David Hightower presently serves as Executive Vice President at Midway Companies. He has been involved in the ownership, development and/or management of over 6,000 acres of commercial, residential and agricultural land investments and developments. He has primary responsibility for marketing, sales, project planning and development activities for the firm’s real estate assets, as well as new investment acquisitions. He is also responsible for regulatory approvals and other governmental related activities.

He is active in various community and civic activities, and is presently serving on the boards and committees of several organizations that deal with issues affecting the real estate industry and overall community development, including the West Houston Association, the Urban Land Institute – Houston District Council, the Greater Houston Partnership’s Real Estate Advisory Committee and the Houston Real Estate Council.

Mr. Hightower is a member of a number of other real estate-related organizations including: the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute , NAIOP – The Commercial Real Estate Development Association, Counselors of Real Estate, Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, and Houston Association of Realtors. He has represented several of these organizations in serving on a number of City and County committees addressing a wide range of issues impacting the real estate industry.

He is also a founding director and current President of Harris County Improvement District No. 4 (The Energy Corridor District).

Mr. Hightower has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) designations and is a licensed real estate broker and licensed professional engineer .

He is a life member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and has served on several committees. And, he is a member and past vice president of the Leadership Houston Association.

Maryanne Maldonado is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Houston Technology Center. In this capacity, Mrs. Maldonado oversees the client services, marketing, offsite campus’, and general event operations of the organization and leads the team to provide strategic, tactical, and operational guidance, as well as investment-related advice, to early-stage companies developing innovative technologies with applications in the Energy, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Nanotechnology and Aerospace.

Prior to joining HTC, Ms. Maldonado presided as Head of Trade and Investment and Head of the International Energy Team for UK Trade and Investment, based in Houston. Prior to working with the United Kingdom, Ms. Maldonado served as Trade Commissioner for the Canadian Consulate-Houston, following several operational and regulatory positions with oil and gas companies. A native of North Carolina, Ms. Maldonado holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Business Management from LeTourneau University in Longview City, Texas.

Jessica's practice focuses on public finance, urban development law and local government regulation. Jessica regularly works with special purpose districts whose chief purpose is providing water, sewer, drainage, road and recreational facilities, such as municipal utility districts and municipal management districts. Jessica also represents cities and developers in connection with the creation and operation of tax increment reinvestment zones, local government corporations, municipal management districts, and other financing mechanisms used to facilitate urban development and renewal activities and the financing of public works and infrastructure. Jessica has experience working with private developers to structure development agreements and utility agreements with cities and other local government entities for public participation in commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

As President and CEO of Colvill Office Properties, Chip Colvill is responsible for directing leasing and marketing of a 21-million-square-foot portfolio of Class A office properties located in Houston and Dallas, Texas. Mr. Colvill is an industry veteran in the real estate market with over 31 years of experience, having begun his career in 1984. Prior to forming Colvill Office Properties in 2001, Mr. Colvill worked for numerous institutional real estate firms, including Cushman Realty Corporation, Trammell Crow

Company, JMB Properties Company, Heitman, TrizecHahn, and Tishman Speyer Properties. Mr. Colvill has completed over 15 million square feet of lease transactions during his career in directing the leasing and marketing of some of Houston’s most iconic office developments, including 609 Main, 600 Travis, 1100 Louisiana, One Shell Plaza, 811 Louisiana, 1001 Fannin, 717 Texas, CityWestPlace, San Felipe Plaza, CityCentre, BLVD PLACE, the Galleria Office Towers, and Chase Tower (Dallas).

Aaron Thielhorn serves as a Managing Director for Trammell Crow Company where he oversees the firm’s office and mixed-use development and investment initiatives in the Houston region. Additionally, Aaron supports the Austin business unit by providing strategy and execution assistance for urban projects, including the Thomas C. Green Water Treatment Plant redevelopment, a 2.3 million square foot urban mixed-use development. In this role, Aaron provides leadership to the TCC team in the planning, design, finance, leasing, development, and operations of commercial properties.

Aaron specializes in the development and acquisition of Class A office buildings. During his tenure at TCC, he has been responsible for the execution of 7.1 million square feet of office and mixed use development projects with a total capitalized value of 2.4 billion.

Aaron began his career with TCC in 1999 as a Financial Analyst. From 2000-2003, he was a member of the Capital Markets Group where he participated in the marketing and disposition of 5.8 million square feet of institutional office, industrial, and retail investment properties. In 2003, he joined the Development and Investment team in his current role, and was named a Principal in the firm in 2006.

Kevin Wyatt is a Senior Vice President of Lincoln Property Company. Kevin has over twenty-six years of diversified professional experience in commercial real estate. His primary responsibility includes leasing for a variety of institutional third party managed real estate assets including high and low rise commercial office buildings, retail, service centers/warehouse facilities and industrial parks totaling nearly one million square feet.

In his 26 years of experience, he has represented major corporate clients, including ING Baring, MetLife, Manufacturers Life, New York Life, Realty Financial Partners, and Harbert Financial. Notable leases in his career include a 700,000 SF lease for Dynegy Inc., a 235,000 SF corporate headquarter consolidation for Exterran (the NAIOP “Deal of the Year”), a 139,083 SF lease for Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, a 121,000 SF lease with Wells Fargo Bank and a 101,600 SF lease for Targa Resources.
