Why You Should Attend This Greenville CRE Event

Why This Matters:

Greenville and the Upstate region have seen remarkable growth over the past decade. However, amid periods of uneven activity across the national real estate landscape, certain asset types have not yet matched the region's population and economic expansion. Even so, Greenville remains a compelling market, with continued activity across mixed-use, multifamily, office, and more. This has accompanied sustained interest from both local and national capital pursuing acquisitions and new development opportunities alike.Today's environment is being defined by discipline as underwriting remains a limiting factor, capital remains highly selective, and transaction volume continues to be constrained by pricing and return expectations, rather than a lock of motivation

Despite these headwinds, development and investment activity continue to move forward locally. This event will examine how Greenville's most prominent mixed-use and repositioning projects are being executed - from phasing to placemaking and public-private collaboration - while also providing a clear view into how investors are approaching acquisitions, new development, and strategic hold decisions. Attendees will gain insight into the fundamentals limiting deal flow, the drivers behind current activity, and the risks and opportunities shaping Greenville's next phase of growth.

What You'll Learn:

  • How are Greenville's most impactful mixed-use projects being executed today from a phasing, feasibility, and collaborative perspective?

  • How are developers navigating zoning, entitlements, and municipal coordination to keep major initiatives moving forward?

  • How are recently delivered and under construction mixed-use projects influencing future decision making in the Upstate?

  • What factors are driving buy, build, or hold decisions in Greenville's investment environment today?

  • Which fundamentals continue to limit transaction volume, how are they being overcome, and where are return expectations beginning to realign?

  • How are property performance dynamics contributing to what gets built next in the region?
