As Vice President of Construction, Investment & Development, Rob has regional oversight for all construction activity at Midway. Key responsibilities of his include developing strategic initiatives for construction operations and contract management for design and construction companies supporting Midway’s portfolio of new multi-family, office, retail and mixed-use projects. Prior to joining Midway, Rob worked for Senterra in Houston as Vice President of Construction and was responsible for development and construction management services for a variety of signature resort, office, retail and mixed-use projects throughout the Southwestern United States. Rob’s prior experience also includes significant project management work at Hines where he completed more than 2M square feet of ground up high-rise commercial office space in Houston’s CBD. Rob started his career working in Washington, DC as a licensed Architect at Skidmore Owings and Merrill. Rob holds a Bachelor degree and Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University. He is a former member of the Mayor’s Green Building Council and a former Board Director for the Washington Avenue Developers Association. Rob has served on other community-based and private not-for-profit Boards in California and Texas.

David Rasch is a Houston native who has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years. He enjoys the high-activity, fast-paced style of construction management and feels tremendous accomplishment when his projects reach completion. During his tenure at Harvey Cleary, David has had the opportunity to work on the teams that erected several of our most notable projects, including Sugar Land Town Square, Anadarko Tower, and the Woodlands Waterway.

While working in a variety of market sectors, everything from hospitality to commercial office buildings to warehouses, David has learned the importance of perseverance. He believes that all projects have their own unique challenges, but with a good owner, designer, and construction team, most of these challenges can be overcome. David is also passionate about his community and has served as a member of the Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association and other community organizations.

When he’s not working on projects or serving his community, David cherishes spending time with his wife of 20 years and their four children. David also enjoys the great outdoors. He loves hunting, fishing, water skiing, and snow skiing in the mountains.

Riddhi Doshi is a Development Manager in the Houston Region at Howard Hughes. She is

responsible for heading new commercial projects in three award-winning master planned

communities– The Woodlands, Bridgeland and The Woodlands Hills. Ms. Doshi is also focused on

master planning of the 925-acre urban core of Bridgeland Central and leads an innovation think tank

focused on building communities of the future.

Ms. Doshi joined Howard Hughes in 2020, and formerly served as Senior Financial Analyst for the

Commercial Development team underwriting and obtaining Board Approvals for new development

projects located within The Woodlands and Bridgeland. Her recent notable projects as developer

include Howard Hughes’ first built-to-rent project and the first mass timber office, not only of

Howard Hughes but also the first in the Greater Houston area. She has over 6 years of real estate

experience; working on acquisitions, dispositions, and development in Texas.

Ms. Doshi received her Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Mumbai and Master of Land

and Property Development from Texas A&M University. She resides in Houston with her college

sweetheart, their son and two adorable rescue dogs.

Kristin Wall serves as Vice President of Construction on Houston’s interiors construction team. While managing both office and industrial build-outs, she facilitates communication between the client and contractors, keeps up-to-date records of the construction process, and remains invested in every job from the bidding stages through project completion.

Kristin brings with her six years of project management experience for a high-end corporate interior general contractor. She has managed large multi-floor tenant projects, capital improvement projects, smaller renovations, and anything in between. Kristin’s extensive knowledge in the general contractor arena assists her in managing hired contractors in order to deliver a seamless product to the client.

Jason M. Cooper is president of Arch-Con Corporation with more than 20 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. Cooper has served on Arch-Con’s executive leadership team since 2010 working in lockstep with Chief Executive Officer Michael G. Scheurich and Chief Financial Officer Geri M. Pacheco, playing a pivotal role in implementing company goals, strategies, plans and policies. He ensures our operations meet the highest standards and is committed to fostering growth and collaboration within our project teams. He oversees monthly, company-wide training sessions and leadership meetings.

Cooper enjoys building and maintaining relationships with key clients, trade partners and stakeholders. Cooper is an active member of professional organizations serving on the Tilt-Up Concrete Association’s board of directors, NAIOP Houston board of directors and the Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals where he served as president during the organization’s 20th anniversary. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction science from Texas A&M University and is recognized as LEED AP.

A recognized construction expert, Cooper has helped lead our Industrial Division amassing a portfolio of more than 120 industrial projects totaling 31 million square feet and $1.5 billion in the last 10 years.

Sam Thigpen, the Founder and CEO of Sapphire Gas Solutions, is a recognized entrepreneurial leader and avid outdoorsman. He is a 2021 winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year® award for the Gulf Coast region and attributes his entrepreneurial success to the field and operations experience gained early in his career. Having been in the natural gas industry for 25 years, Mr. Thigpen has spent two-thirds of that time as an entrepreneur. Since founding, what is now, Sapphire Gas Solutions in 2005, the company has been recognized as an Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company twice.

Mr. Thigpen’s background is one of vast natural gas industry experience. It spans working in natural gas processing, SCADA system installation and maintenance, offshore production service, upstream oil and gas operations, international petrochemical and LNG plant service, natural gas pipeline operations, pipeline and facility construction, gas pipeline auditing, CNG/LNG/RNG fueling station construction, CNG/LNG/RNG virtual pipeline operations, and finally, executive management and strategic leadership.

