Tom Kiler serves as Managing Director for EDENS, where he oversees the acquisition, development and operations of EDENS’ properties within the Denver, Houston, Dallas and Austin markets.

From 2006-14, Kiler was a Vice President of Development with EDENS in its Washington, D.C. office, where he led the day-to-day development responsibilities of Mosaic, a 31-acre, 2.0M square foot neighborhood in Fairfax, Va. Kiler and the Mosaic team transformed the community from a dilapitated movie theater, salvage yards and disjointed parking lots into walkable streets, parks, an arthouse movie theater, local restaurants and shops, tech office and housing for over 1,200 residents.

From 2014-16, Kiler was a Senior Development Manager with Continuum Partners LLC, a mixed-used development firm based in Denver, Co., where he led the entitlement, planning and sale of multifamily residential connected to the Yorktown Center Mall in suburban Chicago, as well as development capacities on the 9th & Colorado redevelopment in Denver.

Kiler holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Economics from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Real Estate, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a LEED AP with the U.S. Green Building Council and an active member in the Downtown Denver Partnership, Urban Land Institute and The Nature Conservancy.

Kiler lives in Denver with his wife and two daughters. Born outside of Baltimore, Md., he is a 2013 inductee to the Maryland State Wrestling Hall of Fame. An aspiring outdoorsman, Kiler loves hiking and mountaineering and has summited both Mt. Rainier and Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Shellye Arnold

Memorial Park Conservancy

Shellye joined Memorial Park Conservancy in 2013. Since then, Shellye and the Conservancy leadership team have grown the organization from 3 employees to over 30 and from a $500,000 annual budget to over $30 million in operating and capital expenses. Working closely with partners, Shellye and the Conservancy developed a long-range Master Plan for Memorial Park in 2015; initiated capital improvements and transitioned management and operations of 1,100 acres of Memorial Park to the Conservancy in 2016; and in 2018 secured approval for a plan to deliver over $200 million of capital improvements in Memorial Park by 2028. Fundraising is underway for this Ten-Year Plan for Memorial Park, with catalyst funding from the Kinder Foundation. This is one of the largest urban park restoration efforts underway in the U.S. Project Partners in this public-private partnership include the Houston Parks and Recreation Department, Memorial Park Conservancy, Kinder Foundation, and Uptown Development Authority. The team is focused on:

· Restoring the Park’s ecological systems and creating greater resiliency

· Reconnecting the Park’s land, waterways, trails, and people

· Consolidating compatible uses together in appropriate areas

· Tending to the land and the Park’s cultural history, maintaining balance through responsible management

· And enhancing the overall Park experience and amenities

Shellye brings a background in executive leadership and change management from her nearly 20 years at Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq Computer Corporation and McKinsey & Company. Having studied public policy, Shellye spent the first part of her career with the Texas State Legislature, the Texas Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Department of Commerce. She previously worked as a volunteer in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Paraguay and Peru delivering public health programs and speaks Spanish fluently. Shellye holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master in Public Policy from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School. As a native Houstonian, Shellye cares deeply about Houston’s parks, bayous, green spaces and the wildlife that inhabit them. Shellye volunteers in animal rescue and from 2011 – 2019 served as a leader for Girl Scout Troop 21, the nation’s only Girl Scout troop composed of women with differing learning abilities.

David Hagy

David Hagy has over 20 years of experience managing projects, formulating policy, conducting strategic planning and leading outreach for state and local governments and federal agencies. His experience includes a wide range of issue areas, and work on the federal budget and grants.

Most recently, David was a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, a leading strategy and technology consulting firm based in McLean, Virginia. His assignments included work at the U.S. Departments of Defense and Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence focused on creating policy to facilitate information sharing among federal, state and local governments and the private sector.

Prior to Booz Allen, David spent over four years in the U.S. Department of Justice. He was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the Senate as Director of the National Institute of Justice (NIJ); the office conducts research and develops technology for the criminal justice community. Previous to NIJ, he was appointed Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Justice Programs (OJP), where he was responsible for policy and budget coordination in support of OJP’s mission to improve public safety through federal, state and local partnerships.From 2003 - 2005, David was Director for Local Coordination at DHS in the Office of the Secretary, serving as liaison to the nation’s cities and counties.

