Ryan McCord joined McCord in 2003 and has served as President since 2008. Founded in 1973, McCord is a leader in commercial real estate and has a great track record of success in urban infill and green field development. Since joining MDI, Ryan has led more than three-quarters of a billion dollars of transactions in office, retail, multi-family, condo, bond, and land throughout Texas and across the country.

Today, Ryan’s focus is on developing Generation Park, the newest and largest master planned economic center in Houston. Located on Beltway 8 in the Lake Houston area, over $500MM / 2MM SF of Office, Retail, Civic, and Industrial have been constructed in Generation Park since breaking ground in 2014. Hospitality and Multi-family are set to start construction in 2017. At 4,000 acres Generation Park is by far the largest contiguous property on Beltway 8, has the most frontage (2.5 miles) and is the closest to Downtown, both airports, all major sporting venues, and the Texas Medical Center.

McCord takes seriously the stewardship owed to such a significant development opportunity in the Greater Houston Area and is focused on creating the greatest possible value for the entire region.

Prior to joining McCord, Ryan served as Risk Manager for GE Capital Real Estate in Tokyo and participated in over $2 billion of equity and debt transactions in Japan, Taiwan, China, Korea and the Czech Republic.

Ryan holds a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and currently serves on the board of the Herman Park Conservancy.

Uri Man is a real estate developer and consultant working on projects in Florida and Texas. Mr. Man has been entrenched in the development scene since 2002 having sourced and overseen developments, including more than 3,500 apartments and homes as an executive of The Related Group, Gables Residential and Ram Development. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Man's ground-up development projects ranged from large scale single-family master-planned communities, to market rate garden, mid-rise and high-rise apartment and condominium projects, to a 300,000 square foot retail lifestyle center. Mr. Man was also an executive of the Florida Panthers NHL Hockey Team where he led the development of the team's new training facility.

Uri was formerly the CEO of Crystal Lagoons US Corp., a company that licenses its patented technology to developers enabling the addition of beach life to projects with giant lagoons for swimming and watersports. As the company's CEO, Mr. Man created partnerships with ESJ Capital, Encore Funds, Metro Places, Land Tejas, Wynn Resorts, and other development companies to bring this unique technology to the US market.Currently Mr. Man serves as Exec VP of Land Tejas, the largest developer of masterplanned communities in Houston (based on lots developed and sold) and CEO of Lagoon Development, the development and ownership company of lagoons in Texas.

Mr. Man holds a Florida GC license and Broker's license and has taught real estate and business courses at FAU and UC Berkeley. Mr. Man serves on the Urban Land Institute (ULI) National Community Development Council. Mr. Man was awarded the Florida 'Young Leader of the Year' award by the ULI. Mr. Man has served on the boards of several charities and has been active in raising funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, FIDF, and the Miami Dolphins NFL Cancer Challenge.

Mr. Man received a BBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Man has been a regular contributor to national news shows on Fox Business, CNN, CNBC and others providing his opinion regarding real estate markets and the US economy.

Simmi is a Senior Vice President in JLL’s Retail Brokerage Services Division. She leads the Retail Land Practice for JLL in Houston and is building a world class team to service our growing land clients. She assists clients with the acquisition and disposition of land with a consultative, strategic approach to ensure they are maximizing their value. She also represents Buyers across all business lines with their land acquisitions needs and is an expert in site and trade area analysis. Prior to joining JLL in 2014, Simmi was with CBRE for 21 years. While at CBRE, Simmi had successfully closed more than $650 million in sales throughout the greater Houston area. She analyzes each real estate transaction, formulating ideal use strategies for the property and proactively manages her clients needs. Simmi is well know throughout the real estate community and recognized as a top performer who brings a wealth of knowledge to each transaction. Simmi earned a degree from The University of Houston – Clear Lake, a licensed real estate sales person in the state of Texas and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Additionally, she was named a 2017 Houston Business Journal Heavy Hitter and a Top Gun in JLL for 2016.

As CEO/Partner of Rooted Development Services, Peter brings this vast experience to numerous

residential master planned developments and single family rental projects that Rooted is actively

developing in Texas.

Mark Grobmyer is a Shareholder in Winstead's Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group. Mark’s practice is focused on real estate development, with an emphasis on structuring and administering residential, mixed-use and office condominiums, and residential and mixed-use communities. Mark also has experience in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions including drafting acquisition and disposition contracts, easements and license agreements. In addition to representation of homebuilders, Mark specializes in representing build-for-rent and single-family rental owners and operators on a variety of matters, including acquisition, disposition, land-banking, governance, exit-strategy planning, and regulatory requirement compliance. Mark also represents master planned community developers on the challenges in planning for accommodating build-for-rent and single-family rental projects within and adjacent to new and mature master planned communities, and serves as the Chair of Winstead’s Build-for-Rent and Single Family Rentals Practice Group.

Prior to joining Winstead, Mark worked in Washington, D.C. as a legislative aide for United States Senator Blanche L. Lincoln of Arkansas. While attending the University of Arkansas School of Law, Mark worked as a summer clerk in the Office of the Attorney General for the Republic of Palau.

Blair Sweeney is a Managing Director in Landmark Properties’ development group and leads the company’s build-to-rent platform. Blair is a veteran of the multi-family industry, where he has spent the majority of his career in a variety of roles in development, asset management, and property management. Notably, his prior experience includes six years as a developer with Landmark’s student housing platform, where he was involved in the development of many of the company’s flagship assets. He is also an experienced developer and former executive in the self-storage sector, both with a public REIT and an entrepreneurial, Atlanta-based developer.

Blair is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a BA in Political Science. He lives in Marietta, Georgia.

Todd Rasmussen is the Houston Division President for Taylor Morrison. Rasmussen is a veteran

in the homebuilding industry and has been with Taylor Morrison for 18 years. Previous roles

with the company include Houston’s Vice President of Operations and Vice President of

Finance, as well as Orlando’s Division Controller.

Todd earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Finance) from Emory University and holds

an MBA from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Accounting from New England

College. Todd is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Scott Davis is the President of Location Strategy, LLC, a real estate strategy and consulting company. Previously, Scott introduced Zonda to the Texas markets for Meyers Research, and was the Houston Regional Director for Metrostudy. Scott was a top producer locally and regionally CBRE, received the “Land Deal of the Year” award from the Houston Business Journal, and has written two books on how the Millennial generation changed the workplace and faith communities. Scott is a graduate of the University of Texas and is a licensed Texas real estate broker. He has two daughters in high school and volunteers as an assistant debate coach at St. Agnes Academy in Houston.

Mr. McKenna serves as Vice President, Business Development at Centric, where he focuses on the company’s strategic growth initiatives and the management of key developer & builder relationships. Kevin manages and oversees the Business Development, Customer Acquisition, Customer Experience teams.

Most recently prior to joining Centric, Mr. McKenna served as Managing Partner at Teleios Commodities in The Woodlands, TX, where he managed operations, business development, and investments during a period of strong growth. Before Teleios, Mr. McKenna was VP of Business Development at a Houston-based oilfield technology company serving the upstream E&P space in North America.

Kevin has over twenty years of experience in business development and executive management helping privately held businesses increase revenues, margins, and market share. In his role as head of business development, customer acquisition, and customer experience, Mr. McKenna ensures that Centric delivers value to its customers which leads to sustainable growth for the firm.

Mr. McKenna holds a MSc in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado in Denver and a BS in Geology from Trinity University. He is an active volunteer in Boy Scouts of America and serves on the Board of Directors for the North Houston FCA. Mr. McKenna lives in The Woodlands, TX, with his wife and three children, and enjoys mountain sports, golf, and running.
