Lorcain Egan is Co-Head of Europe for Starwood. Mr. Egan is responsible for Starwood’s lending platform in Europe and Asia. Between 2013 and 2017 Mr. Egan structured and executed financings whilst working in Capital Markets, supporting Starwood’s equity acquisitions across Europe. Since 2018 Mr. Egan has led Starwood’s lending business in Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining Starwood Capital, Mr. Egan was a Vice President at Barclays Bank where he worked in their Structured Property, Debt Finance team. In this team, Mr. Egan focused on originating real estate debt opportunities for Barclays.

Mr. Egan holds a degree in Law & Economics from the University of Ulster.

Stefan is the Head of Acquisitions & Commercial, Ireland overseeing all transactions and the asset management of the commercial portfolio in Ireland. He joined Kennedy Wilson in 2013 and brings over 24 years and €7 billion of transactions experience in the property industry across all sectors.

Prior to Kennedy Wilson, Stefan was an equity partner in Warren Private, where he managed a €3 billion+ portfolio of commercial assets in the United States, UK, and Europe. Stefan also spent time at CBRE, where he focused on capital markets and office agency. He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and is a member of both the RICS and the SCSI and sits on the Council for ULI Ireland.

Natalie Brennan is the Head of Property Transactions at Aviva Life and Pensions Ireland DAC. She has 20 years’ of Investment agency and asset management experience, and joined the Aviva Ireland Property Team in August 2021. She is responsible for all property transactions including sales, acquisitions and asset management. Previously a Senior Director of Capital Markets, in a leading global commercial property firm. Holds a first class honours degree in Property Valuation & Management from LIT, and a Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI).

Peter is a Managing Director in Hines Ireland where he focuses on new investment acquisitions, development management and investor relations activities. Prior to joining Hines Ireland in 2015, he was a member of the Hines Investment Management Group in London, having joined in 2013. Previously, he worked in Hodes Weill & Associates and in the Real Estate Group of Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking, both in London. Peter holds an LLB from Trinity College, Dublin, and an MSc., Real Estate, CASS Business School, London

Joe is the Managing Director of Duke McCaffrey and is an energetic, hands on, self-motivated

professional Chartered M&E Quantity Surveyor with specific expertise in the cost management of

mechanical and electrical services on technically challenging projects in Data Centre, Hotel and

Leisure, large scale residential and office fit out projects across Ireland, UK and Europe with values of

€500k to €300m+. He has a proven track record in team leadership, organisation, planning and

management, through the implementation of effective strategy, maintaining budgets, excellent

interpersonal skills, quickly developing top-level relationships while working within tight time

constraints to achieve results.

His particular expertise in M&E Services Cost Management is invaluable during the early stages of

projects when a balanced project cost allocation is essential – he supports the validation and

auditing of M&E Services costs during the early project stages and maintains an overarching audit

role on this cost significant element of the project costs throughout the project delivery cycle. He

understands the technical and commercial aspects of projects with a focus on delivering value for

clients throughout the design, procurement and delivery stages.

Joe has been at the forefront in Duke McCaffrey in regard to the implementation of ISO 9001

Accredited project delivery methods with Duke McCaffrey having received full re-accreditation in

April 2022 to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental

Management Systems and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Systems.

Andrew is Head of Real Estate in our Dublin office. He has more than 30 years' experience in Ireland's property market, having worked on some of the largest property transactions in the country.

Andrew has experience working on all types of property development and investment transactions, having particular expertise in forward purchases; joint ventures; institutional portfolio property investment; loan portfolio acquisition; retail investment transactions; multi-family investment transactions; student accommodation investment transactions; nursing home investment transactions; and the use of ICAVs, QIAIFs and limited partnership structures for real estate. He is a regular contributor to national media and speaker at commercial property seminars.

