Ryan McCord joined McCord in 2003 and has served as President since 2008. Founded in 1973, McCord is a leader in commercial real estate and has a great track record of success in urban infill and green field development. Since joining MDI, Ryan has led more than three-quarters of a billion dollars of transactions in office, retail, multi-family, condo, bond, and land throughout Texas and across the country. Today, Ryan’s focus is on developing Generation Park, the newest and largest master planned economic center in Houston. Located on Beltway 8 in the Lake Houston area, over $500MM / 2MM SF of Office, Retail, Civic, and Industrial have been constructed in Generation Park since breaking ground in 2014. Hospitality and Multi-family are set to start construction in 2017. At 4,000 acres Generation Park is by far the largest contiguous property on Beltway 8, has the most frontage (2.5 miles) and is the closest to Downtown, both airports, all major sporting venues, and the Texas Medical Center. McCord takes seriously the stewardship owed to such a significant development opportunity in the Greater Houston Area and is focused on creating the greatest possible value for the entire region. Prior to joining McCord, Ryan served as Risk Manager for GE Capital Real Estate in Tokyo and participated in over $2 billion of equity and debt transactions in Japan, Taiwan, China, Korea and the Czech Republic. Ryan holds a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and currently serves on the board of the Herman Park Conservancy.

Michael G. Scheurich’s passion for construction originated with a love of architecture and how buildings are designed. After growing up in the small town of Beaumont, Texas, he entered the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University with a vision to become an architect, quickly realizing he wanted to build. This led him to obtain his bachelor’s degree in construction science from Texas A&M University. His construction career began in Dallas and continued in Houston, where he served for three of the nation’s top 20 general contractors. This was the incubation period for Scheurich’s vision to launch his own construction company. Scheurich understood that, to achieve this entrepreneurial dream, he needed more than a degree in the science of how to build. He also needed to understand the science of how to operate a company, so he obtained a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. With an MBA in tow, he established Arch-Con Corporation in 2000 as a resource for the local commercial real estate community in the areas of office and industrial design-build construction. Today, the business also operates in the markets of retail, healthcare, corporate interiors, community, hospitality and multifamily construction. The company has offices in Houston, Dallas, Austin and Denver with more than 200 employees and an annual revenue of more than $500 million. Additionally, Scheurich utilizes his design and construction relationships to team with strategic partners to develop high-quality assets. Arch-Con’s headquarters was developed by Scheurich and constructed by Arch-Con. He is experienced in leveraging the latest, cost-efficient technologies and strives to stay on the cutting edge of the industry. Scheurich serves on the Greater Houston Partnership Board of Directors, the National NAIOP Forum, the University of St. Thomas Buildings and Grounds Committee, and the Annunciation Orthodox School Building and Grounds Committee. He recently served on the Wallis State Bank Board of Directors, served nine years on the Houston NAIOP Board of Directors, and three years on the National NAIOP Board of Directors. He donates his time and resources to vital organizations including Hermann Park Conservancy, SEARCH Homeless Services, Bo's Place, St. Anne Catholic Community, Christian Community Services Center, among others.

Frank Hartmann is a Senior Account Executive with Honest Buildings, a purpose-built platform for real estate owners to collaboratively track project costs, intelligently level bids and generate portfolio-wide insights. In his real estate career, more recently with CBRE, Frank has executed over 2 million square feet of transactions valued at more than $450.5 million. Frank received his B.A. in Economics from Loyola University of Chicago and an M.B.A. from Chicago Booth.

Acho Azuike manages DC Partners' real estate development and investment activities including compliance with all EB-5 Program requirements. Mr. Azuike has over 12 years of experience in the real estate industry with experiences ranging from real estate finance to real estate development. He graduated from The University of Texas with BA in Economics and received his MBA from Rice University Jones Graduate School of Business.

Jim Carman is President of the Houston region at The Howard Hughes Corporation. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of MPC Commercial Development. He joined the company in August 2012 to oversee vertical development on projects located within The Woodlands and Bridgeland, both master planned communities in the Houston area. Mr. Carman was responsible for leading multiple teams in the development of the first phase of Hughes Landing, Houston's premier mixed-use urban center on Lake Woodlands, taking the 66-acre project from conception to completion within three years. Prior to The Howard Hughes Corporation, Mr. Carman worked on the mixed-use project Tivoli Village at Queensridge as well as all development projects located within the 70-acre Hughes Center, a mixed-use master planned property in Las Vegas. Previously, Mr. Carman served as Project Manager for the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, a $500 million resort complex consisting of seven restaurants, 365 keys, 85 luxury condominiums, and a golf course designed by Greg Norman. Before moving overseas to manage the Ritz-Carlton project, he worked with The Haskell Company, a design-build contractor based in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Carman was part of the joint-venture team that constructed the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, a $370 million performance complex in the heart of downtown Miami, hosting the Florida Grand Opera and Miami City Ballet, as well as other special events. Mr. Carman received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering as well as Master of Engineering in Construction from Texas A&M University.
