Dr. Kathy L. Dupree has served as Executive Director for Campus Operations at the University of

Houston-Clear Lake Pearland Campus since 2010, overseeing the overall leadership, management and

direction of the campus. She has worked at UHCL for the past 23 years. Throughout the years, she has

earned a Doctorate of Educational Leadership with specialization in Higher Education Administration,

Master of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Accounting degrees from UHCL. In her

spare time, Kathy is an avid college and professional football fan, voracious reader, a member of St.

Helen’s Church, and loves Cajun and zydeco music.

Allen H. Crosswell is the Managing Principal of NewQuest Crosswell (NQC) and a partner of NewQuest Properties. NQC is a comprehensive Commercial Real Estate (CRE) company active in small shopping center development, single tenant development across the country, land acquisition/development, and operates a $100 million lending platform. NewQuest Properties is a national tenant anchored shopping center development company, with a portfolio exceeding $1.4 billion in assets. NewQuest Properties has all aspects of the development process under one roof including acquisition, design, legal, leasing, construction development, and property management. NewQuest currently employs more than 100 team members.

Prior to merging with NewQuest Properties in 2013, Crosswell was Managing Principal of TGB Crosswell, Crosswell Greenwood Commercial Development, Crosswell Torian Commercial Properties, and Crosswell Properties. These operating entities date back to 1993 when he left his appraisal and valuation job at Lewis Realty Advisors. During the life of these entities, Allen developed 3 million sf of retail, 50 single tenant build to suits, and purchased/developed/sold $300 million of land.

Crosswell is a 5th generation Houstonian with a long family history of politics and philanthropy. Crosswell holds a BA in Real Estate Finance from the University of Mississippi, where he remains very active, including serving on multiple boards. In addition, he is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), St. Martins Episcopal Church and various philanthropic boards. He is a past President of Post Oak Little League, as well as a past Member of the Board of Directors of Houston Country Club.

Russell Bynum

Mr. Bynum has been a part of the real estate and engineering industry in

Houston for 18 years. He began his career as an Engineer with Turner

Collie & Braden, Inc. working on a variety of Transportation projects in the

Texas Region. During that time he chose to attend the Bauer School of

Business part-time MBA program. After graduating in 2005, he moved on

from the engineering world to become an Acquisitions Manager for

Friendswood Development Company. As an Acquisitions Manager, he was

responsible for acquiring land and lot positions, preparing due diligence

packages, and arranging sale and purchase agreements. He was promoted

soon after to the position of Community Development Manager where he

oversaw 12 master planned communities. He was president of 11 community associations and guided

the marketing of the communities. While at Friendswood, he completed over 2000 lot transactions and

over 800 acres of land deals. As homebuilding tightened in 2007, Mr. Bynum returned to Engineering to

work at AECOM in their infrastructure department. While working at AECOM, Mr. Bynum has been

involved in developing feasibility studies for toll roads and advancing the design on the METRO

University Corridor Light Rail.

In 2012, Mr. Bynum joined KB Home where he was the Senior Director of Land Development. During his

time at KB, he successfully completed 20 land transactions totaling 1,500 acres and 300 finished lots. He

was responsible for all feasibility and land development activities. He then joined Taylor Morrison as the

Vice President of Land Development where he oversaw the completion of 1,700 developed lots. In

2016, he joined Hillwood Communities, a Perot Company, as the General Manager for Houston where

he is developing Pomona, a 1,000 acre master planned community just south of Pearland. Since the

beginning of 2016, Pomona has sold over 150 homes and closed over 100 homes. At build out, the

community will house over 2,000 single family homes. Mr. Bynum oversees all operations for Pomona

and is charged with growing the Houston footprint for Hillwood Communities.

Mr. Bynum attended the University of Texas at Austin graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in

Civil Engineering in 1999. He graduated with an MBA from the University of Houston in 2005. Mr.

Bynum has been active in American Society of Civil Engineers and Urban Land Institute. He lives in

Kingwood, TX with his wife Michelle and three kids Michael, Julia, and Andy.
