After founding Rockstar Capital in March 2011, Robert has since directed the growth of Rockstar Capital’s managed portfolio to 21 apartment communities with a total of 3,762 rental units. Since 2011, he has directed the underwriting, acquisition, and management of 30 apartment communities consisting of more than 5,243 rental units. On top of running an award-winning business, Robert holds an Engineering Degree from Texas A&M and is the only person to have won the National Apartment Association Independent Rental Owner of the Year twice. Robert shares a passion for soccer with his two boys, Ryan and Conner, and enjoys supporting their daily efforts in local club soccer.

Jordan Brooks is a Market Analyst at ALN Apartment Data, Inc. His efforts focus on integrating public datasets with ALN’s market data to develop actionable insights. In addition to speaking at affiliates around the country, Brooks writes ALN’s monthly newsletter analyzing various aspects of industry performance and contributes monthly to multiple multifamily publications. He earned a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in Business Analytics.

A graduate of the University of North Texas with degrees in Psychology and History, Ian is a multifamily industry veteran and a masterclass in training and operational excellence. Most recently, Ian was Chief Operation Officer at Allied Orion (26,000 units). Other leadership experience includes: Area Vice President at Morgan Properties (14,000 units) and Director of Operations at AIMCO (12,000 units). Ian sits on the Board of Directors for both HAA and TAA, assists in writing the exams for NAA’s Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), and has worked both in multifamily operation and investor relations.

Jamie Mullin

Jamie Mullin is a Managing Partner at LMI Capital with over 21 years of experience in sales, finance, and

project management. Jamie is primarily responsible for sourcing debt, mezzanine, and equity for all

commercial property types including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and self‐storage. Additionally,

he has formed strong relationships with capital sources including local and national banks, life insurance

companies, CMBS lenders, agencies, pension funds, and private equity firms.

Previously, Jamie worked in sales at CBeyond Communications where he managed the top sales team in

the company. Prior to that, he was at Hewitt Associates managing projects for multiple national clients

including Continental Airlines, Consolidated Natural Gas, and Stanley Works.

Jamie holds a BBA from The University of Texas.

Sam Morris

Sam joined Team Rockstar in February of 2019. He has a direct relationship with Rockstar Capital’s investors and manages asset funding. In addition, he focuses on the real estate portfolio to continue to enhance returns and efficiencies. A 2001 graduate from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, Sam earned degrees in business management as well as banking and finance. Before Rockstar, Sam was a corporate banker for 18 years in Houston and has been involved in approximately a billion dollars in real estate transactions. Sam has been married for over 15 years and has four children. He loves to be involved with his children’s sports activities and coaches’ basketball and football. He has sat on the board at non-profits and has been an avid real estate investor since 2008. Sam’s Favorite Saying: “I find the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have” - Thomas Jefferson.

Kim Schell

Kim was born in Flushing, New York and come from many generations of New Yorkers. It was a culture shock when she first moved to Houston, Texas in the late 70's but can now say Y'all with the best of them. Kim graduated from the University of Houston with a BBA in Marketing and has worked in media her entire life. Kim played and coached soccer for many years and even spent a summer in England playing in tournaments. The oldest of three girls, she now has two sons (the first born Texans in her family), a husband and three male rescue dogs.
