Michelle Ang is Director of Corporate Development and Sustainability at Irish Residential Properties REIT PLC, a residential REIT with c. €1.5bn of real estate assets under management. Michelle is a multi-disciplined professional and currently oversees IRES’ sustainability strategy through planning, developing and defining strategic business growth and restructuring initiatives. Before joining IRES Michelle worked at Green REIT plc where she was responsible for a variety of functions over eight years including portfolio management, investor relations, digital strategy, marketing and data & insights. Prior to that, she worked at Savills Ireland where she helped set up the Hotels & Leisure business unit.

Michelle is an Executive MBA candidate at Trinity College Dublin and also holds a Masters in Real Estate and BSc in Business Studies. Michelle is a qualified Chartered Surveyor.

Peter is a Managing Director in Hines Ireland where he focuses on new investment acquisitions, development management and investor relations activities. Prior to joining Hines Ireland in 2015, he was a member of the Hines Investment Management Group in London, having joined in 2013. Previously, he worked in Hodes Weill & Associates and in the Real Estate Group of Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking, both in London. Peter holds an LLB from Trinity College, Dublin, and an MSc., Real Estate, CASS Business School, London

Michele has worked for Colliers for the past 23 years and during that time has brokered some of the most complex investment transactions in the state.

An established industry expert, she has acted as key account manager for major corporate clients entering the Irish market and represents a significant number of International Private Investors active in the marketplace.

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Trinity College Dublin, where my primary research areas are housing markets, urban economics, and economic history. I am particularly interested in long-run housing markets, in order to better understand current housing experiences such as rapidly increasing housing costs in many high-income cities. In addition, I am a Research Associate at the Spatial Economics Research Centre in LSE and author of the Daft.ie Reports on Ireland’s sale and rental housing markets. I am also a Board member of the HEA, Honorary Secretary of SSISI, and on the organising committee of DEW.

I am an active contributor to the policy debate, especially on the topic housing in Ireland. Most of the articles I publish either in my weekly column for the Sunday Independent or as commentaries for the Daft.ie Report are subsequently archived here. With the Trinity Online Education team, I also run an online course in the Economics of the Property Market. The course is aimed both at professionals, including policymakers, who work day-to-day with housing but who may not have the economics background, and at the general public.

Lily is Head of Acquisitions - UK at Blue Coast Capital. Prior to that, Lily was Managing Director responsible for acquisitions and asset management across the UK and Ireland at MARK, and Managing Director at Vanke where she established its UK platform. Previously, she worked at UBS in London across various UK and Pan European real estate funds, and at Ascendas, Singapore’s first and largest industrial REIT, in Shanghai. Lily has a B.S. and B.A. from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Emily advises on all aspects of the acquisition, disposal, leasing and financing of commercial property. She has quickly developed an impressively strong and diverse client portfolio as well as the respect of clients, estate agents and other key players in the real estate industry in Ireland. She advises a broad range of clients including investors, insolvency practitioners, multi-national corporations, statutory bodies, financial institutions and charitable bodies. Emily also provides specialist advice to the corporate, banking, litigation and insolvency teams.

Michael Hynes founded Evara Ireland with Eddie Byrne in October 2019. Having previously worked with Hudson Advisors Ireland, NAMA and Grattan Property, Michael has over 20 years’ experience in the Irish real estate sector. With a portfolio under management of 9,000 residential units and 95,000 sqm of commercial space, Quintain Ireland is now one of the largest mixed-use developers in Ireland.

Krystyna has over 35 years of experience in Project Management and Building Surveying. In that time, she has worked in private practices and local government and has been involved in various project types for many clients.

Krystyna came to Ireland in 1994 to head up the Building Surveying Department for Hamilton Osborne King (now Savills) in Dublin. She established her practice, KRA Visionary Project Partners, in 2000, and the company has since become well-established and highly regarded in building surveying and project management.

Following a period of upskilling in Sustainability, Management Krystyna co-founded a new company, KRA Renewables, in 2018. KRA Renewables is quickly becoming a key player in Ireland's renewable energy and energy efficiency sector and continues to see strong growth in 2022.

Krystyna's passion for sustainability, particularly within the built environment and biodiversity, sees her increasingly focusing on these areas; she has recently become a LEED Accredited Professional, and is a founding member of the SCSI working group on sustainability and was recently made a Director of the Irish Green Building Council.

Mark Faithfull is the Dublin correspondent for Bisnow and a real estate and retail specialist, editing and contributing to international publications including Forbes, The Economist, MIPIM News, MAPIC News, World Retail Congress and the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe. He covers trends in retail and property and regularly speaks and moderates at events around Europe.

Anthony McCarthy is an Owner/Director of Cogent Associates, a leading Project & Cost Management consultancy firm based in Dublin and of Cogent Construction Management Limited, a boutique construction management services provider. Anthony leads and directs the delivery of Project Management and Construction Management

consultancy commissions and acts as Project Director to a variety of public and private sector Clients, on building and civil engineering projects.

With over 30 years industry experience, Anthony has a reputation as a highly knowledgeable

and effective project manager and provides leadership to public and private sector clients

across many sectors. He has extensive experience of the planning and development process

and is an expert in assembling project teams to deliver complex major projects.

During his career, he led the successful delivery of some of Ireland’s most prominent, award-

winning projects including the Cork School of Music, the Central Bank of Ireland’s

Headquarters and Google’s EMEA Headquarters. He is currently advising the Land

Development Agency on three residential projects of >1,300nr units and Sport Ireland on the

country’s first indoor velodrome facility at the Blanchardstown sport campus.

Anthony is a member of the Chartered member of the Association of Project Management,

holds a Masters in Construction Project Management and is a Risk Management and Value

Management Facilitator.

Anthony is a keen long distance runner with a fledgling interest in triathlons.

Joined BGO in 2015 and set up the Irish lending business which is one of the largest alternative lenders in the market today. Prior to BGO I worked for Tishman Speyer. Graduated from Trinity College Dublin and Cambridge University

Suzie Nolan is Head of Property at Aviva Life and Pensions Ireland DAC. She is an award-winning

property fund manager, taking home the Women in Finance Fund Manager of the Year award in

2019, and with the property fund itself receiving numerous accolades, both locally and

internationally. She is responsible for Aviva’s €620m commercial property fund, overseeing portfolio

strategy, performance, liquidity and governance. Suzie has worked in property investment for 16

years, managing property funds with holdings in Ireland, the UK, Europe and America. Prior to

working in property, Suzie was an auditor with KPMG.

In September 2022, Suzie was ranked 10 th in the Global Heroes Top 100 Future Leaders List. She is

co-Chair of Aviva’s Gender Balance Committee, an active participant on Aviva’s Diversity, Equity &

Inclusion Committee and is the Company’s Council Member of the 30% Club.

Peter Browne is Head of Business Development at the multi-award-winning mac-group, one of Ireland’s largest

construction companies. A Chartered Construction Manager Peter has over twenty years’ experience in the

construction & real estate sectors. He is responsible for mac’s profitable growth across their specialist sectors of

logistics and commercial interiors. Peter is also an advocate and expert in Modern Methods of Construction

(MMC) having previously spent 15 years with The McAvoy Group expanding their offering across the

healthcare, education, commercial and aviation sectors. Peter is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building

and currently sits on the CIF’s MMC Working Group and the RIAI’s DfMA Consulting Group.
