With over 18 years of commercial real estate experience, Mr. Charlton has directly overseen in excess of

$2 Billion of vertical and land development as well as the acquisition of investment grade assets valued

at more than $500 Million. His diversified development background includes residential, office, retail,

hospitality and industrial real estate. He has experience in construction and risk management, sales and

leasing, financial structuring of debt and equity as well as asset management and re-positioning.

Mr. Charlton joined RIDA in January 2008 and has been focused on the US domestic market. Since

graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in Entrepreneurship, he has received from the

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority both the Series 3 and Series 63 licensure as well as a Real Estate

Salesperson License from the state of Florida. He is active in charitable organizations including The Early

Learning Coalition, Houston Food Bank, Life Houston, The Florida Grand Opera and Collaborative for

Children.

Aly Valiani

In 2006, Aly left the corporate world to found New Horizons Hospitality and has since successfully developed five properties, bringing the total portfolio to eight properties owned, and managed by New Horizons. Aly has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Management. Since the formation of New Horizons, Aly's main focus has been expanding the portfolio through development and enhancing the guest experience across all New Horizons’ brands and properties. Today, many of New Horizons’ hotels are top RevPAR producing, brand award winners in customer service, and leaders in their respective markets. Aly is currently leading the development team on New Horizon’s eighth property, a 125 all-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton, due to open in summer of 2018.

Kellie Jenks is the Principal of Investments for TRC Capital Partners, LLC and TRC Ventures, L.P. She is responsible for sourcing, analyzing and executing real estate investments. Prior to joining Redstone, Kellie was a Vice President at Rockspring Capital and focused on developing institutional equity relationships. She also held positions as Investment Manager of a $400 million office portfolio at the Lionstone Group and an Associate at Goldman Sachs within the Whitehall Funds where she helped manage a $1.2 billion hotel investment platform.

Kellie serves on the board of Buffalo Bayou Partnership, Hope Stone, Inc and previously served as the Investment Treasurer for the Junior League of Houston. She received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M and her M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Jeffrey W. Binford, CHA is a Director in CBRE Hotels Consulting, a subsidiary of the CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE:CBG) based in Dallas. Mr. Binford has over 40 years in the hospitality industry with diverse disciplines, including market feasibility, appraisal, franchise and management agreements, individual and multi-property management, asset management, and individual and mixed-use hospitality developments. Mr. Binford works with many clients as Advisor, Receiver, Property Manager and Asset Manager.

Mr. Binford began his hospitality career operating full-service hotels under differing brand names, sizes and geographic locations. He was part of multiple pre-opening teams for hotels from 300–2,000 rooms, both as temporary and permanent management positions. His detailed understanding of operations coupled with his expertise in forecasting and budgeting, allows Binford to consistently achieve top profits and service scores.

Prior to CBRE Hotels, Binford served as Managing Director of an international hospitality consulting firm, directly responsible for a portfolio of distressed assets. He also served as Vice President of Development for two large franchise and management organizations, responsible for franchising new-construction developments under multiple brands and soliciting third-party management agreements. His efforts resulted in multi-year awards for both quality and quantity franchise developments with highest per-unit sales. He also previously served as Senior Manager for Pannell Kerr Forster in Dallas.

Mr. Binford personally worked on hundreds of hotels, valued well over $1 Billion with most industry brands, including Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Choice Hotels and InterContinental Hotels Group. He has conducted market and economic feasibility studies, operational reviews and appraisals for hotels and resorts across the country.

Binford has a Bachelor of Science degree from the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel Management at the University of Houston and earned the designation of Certified Hotel Administrator from the American Hotel and Lodging Association’s Educational Institute.

Mr. Binford served on and chaired many public and private boards and is a frequent keynote speaker, guest lecturer and panelist before a number of industry-related educational institutions, associations and chambers of commerce.

Warren W. Wilson is the Executive Vice President of CDC Houston, Inc., a subsidiary of Coventry Development Corporation of New York. In his role with CDC, he is principally responsible for the company’s Springwoods Village master planned community project and the company’s land holdings in Martin County, Florida. The 2,000 acre Springwoods Village project was launched in 2010 with the ExxonMobil campus and the community is now home to Southwestern Energy, CHI – St. Luke’s, American Bureau of Shipping, and Hewlett Packard Inc campuses. In addition, a wide variety of hospitality, retail and residential offerings are open with additional retail and office space under construction. Hewlett Packard Enterprise has also announced plans to relocate its Houston campus to Springwoods Village. Prior to joining Coventry in 2011, Warren held management positions at The Rouse Company and its successor, General Growth Properties.

As New Hope Housing’s founding President and Chief Executive Officer, Joy oversees real estate

development, property management, social service programming, fundraising, marketing, public

relations, and administration. Joy began in 1993 as New Hope’s first employee and has since led

the organization to its 31-year legacy as the leading provider of affordable, permanent Housing

+ Services in the State of Texas.

With Joy’s leadership, New Hope Housing has grown from a small organization that operated 40

units of studio-efficiency housing, to one with more than 1,500 apartment homes at 11

affordable communities across Houston. New Hope has additional developments under

construction and in the funding pipeline, including affordable housing for families and seniors.

The organization is also consulting with other organizations wishing to replicate its model.

New Hope Housing’s historic mission of offering exclusively SRO housing for the formerly

homeless broadened in 2013 to include supportive housing for vulnerable families, and again in

2021, to include working families and individuals with modest incomes. In 2023, New Hope

expanded its mission even further to include supportive housing for seniors (55+) living on

modest incomes. Fifty-five percent (55%) of New Hope’s portfolio is dedicated to Permanent

Supportive Housing (PSH), serving the chronic homeless.

Since inception, New Hope Housing has assisted more than 13,000 people, and has raised more

than $285MM in layered, debt-free financing for capital expansions, organization operating

funds and resident services. New Hope has received numerous prestigious local, national, and

international awards honoring the organization’s innovative and transformative approach to

community change.

Jennifer Woodruff is the Vice President of Operations at Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Houston, a construction trade association representing over 450 commercial and industrial contractors, suppliers and professional associates. Jennifer oversees the association’s member services, safety and leadership training, communications platforms, and membership development. Jennifer also serves as the Executive Editor for two industry publications, Build Houston Magazine and Texas Merit Shop Journal.
