Kenneth Monfort is a fifth-generation Colorado business owner committed to enriching the lives of all Coloradans. As owner and CEO of Monfort Companies, Kenneth invests in ventures and develops commercial properties that serve as economic drivers and growth engines for both rural and urban communities.

Born in Greeley, Kenneth has deep roots in Colorado and is committed to building a next-generation company that honors his family’s legacy in agriculture, real estate and energy.

Kenneth began his career developing commercial real estate in rural communities throughout the Colorado region with the goal of creating local gathering places that would spur economic growth to create jobs and sales tax revenue. In 2017, he started expanding the company’s portfolio to include highly visible properties near Coors Field in the heart of Denver’s LoDo neighborhood. Leveraging this ‘final frontier’ in Downtown Denver, Kenneth’s goal is to create a world-class stadium district with year-round activation that appeals to audiences of all ages.

Kenneth graduated from the University of Denver with degrees in finance and real estate. Passionate about helping other entrepreneurs, Kenneth is co-founder of the Denver Angels investment group and Equity Capital Groupe (a YPO-like organization). He is also a partner at local private equity firm, Blake Street Partners.

As a business and civic leader, Kenneth believes in creating strong public/private partnerships to catalyze sustainable economic growth in Colorado. He currently serves as a board member of the Colorado Business Roundtable, the University of Denver Advancement Committee, the Colorado Restaurant Association, the Colorado Women’s Alliance, the Mile High Five Foundation, and is the Capital Campaign Chair for the Butterfly Pavilion.

Kenneth is also deeply involved with the National Western Stock Show, the Denver Energy Network, Colorado Concern, the Downtown Denver Partnership, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Denver Ballpark Neighborhood Association and the Denver Athletic Club.

In addition to his efforts to drive economic growth, Kenneth is passionate about addressing homelessness and supporting youth in Colorado. He volunteers for the Stronger Cord program at the Denver Rescue Mission and the YESS Children’s Institute within Denver Public Schools. He also serves on the board for the Denver Active 20-30 Children's Foundation, which annually raises and grants over $1.5 million to local children’s charities.

Ashley’s Native American heritage has influenced the way she approaches projects and builds teams. Diversity in thought generates stronger results, better ideas and problem solving, and it is far more fun than trying to working alone. The foundation of her career was built in the design world as a landscape architect, focused on luxury resort projects. It is here that she learned from the best, about the importance of delivering positive and memorable customer experiences-to stand out from the competition and drive loyalty.

Ryan Good has been a driving force in Denver’s real estate industry for

more than 17 years. As Managing Partner of Good Investment Partners,

Ryan provides the vision for the firm’s leadership and operational teams

while building strategic partnerships with investors and key stakeholders.

Known for his ability to align the right opportunities with the right

partners, he leverages longstanding relationships to source opportunities

in various market sectors and segments.

Prior to founding Good Investment Partners, Ryan served as Executive Vice

President and Partner for the largest privately held real estate firm in

Denver. He was instrumental in the significant growth of the company and

ultimately disposition of all assets that led to multiple record-setting sales.

Through this process, Ryan developed a deep understanding of what

next-generation businesses need to grow and succeed.

Over his career, Ryan has been involved in more than 1,000 real

estate transactions valued at over $1.5 billion dollars.

Ray Picone joined BWE as a Senior Vice President in 2024 where he specializes in providing a broad range of financing solutions for commercial real estate assets with a focus on multifamily properties. Ray has over 10 years’ experience in commercial real estate, involving direct origination of GSE backed mortgages, brokering bridge and bank loans, as well as working with correspondent life companies. Additionally, Ray has successfully structured and originated GSE compliant preferred equity as well as provided other creative capital stack solutions to serve as a complete CRE advisor for his clients.

Prior to joining BWE, Ray was at Colliers Mortgage, Key Bank, and JLL; with all rolls focused toward the origination of various loan products for commercial real estate or in portfolio management. Through his experience, he has been able to understand the credit environments for multiple capital sources to best serve his client’s needs in an ever-changing capital markets environment.

You don’t so much see Val Williams as hear her first: a loud laugh, often followed by clapping. Her positive approach to life mirrors her approach to clients: what does each person need, want, must share, care about and how can Val support it? Her philosophy is that we can only understand architecture when we understand the people using it.

Her career has been a delightful romp through two decades of healthcare planning and design, spanning lab and imaging renovations to massive multispecialty clinics and greenfield replacement of critical access hospitals in the Western U.S. Val also has conducted management research on architectural intern engagement, project process and team dynamics, and on relationship building at a project’s inception.

Her background in stand-up and improv comedy proves helpful in the healthcare design field as well as in presenting at major healthcare conferences and events. Stand-up requires a great deal of preparation and thought into the message and means of presentation, while improv necessitates a mix of mindfulness, flexibility, and quick thinking when projects and situations change.

