Roger is HOK’s design principal in Texas, working in Houston while leading design teams in that studio as well as in Dallas and Austin. He is a member of the firm’s board of directors and global design board. Through his design leadership, Roger serves an integral role in steering the direction of HOK’s work in the Texas and U.S. Gulf Coast region. He is passionate about weaving his work into the fabric of a city. Roger is recognized for his design expertise in complex commercial and corporate planning and design throughout the U.S. and abroad. He is highly regarded for his expansive knowledge in sustainable design and considered an industry expert in the design of high-performance tall buildings as well as complex corporate campuses, government and civic buildings, higher education, hospitality and healthcare facilities.

Doug Goff is Chief Operating Officer of The Johnson Development Corporation; a Houston based firm specializing in highly amenitized, master planned residential and mixed-use communities. In this role, Doug is responsible for the direction and management of development of over 44,500 acres with entitlements for 74,000 residential units and 16,600,000 square feet of retail / commercial space in Houston, Dallas and Atlanta. Over the past 20 years, Johnson communities have created over $25+ billion in new taxable value for municipalities, school districts and counties. Before assuming his current responsibilities as COO in 2005, Doug was General Manager of Johnson’s Sienna Plantation, a 10,500 acre master planned community in Fort Bend County, Texas.

Doug has a Bachelor of Science degree from LSU and a Masters in Management from Purdue University. He has been a resident of Fort Bend County for the past twenty six years.

Outside of my professional commitments, I enjoy spending time with my wife Evelyn (married since 1978) and

my family. Six grandchildren make life interesting and fulfilling. I enjoy most sports, but golf is a family sport

which I started at the age of seven.

My faith is the most important influence in my life, which has led me to be involved in many faith-based

organizations. I enjoy serving with and investing in others, whether on a board or as a mentor.

Geoffrey Jones, individually and as Chairman/Founder of Houston-based Texas Real Estate Fund, Inc. (TREF), has developed, owned and invested in shopping centers, office buildings, and residential projects in the Houston metropolitan area since the 1980’s. TREF was founded in 1987 to develop and purchase real estate in Houston.

Jones was the original Co-General Partner/Owner of the $200 Mil Houston Pavilions mixed-use project in Houston’s CBD for which he received special recognition from Houston’s Eighteenth US Congressional District in 2006. He sold the project in 2012.The Houston Pavilions was the recipient of three Houston Business Journal Landmark Awards in 2007 and 2008.

Included among his other projects are the Compass Bank Building and the Cedarstone Office Complex in The Woodlands, Northdale Plaza in Kingwood, April Pointe Plaza on Lake Conroe, Theiss Oaks Square in the FM 1960 area, and a separately gated enclave of luxury homes located inside the Gates of West Oak where former President George H. W. Bush currently resides.

Mr. Jones was the founder of Pinnacle Homes which he sold in the mid-90’s. He is one of the original founders of the First National Bank of The Woodlands (which is now a BBVA/Compass affiliated bank).

Jones managed the global real estate activities for Cooper Industries, Inc., through much of the 90’s. His responsibilities included the total scope management and administration of Cooper’s 600-property domestic and international real estate portfolio (then valued in excess of $1.2 billion). In 2002, Jones negotiated two portfolio sales in excess of $200 million for Goldman Sachs and a major northeastern real estate fund.

Jones' real estate career spans 44 years. Previously he worked for Gerald Hines Interests on two separate occasions. He served as Senior Project Manager for the $105 Mil rehab of Philadelphia's historic 30th Street Station. He also served as one of the managers of Houston's famed Galleria.

Jones graduated from the University of Houston in 1975 with a B.A. in Marketing/Journalism. He completed the Rice University Management Program in 1984 and holds an MCR (Master of Corporate Real Estate) designation from the International Institute of Corporate Real Estate.

James began his career as a general trainee and Credit Analyst at Harris Bank in Chicago. He was recruited to join the Chicago office of the Melbourne, Australia based ANZ Bank (ANZ) to become a mid market business loan officer. He was promoted to head up ANZ’s Houston Loan Production Office. He was later recruited as Senior Credit Officer for the US operations of the State Bank of South Australia, a $20 billion Australian.

James was promoted to Head of International Credit for State Bank of South Australia, moving to Adelaide, South Australia. He eventually moved back to U.S. to join River Forest Bancorp in Chicago. In 1996 James was presented with the opportunity to move back to Houston, TX as President and CEO of North Houston Bank.

As President and CEO of North Houston Bank, James was responsible for all operations of the Bank. He was also part of several working committees within the holding company.

In 2010, James left North Houston Bank to form Commonwealth Funding, LLC. Commonwealth is involved in Commercial RE Investment, Advisory, Consulting and Financing Structuring. The company provides its services to a variety of companies known to Mr. Murnane over a 30 year banking career; using established banking, municipal and investor contacts.

Jim joined former bank customer Geoffrey P. Jones, a well-known Houston developer, to form IMD in 2015 to purchase and develop the former Imperial Sugar Refinery in Sugar Land, Texas. This is a mixed use project to include 295,000 sf of retail, 81,000 sf of office, 25,000 sf Houston Children’s Museum, 300,000 sf high end residential, and a 180 key boutique hotel, all within the historic Imperial master planned community.

John “Jay” Patout is a founding partner with the law firm of Patout & Shaw, PLLC which focuses on real estate, development, and construction. Mr. Patout is also a founding partner of Bellwether Consulting LLC which focuses on the 179D Energy Efficient Commercial Property tax deduction as well as the Research and Development tax credit. Mr. Patout has over 15 years in the two fields and has focused his practices in the Houston area for the past 10. Mr. Patout has been awarded the title of Super Lawyer – Rising Star, has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, was awarded the title of Rising Star in the Fort Bend Business Journal, and was awarded as one of the Top Lawyers by Houstonia Magazine. Mr. Patout also currently sits as a member on the Associated Builders and Contractors’ Legal Issues Committee.
