their office sector assets, Knight Frank Investment Management, Government Property Unit, Westminster City Council, Manchester Airport Group and St Modwen across a variety of asset classes, dealing with their development projects, investment deals, lettings and occupational requirements.

Zach Vaughan is Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Property Group, responsible for

Brookfield’s European real estate investments.

Mr. Vaughan joined Brookfield in the United States in 2012 and relocated to London

in 2015. Since joining, he has been involved in several M&A and asset transactions

including Thayer Lodging, Center Parcs, MPG Office Trust, Student Roost,

Associated Estates and Interhotels. Before to relocating to London he oversaw

Brookfield’s North American multifamily investments and its operating company,

Fairfield Residential. Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Vaughan worked at Canada

Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) and Reichmann International.

Mr. Vaughan received an Honors Economics degree from The University of Western

Ontario.

Lorna is Head of Real Estate Debt at LGIM Real Assets with specific responsibility for the team originating, analysing and managing real

estate debt investments on behalf of internal and external clients. Lorna is also involved in the provision and development of client solutions,

debt products and funds and is a member of the property and private credit investment committees.

Lorna joined the business in 2018 from Blackstone Real Estate where she held the role of Managing Director focussed on UK debt and

equity investments. Prior to Blackstone, Lorna held various senior roles at RBS, including Managing Director in Real Estate Finance and

Head of UK Real Estate Restructuring from 2008 to 2011.

Lorna holds an honours degree in Urban Planning from Strathclyde University and a masters degree in Land Economy from Aberdeen

University and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Lorna is also a member of the Board of CREFC (Europe).

Howard heads up the real estate and construction team at RSM consisting of over 80 partners and staff around the UK. In addition to assisting companies on audit, assurance and financial reporting matters he is also involved in advising clients on how to maximise their opportunities generally and how best to structure themselves. Howard is involved in dealing with both UK based and overseas investors

A lot of Mark’s work in today’s market involves pre-acquisition advice, prior to bid submission, looking at where issues such as dilapidations, rights of light, future project feasibility and other unforeseen issues might require a more sophisticated approach to getting the acquisition price right to ensure maximum future value. Mark is also a highly respected dilapidations specialist, acting for many of the UK’s biggest landlords and tenants. He was a named Expert for the Canary Wharf Group concerning dilapidations issues in their lease to Lehman Brothers (in administration) at 25 Bank Street (one million sq. ft.) for a High Court trial.

Mark also regularly writes for industry press and lectures at the CPD Foundation and at many RICS events. He is a keen cyclist, having taken part in Cycle to MIPIM; a novice sailor; mountain climber and triathlete.