Outside of business, Sam is an avid offshore fisherman, accomplished sporting clays competitor, and enjoys outdoor activities such as pheasant, dove, and quail hunting. Mr. Thigpen is a life member of MENSA and the International Society for Philosophical Enquiry. He is also a Texas Freemason and a member of the Woodlands Church, in The Woodlands, TX.

David Gross has accumulated extensive experience in the Houston commercial construction industry since 2014, demonstrating a strong track record of success and growth within the field. Throughout his tenure with Corvus, David has steadily advanced through various roles, consistently taking on increasing levels of responsibility. In the fast-paced world of industrial tenant improvements, he is known for delivering quick, accurate budgets that keep deals moving forward. His knowledge of the permitting, inspection, and construction processes across the various municipalities in Greater Houston enables him to efficiently navigate challenges and devise creative solutions. This expertise helps tenants occupy their spaces more quickly and with fewer obstacles.

Cody Schneider is dedicated to representing his clients in construction-related disputes in the commercial real estate, public works, and energy industries. He has successfully represented clients on both the plaintiff and defense side in construction disputes involving multimillion-dollar claims, bringing a detail-oriented approach to complex matters.

Cody regularly represents owners, developers, contractors, suppliers, and governmental entities in a broad range of matters in prelitigation disputes, arbitrations, and lawsuits in both state and federal courts. Specifically, Cody has represented clients in disputes involving claims for breach of contract, breach of warranty, construction defects, fraud, negligence, differing site conditions, pass-through claims, change order claims, extra time and money, delays, loss of productivity, liquidated damages, fund trapping and retainage, as well as lien and bond claims.

Additionally, Cody has transactional experience involving pre-construction contract negotiations, crane swing easements, as well as amendments to agreements following the commencement of construction and post-construction, including drafting provisions involving warranties, bonds, indemnifications, and releases, among others. Cody is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

As CIVE®’s President & CEO, Mr. Domloj has over 20 years of experience in Civil & Structural

Engineering, Construction Management and Design. Mr. Domloj has driven the company's growth

starting from a small engineering consulting firm to its existing state of being a Design Build firm,

providing top-down design, engineering and construction services to Commercial, Industrial and

Community sectors. He is now responsible for developing, designing, coordinating, reviewing and

evaluating projects and ongoing work of the engineering and construction division at CIVE.

Under his leadership, the company has expanded into international markets by establishing presence in

Doha, Qatar, while also establishing CIVE Ready Mix in Houston and A2Z Building Material in Dubai, UAE

as part of the company’s long-term vision. CIVE continues to receive recognition and accolades by

independent publishers both at local, regional, and national level.

He has also been appointed by the Mayor of Houston, and Councilman Ed Pollard to serve the Houston

community as member of Board of Directors to TIRZ #1 - a redevelopment initiative by the Houston City

Council.

Bill Gilmer is Director of the Institute for Regional Forecasting (IRF) at the University of Houston's Bauer College of Business. The Institute monitors the Houston and Gulf Coast business cycle, analyzing how oil markets, the national economy, and global expansion influence the regional economy. Gilmer is also appointed as an inaugural University of Houston Energy Fellow.

Before joining the Institute, Gilmer served the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas for 23 years, retiring from the bank as a Senior Economist and Vice President. He joined the Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas as a senior economist in 1989, focusing on energy markets and regional growth. He co-managed the 11th District's regional economic analysis from 2004-2012, and was editor of two of the bank's regional publications. Gilmer's work on the Texas economy has been recognized in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and Forbes.

Gilmer also served the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas as the officer in charge of the El Paso Branch from 2003-2012, overseeing Federal Reserve operations in West Texas and New Mexico. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas in 1989, he held the principal economic forecasting position at the Tennessee Valley Authority. He also worked as a research economist at the Institute for Energy Analysis in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and at the Institute for Defense Analysis in Arlington, Virginia.

Gilmer was an intern in the Texas Governor's office while finishing graduate school, and spent 1987-88 as a Visiting Research Professor at Ball State University in Muncie Indiana.

He was born in Amarillo, Texas, and grew up in El Paso where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Texas at El Paso. Gilmer later earned a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Texas at Austin.

As President of Boxer Property Management Corporation, Justin Segal oversees operations, marketing, leasing, and technology for a portfolio of commercial property across the country. Justin takes the lead on analytics, enterprise data and process engineering. Thanks to his contributions, Justin was instrumental in the creation of the company's reputation as a national leader when it comes to the use of tech for designing, implementing, managing and supporting business decisions, operations and goals.

Justin is associated with a number of affiliated entities, acting as director or principal. Among them are Boxer Finance (commercial real estate lending), CasAlegria (residential sales and lending) and Tidewell Energy (natural gas). Before joining Boxer, Mr. Segal founded a real estate financial accounting software company, Stemmons Software. He also spent several years offering counsel to early-stage venture-funded startups in Silicon Valley.

Justin serves on the boards of the RealComm CIO Advisory Council, the Houston Education Research Consortium, the Governing Body of the Houston CIO Leadership and YES Prep Public Schools, where he chairs the Technology & Operations Committee. He is also a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, which manages the Webby Awards. Justin attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a Bachelors. He received a Juris Doctor from the New York University School Law.
