WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND THIS CONFERENCE

What You'll Learn:

  • How Houston's multifamily market is emerging from one of the largest supply cycles in its history and what the contraction of the development pipeline means for owners, investors, and operators through 2027

  • How tightening supply, returning capital, and shifting renter demographics are converging to define Houston's next multifamily cycle

  • What developers are actually underwriting today and how site selection, unit mix, and product positioning decisions are being made in a bifurcated demand environment

  • How construction costs, tariffs, labor constraints, and financing gaps are reshaping project delivery timelines and risk management strategies across Houston

  • What amenity investments, technology platforms, and design choices are genuinely accelerating lease-up and driving renewals in Houston's competitive apartment market

  • How the workforce housing gap is reshaping deal structures, financing strategies, and development approaches for the 60-80% AMI renter that the market is struggling to serve

  • Where capital is actually flowing in Houston right now, which assets are trading, what cap rates look like at close, and what lenders are requiring before they write a check

  • Which submarkets are tightening fastest, where rent growth is returning first, and how owners and operators are repositioning portfolios ahead of the recovery

  • What owners, developers, and investors are watching most closely as Houston enters a cycle defined by shrinking supply, improving fundamentals, and renewed institutional interest

How You'll Do More Business From Attending This Event:
Join Bisnow's Houston Annual Multifamily Conference (BMAC) to tap into one of the country's most compelling apartment market recovery stories. Houston is the fourth largest city in the United States and one of the fastest growing major metros in the country, adding tens of thousands of new residents annually and supported by one of the most diversified employment bases of any major American city — spanning energy, healthcare, aerospace, logistics, and a rapidly expanding tech sector.
After navigating one of the most significant supply waves in its history, Houston's multifamily market is turning a corner. Deliveries in 2026 are on pace to fall to their lowest level since 2013, rent growth is returning across key submarkets, and transaction volume is accelerating as investors who sat on the sidelines in 2023 and 2024 re-enter the market with conviction. With cap rates averaging around 6% and fundamentals improving quarter over quarter, Houston is increasingly being cited as one of the top rent growth markets in the country through 2027.
Get an inside look at how this momentum is translating into real decisions: how developers are restarting pipelines after years of restraint, how operators are managing through the final innings of the concession era, and how capital providers are underwriting a market that is positioned to outperform the national average as supply and demand rebalance. Join Bisnow to gain perspective from active owners, developers, investors, and lenders on the factors driving deal flow, project delivery, and portfolio strategy across Greater Houston.

Who You'll Meet During Networking:
Owners, developers, investors, brokers, lenders, architects, engineers, general contractors, property managers, proptech providers, affordable housing developers, city and economic development leaders, and other senior decision-makers actively shaping Houston's multifamily market.

Why You Should Attend:
Bisnow events bring together the biggest power players in the industry to identify opportunities, build your network, and expand your business. With the largest audience of commercial real estate professionals in the world, no one knows how to help your business grow more than we do. Join Bisnow as we go deep into the Houston multifamily market to analyze its strengths, debate its challenges, and strategize on the opportunities defining its next cycle. You don't want to miss this event.
