Adam is responsible for Management Services encompassing property, facility, and engineering

management in the Sunbelt markets including Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia

and Florida, and Latin America including Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, and Brazil. His portfolio consists

of 200 office, industrial, facilities, life science, medical office, mixed use and retail properties totaling 70

million square feet, with 50% on behalf of 3 rd party owners and 50% being equity assignments.

In this role, Adam works with his team of 405 real estate professionals to meet and exceed the

investment goals of his clients. He is passionate about the training and development of his people and

believes that the Hines employee is the secret to providing market leading service and results, regardless

of asset class, product type, or geography.

Adam joined Hines in 2003 as an Assistant Property Manager and has worked his way up through the

firm. During this time, he was responsible for the management of several iconic buildings in Houston

including One Shell Plaza and BG Group Place. He was instrumental in creating the Hines LEED

certification and feasibility study process which was used to certify 20 million feet of LEED EB office

space in 2009 and 2010. He serves on the board of Houston BOMA as past president, and sits on the

board of URES, the undergraduate real estate program at The University of Houston.

Adam holds a Bachelors in Industrial Distribution from The University of Houston. He is the father of two

teenage boys, and, in his spare time, enjoys cycling, scuba diving, and cooking.

Anil Mohammed

Anil Mohammed is a co-founder of DML Capital and has been a partner at the firm for 13 years, leading its growth and development since its launch in 2010.

After graduating from Emory University in 2009, he returned to Houston to grow his family’s business in retail fueling stations and fast food. Anil soon discovered his passion for developing retail real estate.

In 2010, Anil and his partners Sajjid Dawood and Saleem Lakhani acquired their first shopping center. Fast forward to 2023, Anil has played a key role in the development of more than 750 acres of real estate, propelling the company’s assets from 1.2 million to over 500 million. Currently, the firm oversees over 1 million square feet of retail property.

Anil has a knack for finding opportunistic deals and a track record of turning failed management into positive cash-flowing assets that provide long-term stable growth for the company and its partners. He values long-term relationships based on trust and loyalty and is committed to delivering exceptional results for DML Capital’s clients.

In his downtime, Anil enjoys traveling to discover new cultures and experiences, gaining valuable perspective and inspiration. He is an avid skier and loves hitting the slopes whenever he can.

Anil lives in West University with his wife and dog. As a Houston native, he finds contributing to the city’s evolution fulfilling by developing real estate properties in his hometown.

Michael Kasmiersky

Michael Kasmiersky has 28 years of commercial real estate experience. He enjoys all aspects of property management, with emphasis in tenant retention/relations, construction management, and budgeting. He honed and established a strong construction management background while overseeing Sage Plaza and Post Oak Central. Projects ranged from tenant improvement work of less than 1,000 sq. ft. to multiple floor buildouts, including several capital projects. During his tenure in real estate, he has managed various commercial and retail properties and portfolios ranging from 60,000 to 2 million sq. ft.

Leading up to his career in real estate, Michael worked within the hospitality industry with ClubCorp, which provided a strong base from which to produce his current customer service skills. One of Michael’s strengths is maintaining strong tenant relations, which in turn over time has led to higher tenant satisfaction and retention.

As Vice President Property Management for Lincoln Property Company, Michael has responsibility for all aspects of property management in Houston, including client relations, third-party business development, review of asset performance and business planning, budgeting, operations, strategy, staffing, and leadership.

Michael promotes a team-oriented workplace and strives to motivate all employees to succeed. He encourages a positive and collaborative environment and understands that the success of the team is imperative to the success of the portfolio managed.

Stacy has been with Greystar and its predecessor firm since 1982 and is currently

responsible for national client relations and new business pursuit for the

company’s 670,000 unit domestic management operation. Since joining Greystar,

Mr. Hunt has helped build the firm’s management portfolio through the opening of

regional offices in Arizona, Florida and additional offices in Texas. Stacy is a

member of the National Apartment Association, the National Multi Housing Council

joint legislative committee, the board of directors of the Houston Apartment Association and the

Westchase District, Treasurer of the Better Government Fund of the Houston Apartment Association

and is a licensed Texas broker. He also served as president of the Houston Apartment Association in

1992 and the Texas Apartment Association in 1998. In 1973 Stacy earned a bachelor’s degree in finance

from the University of Texas.

Mr. Hunt has witnessed the firm’s growth from 2,000 units to its current ranking as the largest

apartment manager in the United States, with more than 670,000 units in 43 states. Greystar also

manages approximately 24,650 units in China, France, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain

and the United Kingdom. The company’s owned portfolio consists of over 51,000 units including 87

properties under construction and 31 stabilized properties in markets across the US.

Mr. Hunt is based in Houston, Texas, and the Greystar corporate office is located in Charleston, South

Carolina.

After growing facility service companies across the country for 20 years, Michael

Knight founded Better World Consulting in 2012 to help business-to-business

service providers in a dozen countries build more efficient operations. After being

honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Building Service Contractor

Association International in 2015 he sought out a new challenge.

In 2016 he partnered with multifamily industry veteran Terri Clifton to form

Better World Properties with a goal of elevating the apartment management

industry through the transfer of best practices and proven service industry

strategies.

Today, Better World operates approximately 5,000 apartment units throughout

Texas, has ownership in over 1,000 units, employs over 150 multifamily

professionals and is known as one of the most consistently successful,

trustworthy and honorable companies in the business.
