Why You Should Attend This Event

Why This Matters:

Over the past several years, Greenville has been listed as one of the fastest growing cities in the US. Commercial real estate activity, and outside investment, have duly followed. With that said, due to financing challenges, and the amount of development attention the market has received, activity has seen, activity has slowed. After an 18 month planning process and with the amount of activity that has taken place as part of Greenville's growth, the Greenville County Council established a Unified Development Ordinance to encourage particluar types of activity in the market.

However, after only a month, the ordinance is being revisited. This event will detail further what comes next from a local policy perspective, the mix of assets that will aid in both financial and project approval success, as well as the overarching development outlook for the region as it continues its evolution. Join Bisnow and our assembled panelists, as we detail the most pressing challenges and opportunities present in the Upstate Real Estate ecosystem as we aim to better position you in search of your next deal.

What You'll Learn:

  • What potential revisions are in consideration for the Greenville County Unified Development Ordinance?

  • To what extent is uncertainty impacting projects in the development pipeline?

  • What mix of assets are going into the latest area developments, and why?

  • Which asset types are best positioned for future development activity in the area?

  • What is the status of Greenville's most ambitious projects, and how will they impact the market moving forward?
