Having graduated with a degree in Housing from the University of Ulster at Magee, a Diploma in Management and Chartered Membership of the CIH she has worked both north & south of the border and has over 25 years’ experience in the sector. This experience is mainly in the delivery of new homes, while working in partnership with a range of stakeholders & through various procurement options. Bronagh has worked with Túath for over 10 years and during this time has seen the Association grow to become the third largest AHB in Ireland.

John brings to the firm over 25 years of International Real Estate experience, including for the last 18 years, participating in Irish real estate asset management and development. John is based in Dublin, Ireland and he is responsible for managing Round Hill’s Irish Development and Investment business.

He has previously worked in real estate asset management and development for Thames Water Property, BAA Lynton and Pillar Property in the U.K. and Treasury Holdings Limited, Harcourt Developments Limited and WK Nowlan Real Estate Advisors in Ireland. In the course of his professional career, John has managed significant real estate development projects, from inception to completion.

John holds a BSc (Hons) Degree from Coventry University and a Diploma in Real Estate from the College of Estate Management, Reading. A Chartered Surveyor, he is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Society of Chartered Surveyors, Ireland and a former Chair of the Society of Chartered Surveyors, Ireland, Planning and Development Division.

John Coleman has been Chief Executive of the Land Development Agency since its inception in September 2018. John previously held senior roles at Ireland’s National Asset Management Agency (NAMA), worked extensively on the set up of its Residential Delivery division and was its Chief Financial Officer. John is a graduate of University College Dublin (BComm) and a chartered accountant (FCA). Prior to joining NAMA in 2011 he worked in banking and accountancy.

John O’Connor is the Chief Executive Officer of the Housing Agency. It is a government

agency that supports and provides services to, among others, local authorities, approved

housing bodies and the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government in the

delivery of housing and housing services; in addition to a range of other services.

John was previously CEO of the Affordable Homes Partnership and Executive Manager in

the Housing and Communities Department of Dublin City Council.

John is a structural engineer with a wide range of experience in both the public and private

sectors. He has extensive experience in the development, provision and direct delivery of

housing, particularly in the areas of social housing, affordable housing and regeneration

projects.

Catherine Keenan

Catherine Keenan has a Degree in Business Studies with the Institute of Public Administration and a

Masters Degree in Business & Leadership from UCD Smurfit Business School. Catherine has gained a

vast range of experience in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, in HR, Corporate Services and

Environment before joining dlr Leisure Services as Chief Executive Officer in 2013.

In 2015, Catherine took up the role of Director of Housing with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County

Council, with an overarching leadership role in all aspects of social housing delivery, management,

maintenance, retrofitting of housing stock, homeless, allocations and welfare. Catherine has been

particularly involved in progressing the Enniskerry Road pilot cost rental scheme with the Housing

Agency, Respond and Tuath Housing, and the Housing Finance Agency.  She has been pivotal in

progressing the largest social and affordable scheme in the Country at Shanganagh in Shankill, in

partnership with the Land Development Agency.

John Downey

John Downey is the Managing Director of DOWNEY, a leading multi-disciplinary practice of Town Planners, Architects, Landscape Architects and Project Managers. John is a chartered town planner with over 25 years’ experience in planning & development within both the private and public sectors providing multi-disciplinary services to all areas within the property market from feasibility right through to on-site completion.

John is a specialist in development critiques, planning procedures and the procurement of all planning applications through the various planning processes including S.34 applications, SID applications, and the SHD (Strategic Housing Development) procedure. He has lectured in both the School of Planning and the School of Real Estate in DIT, Dublin on all planning matters.

Through his firm based in Merrion Square, John has represented several large housebuilders, development funds, estate agents, and legal firms, whilst also doing work for planning authorities including Housing Strategies including recently Laois CC and Galway CC.

He has also been heavily involved within the profession itself within advisory roles to Government including advising The Oireachtas (2014) and The Department of Finance (2015). He was part of the Advisory Group for the National Planning Framework (2017) and was on the expert panel for the formulation of the Design Standards for New Apartments - Guidelines for Planning Authorities (March 2018).

He is currently a serving Board Member on the ECTP-CEU (European Council of Spatial Planners) and was a former Chair of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Ireland, in addition to being the first Irish delegate elected as a corporate member of the General Assembly of the Royal Town Planning Institute in London.

Maxime Laroussi

Maxime studied architecture at the EAG Grenoble, then graduated from PUC Campinas, Brazil and UCD, Dublin with a B.Arch. He has lived and worked as an architect in various countries including the UK, France, and Brazil. Having founded and led Architecture Republic in Dublin in 2005, Maxime went on to co-found Urban Agency in 2013 with offices in Dublin, Copenhagen and Lyon. He was president of the Architectural Association of Ireland from 2005-2006 and currently teaches architecture and urban design at the School of Architecture University Limerick. Maxime has received numerous awards for excellence in architectural design including numerous AAI Awards, Irish Concrete Society Award and a nomination for the prestigious Mies Van Der Rohe Awards in 2011 and 2018 as well as being awarded as one of top 40 European architects under 40 by the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Paddy Smyth is a Partner in Fieldfisher LLP's Real Estate team. He is a recognised expert in commercial property and real estate finance with a particular focus on residential development. Prior to joining Fieldfisher, Paddy was a member of the legal department of the National Asset Management Agency and was responsible for the management of over 30 contentious NAMA connections. As part of a very successful multi-disciplinary team, Paddy acted on a number of site resolution plans resulting in the successful sale of a number of former ghost estate housing units throughout Ireland to local authorities and AHBs.

Paddy is passionate about the delivery of social and affordable housing in Ireland. He and the team at Fieldfisher regularly act for developers, funders and local authorities in transactions at all stages of the housing delivery process from land acquisition, development funding and construction through to delivery to Local Authorities and AHBs.

Prior to joining Irish Life, Duncan was the Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets of Lisney, Ireland’s largest independent property agency firm with 140 people across nine offices. Prior to that he worked with CBRE in its City of London office in the UK.