Dan Boyd is a Chartered Surveyor with more than 25 years of real estate experience in both the United States and Ireland. As Head of Occupier Services, he responsible for the delivery of exceptional, innovative and memorable service and amenities across Hibernia’s portfolio of managed properties, and for keeping pace with the evolving trends that impact building design and use. He has extensive experience in the office, retail and residential markets, having worked with a number of leading companies over the years including: Burlington Real Estate, Savills, JLL, Green Property and Spectacor Management Group. Dan is a Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and is a member of the British Council of Offices.

Patrick Phelan is the Managing Director of Ballymore in Ireland – a real estate professional with broad experience in real estate in the UK, Ireland and the US, acquired over a twenty-five year career.

During his tenure, Ballymore has created new headquarters for major corporations and institutions including the Central Bank of Ireland, Microsoft, and the National Treasury Management Agency.

Patrick along with his team were responsible for a forward fund of 435 units in 8th Lock, the last piece of the puzzle in Royal Canal Park in Ashtown, Dublin.

As Manager on the Commercial team at the International WELL Building Institute, Mona Duff supports project teams and clients looking to promote health and well-being in the European market. Mona’s focus is to provide technical solutions and act as a WELL coaching contact for Europe.

Before joining IWBI, Mona worked as a mechanical building services engineer at the global engineering firm Arup. In her role she specialized in sustainable and health focused mechanical design approaches. As one of Ireland’s first WELL APs, Mona worked on numerous WELL-registered projects, bringing sustainability and healthy building design under one umbrella.

Mona is a Chartered Engineer with CIBSE and Engineers Ireland and also holds WELL AP, LEED AP in Building Design and Construction, and Home Performance Index Assessor qualifications. She is also a profound energy modeller in IES.

Combining her background in mechanical design, energy simulation and sustainability, Mona is keen to support the European market to design sustainable and health focused buildings and communities.

and Arbitration. Damien is passionate about facilitating business growth and has a track record of

Ireland.

Stephen Grant is a Director and leads Turner & Townsend’s Project Management team in Dublin. He has more than 15 years’ experience both as a consultant Project Manager and as a Client in the UK and Ireland. He has delivered numerous high-end fit-out projects for many global corporations, including state-of-the-art EMEA Headquarters in Dublin for some of the world’s largest technology companies. Stephen understands the nuances of providing a functional workspace, moving from the traditional office to a more hybrid workspace in order to facilitate collaboration.

Stephen is experienced in establishing project teams, reporting mechanisms and formats, monitoring budget and programme, scheduling / critical path & earned value analysis, risk management / mitigation, management of consultants, sub-consultants, contractors and specialists / client direct procured contractors through all stages of the project life cycle. He has advised on the full lifecycle delivery of large-scale £multi-million commercial and CAPEX projects, from initial concept, design, procurement and planning, through to execution and delivery.

Giovanna brings over 15 years’ experience working in business development and sustainability to IWBI. Her career started with advising FTSE 500 companies on CSR strategies and reporting before most recently becoming Global Business Development Director of her own consultancy supporting clients in leading market penetration, incorporating ESG solutions, and driving business growth. Giovanna has an extensive understanding of industry and reporting requirements, having worked closely with organizations around the world to map strategic objectives to leading frameworks including GRI, SASB, CDP and the UN SDGs. In 2020, Giovanna’s leadership was recognized when she was named one of the 10 Most Influential Women in Tech.

In her spare time, Giovanna serves as a volunteer Strategic Senior Advisor for ConnectAID, a humanitarian organization created to support the UN SDGs. Giovanna makes time for health and well-being by hiking with her husband and trying new foods with her son. She lives by the motto, ‘live purposefully and deliver impact’.

Séamus is an Architect & Director with RKD, leading the commercial sector. He has experience bringing large scale commercial projects right through from inception to completion and takes pride in creating incredible new office space in the city. Séamus has thought architecture over a number of years and brings fresh ideas to a new project. Involvement with the Royal Institute of Architects and various statutory groups ensure a keen sense of where the commercial office market is headed in Dublin.