Val brings an appreciation for diverse experiences to the Page Denver office. She moved to the Mile High City in 2000 from Florida, where she received her M. Arch from the University of Florida. Prior to that, she studied architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech and her M.Arch from University of Florida, Val moved to Denver, Colorado in 2000. At Page, Val was reunited with a Healthcare colleague from one of her earliest post-graduate roles.

Bahman Shafa is the CEO and entrepreneurial spirit behind the Focus Group of Companies. With over 30 years experience in real estate acquisition and development, Bahman has grown Focus from a humble street cart into a multi-faceted group specializing in retail, ecommerce, self-storage, flexible workspaces, parking systems, real estate investment, development and property management.

Bahman’s passion for real estate has seen him become an architect of emerging neighborhoods, contributing to the culture and history of premier Downtown Denver locations. Bahman’s portfolio has won accolades such as the 2019 Mayor’s Design Award and he serves the Denver community on the Downtown Business Improvement District Board.

Jon Buerge is the President and Partner at Urban Villages, Inc. In this capacity, Jon is

responsible for operations, real estate development, and strategic positioning for all real estate assets. He

also manages the research and analysis of new company acquisitions and corporate growth strategies. Jon

currently serves as the Chair of the Denver Business Improvement District and is on the Board of Directors

for the LoDo District. He is also a member of Denver’s Public Realm Committee and 16th Street Mall

Redevelopment Steering Committee.

Jon has over 17 years of experience in finance and joined the predecessor company, MVG Development in 2006, which subsequently merged with Confluent in 2015. He is responsible for all financial and accounting aspects of Confluent Development, including investor and banking relations as well as property sales.

Prior to joining Confluent, he held multiple positions in corporate finance and investment banking with a focus on acquisitions and high yield debt financing. Jon worked in the Leveraged Finance group for Bank of America Securities for five years where he participated in structuring over $10 billion worth of financings for leveraged buyouts, M&A transactions, restructuring and refinancing transactions across a broad spectrum of industries.

Jon graduated magna cum laude with a B.B.A in Finance from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.

Dan Feagans is the vice president of Brinkmann Constructors’ Denver office, and has more than two decades of construction management experience. Dan is responsible for all aspects of the performance and the day-to-day operations of the Denver office, and his experience allows him to better appreciate the importance of client advocacy, a Brinkmann Core Value. This includes setting strategic initiatives and execution of our company wide goals and objectives. He works directly with clients to ensure that their projects are given the attention that they deserve while safeguarding that it will be delivered on time and on budget.

Dan received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Missouri-Rolla (now known as Missouri University of Science & Technology). He is a LEED Accredited Professional, has undergone extensive OSHA safety training, and is ICC 2012 certified.

Doug Jamison is an environmental scientist with over 30 years of experience managing environmental

programs and projects. He currently manages the Superfund and Brownfields Unit for the Colorado

Department of Public Health and Environment where he is responsible for overseeing Colorado’s

involvement in environmental investigation and cleanup of Colorado’s 26 Superfund National Priority

List sites.

Mr. Jamison is also responsible for the operation of Colorado’s Brownfields Program including

Colorado’s Voluntary Cleanup Program and State Response Program. These programs provide

brownfields education, outreach, and financial assistance to facilitate cleanup and redevelopment of

contaminated sites across Colorado. As part of the CDPHE Brownfields program, Mr. Jamison serves as

the Chair of the Colorado Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund Board of Directors. Since 2001, the fund has

capitalized over $25 million of environmental remediation projects.

Sean is a real estate developer, community builder and former Wall Street executive with a strong background

developments leading the visioning, investment and execution of our projects.

Prior to founding Formativ, Sean was co-founder and developer of INDUSTRY, Colorado’s foremost creative office concept. Before becoming a leader within real estate development community, Sean spent over a decade in NYC’s financial sector in fixed income trading and investment banking. Matt specializes in the valuation, assessment, taxation, and exemption of real and personal property on a state and local level for his clients. On a recent engagement, he helped a client save more than $2.5 million over a two-year assessment period by analyzing its valuation issues, communicating the issues with the client and then the county, and working through the mediation process at a state-level review board. As Client Principal, Matt will be responsible for the overall engagement and will coordinate the interaction between the client and Ryan’s National Commercial Real Estate Property Tax practice. In this leadership role, Matt will help ensure that communication is prompt, timely, and takes place well in advance of any deadlines, and that all questions are answered.

Michael Leahey brings 20 years of finance, capital markets, and public sector experience to every project, from large public private partnership to smaller, but no less important, community development engagements, resulting in projects achieving higher returns and greater social impact.

As a member of the real estate team, Tasha navigates clients through real estate transactions from contract to closing. She assists clients with acquisitions and dispositions, entitlements, easements, condominium development, and title-related matters. Tasha specializes in commercial leasing, representing both landlords and tenants in leasing office, retail, and industrial properties.

Tasha also focuses her practice on real estate brokerage license law. She advises clients regarding compliance with Colorado Real Estate Commission rules and regulations, and represents real estate professionals in administrative actions before the Colorado Real Estate Commission.

Tasha further assists clients in resolving real estate disputes, including quiet title and contract disputes.