Before leaving for Washington, David spent nine years working in local government in Harris County and Houston, Texas. He served as Chief of Staff to County Judge Robert Eckels, managing and promoting policy initiatives in the areas of economic development, transportation, emergency management, education and social services. He oversaw the Judge’s legislative agenda, community affairs and press relations. He also served as Senior Aide to a Houston City Council Member and City Controller.

David holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from Tulane University and a B.S. in Economics from Texas A&M University. He lives in Houston with his wife Sarah and their four children.

Pat is President of the Houston office of

Colliers International. Pat relocated to

Houston from Florida where he served as

President of the Colliers offices in Tampa

Bay, Orlando and Southwest Florida.

Pat has over 34 years of experience in

commercial real estate as a producing

broker, educator, sales manager and

managing broker.

Pat started his career as Director of

Marketing for a real estate data base

company where he spent three years

interviewing top brokerage houses

throughout the United States and assisted in

their automation needs as a consultant and

instructor. As President of the Colliers

Houston office, he has direct responsibility

for recruiting, training and managing the

sales and leasing teams, property

management and business plan creation

and coordination for the company.

PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Pat was responsible for building and

organizing retail service delivery capabilities

for Colliers worldwide as chairman of the

Colliers Retail Specialty Group (96-2000,

2002-2013). Pat is also a founding member

of the Colliers Oil and Gas practice group.

Among his academic accomplishments, Pat

wrote the capstone case study for the CCIM

program's final course offering from 1986 -

1998. The case study combined the

marketing and financial concepts taught by

CCIM to allow the students to apply the

material to a simulated commercial property

disposition.

He has been an instructor for NACORE’s

(now CORENET) Intermediate Finance

Course and was awarded the Top-Rated

Faculty Certificate in 2000. Pat has been

quoted in national and regional publications

including the Wall Street Journal, Dow

Jones, Newsweek, Real Estate Forum,

National Real Estate Investor, Globe Street

and others. He has been an expert panelist

for NAIOP, Real Share, ICSC and many

other real estate organizations.

Pat has served as a member (and

Chairman) of the Colliers Managers Steering

committee, the Board of Directors for

Colliers USA and is the immediate past

Chairman of the Colliers USA Board of

Advisors. In 2003, Pat was awarded Colliers

Manager of the Year. In 2004, he was

chosen by Colliers International as the Tom

Richardson Award recipient, an honor based

on strength of character. In 2012, Pat was

chosen as the recipient of the Colliers USA

Pinnacle Award for service excellence. Pat

is the only person in Colliers to win all three

of these awards. He served as an instructor

for Colliers University 2010-14. In 2017 Pat

was recognized as a “Best Boss” by Real

Estate Forum magazine.

Rebecca Luks spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs in New York in several groups, including Equity Capital Markets, where she worked on equity underwriting; Firm Strategy, where she focused on new business development and firm acquisitions; and, most recently, Reinsurance, where she worked on block acquisitions of life insurance and annuities, business strategy, and new product development. Rebecca graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in 1997.

James also has a past of being a Military Police Officer with the US Army, but nowadays spends his free time flying with his private pilot's license. A highly respected commercial real estate broker in the Houston market, Lilly Golden has been working in the industry for 25 years. She has represented retailers such as HEB, Sun & Ski, Guitar Center, Sur La Table, David’s Bridal, 99 Cents Only, Aaron Rents, and Houston’s Restaurants, leased properties for landlords such as CBL, Crescent, Freeway Properties and Tanglewood Corporation, represented investors such as Mischer Investments, Provident and Lovett Homes and completed build to suits for both Aaron Rents and Dollar Tree.

Lilly has earned the “Heavy Hitters Award” from the Houston Business Journal and the “Costar Broker of the Year Award” in 2012, 2013 and 2015. She is a CCIM, a board member of The Site Source National Retail Broker Network, the Houston chairperson for the International Council of Shopping Centers and a member of Commercial Real Estate Women. Lilly started her career as a Systems Engineer at IBM in Chicago, she joined Jones Lang LaSalle 5 years later and worked as both an office and retail broker before moving to Houston in 1993. After working for Trammel Crow, Wulfe & Co and Moody Rambin, Lilly formed Evergreen Commercial Realty in 2005.
