Pat has nearly 50 years of experience in the hotel industry, having embarked upon his career in 1969 with Ryan Hotels plc. He left Ryan’s Hotel plc in 1989 to join Jurys Hotel Group plc as General Manager of its flagship Dublin hotel, the Ballsbridge Hotel. He was appointed Operations Director and to the Main Board of Jurys Hotel Group plc in 1994 and, subsequently, had responsibility for the integration of the Doyle Hotel Group following the acquisition of that company by Jurys in 1999. In 2000, he became Chief Executive Officer of Jurys Doyle Hotel Group plc, a position he held until 2006. Pat then worked as an independent consultant until August 2007. Pat founded Dalata Hotel Group Ltd in February 2007 and became Chief Executive Officer of the company in August 2007. He is a non-executive director of a number of private companies. His most recent appointment was to the board of IBEC, Irish Business and Employers Confederation in 2017. Pat has held a number of non-executive positions within the hospitality and other industries, including state and public company entities. He was formerly a director of EBS Building Society, Greencore Group plc and Whitfield Private Hospital Waterford. Pat has served as National President of the Irish Hotels Federation, was a Member of the National Tourism Council (Ireland) and a Member of the Irish Tourism Review Group (2003).

Gillian joined Tetrarch in 2014 and is responsible for underwriting all investments to ensure that capital is efficiently and appropriately allocated, and that sufficient returns are generated.

Gillian has over 20 years of investment experience. Previously she was Head of Asset Backed Investments at Cannacord Genuity until 2014 and Managing Director at alternative credit fund ZAIS prior to this.

Gillian has a Bachelor of Commerce International degree from University College Dublin and RWTH, Germany and is CIMA qualified.

Alan Long is the head of Hotels for AIB Corporate Banking with responsibility for managing and supporting a portfolio of premier Hotel owner-operators across a number of geographies including Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US.

The portfolio includes over 100 hotels with total loan exposure totalling more than €1bn. Alan has extensive professional services experience both domestically and internationally with both AIB and KPMG across a range of sectors.

Matt Ryan is from Dublin and completed his education in UCD studying a BA International in French

and Spanish.

Following completion of his studies, Matt set up Press Up Entertainment Group with business

partner Paddy McKillen Jnr. Their first foray into the hospitality business was in 2017 with the

expansion of the Captain Americas brand to Tallaght, and has continued to grow, with 42 businesses

spanning hotels, restaurants, bars and high end cinemas now in operation.

The group has 1600 employees and will open eight new businesses in 2019. Matt is the COO for the

Press Up Entertainment Group.

He is also a co-founder and Director of Oakmount Developments, which has seen the creation of

some of Ireland’s most iconic buildings over the last five years. Matt is married to Emma with one

son called Harry, with another expected soon! He is also a passionate farmer in his spare time.

Eric is SACO Property Group's Managing Director in addition to Locke's Creative Director. Eric also oversees SPG’s Pan-European / UK development pipeline. Prior to joining SACO, Eric was co-founder and Managing Director of Union Hanover Securities, Urban Villa and HOAX Hostels where he oversaw a £500mil development pipeline and the creation of each respective brand.

Andrew Fowler

Prior to their recent sale to Brookfield Asset Management, Andrew joined Oaktree Capital Management's serviced apartment platform, to reposition their portfolio and to create and launch a new lifestyle aparthotel concept. As Co-Founder (Locke) and Acquisitions Director SACO he spearheads strategic growth throughout Europe.

Previously Andrew founded & co-created the Serviced Apartment concept Urban Villa where he directed brand and operational platform development as well as acquisitions.

Andrew has been involved in the serviced apartment industry since 2007 and was previous previously a Director of StayCity Serviced Apartments, where he was an instrumental figure in the establishment and the development of a leading European serviced apartment company.

Joost Vermeulen

Regional Director, UK, Ireland, Nordics & Benelux

As Booking.com’s Regional Director UK, Ireland, Nordics & Benelux, Joost is responsible for leading the local Partner Services teams that service, support and grow business for Booking.com’s many property partners, as well as driving business development in new markets throughout the region. He oversees 12 offices that focus on nurturing and building relationships with existing and new partners across all accommodation categories including everything from apartments, hotels and guesthouses to villas, boats and even igloos.

Joost started his career at Booking.com in 2008 as an Account Manager for Belgium based out of Booking.com’s headquarters in Amsterdam. After five years of managing teams in various roles across Belgium and the Netherlands, he relocated to Dubai to lead the business in the Middle East & Africa as Regional Manager. In July 2018, he moved into his current role based in London, UK.

Before joining Booking.com, Joost worked in revenue management for several local hotel chains in the Netherlands. He is fluent in Dutch and English.

Andrew Bradley

Soon after qualifying as a designer at the NCAD, Andrew realised that his interests lay

in assisting companies realise the potential of design and set out on a career in brand

consultancy. His company Bradley Brand specialises in working with owner-managed

companies to assist them realised the commercial potential of a strong brand in

delivering a competitive advantage and customer loyalty. He believes that a business’s

reputation is build on customer experience. Brand defines it. Design creates it.

Andrew has extensive experience in the hospitality and property sector and clients

include Adoor, EE Group, Glenlo Abbey, Hunters, Hook & MacDonald, Melcorpo, MHL

Hotel Collection, as well as Applegreen, Keelings, Payzone, Skillnet Ireland and Weir &

Sons. In 2017 he appointed to the Board of the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland.
