Fred Glick is a commercial real estate developer and urban planner working primarily on adaptive reuse

projects in Denver’s urban core. Fred is the vice-chair of the Denver Planning Board and a former

member of the Lower Downtown Design Review Commission. As a member of the Downtown Denver

Partnership’s Board of Governors, Planning and Urban Impact Committee and Urban Exploration

Steering Committee Fred is deeply involved with and committed to quality placemaking in Denver.

Fred is the chair of the Denver Health Foundation board and has extensive non-profit board experience,

having held leadership positions on the boards of RedLine Contemporary Art Center; the Academy of

Urban Learning, a Denver charter school serving unhoused and at-risk students; his neighborhood

organization, Clayton United; and the American International School of Johannesburg.

A Denver native, Fred spent twenty years abroad in Swaziland, South Africa, India, Egypt and the United

Kingdom. Before leaving the U.S., Fred was an arts administrator for modern dance companies in New

York City. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and a

Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver.

Asher is the President of TLC and manages all aspects of TLC operations, including acquisitions, investor relations, asset management, financing, leasing and development. Prior to joining TLC, Asher was an attorney at Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, one of the premier real estate law firms in the United States. His practice focused on complex real estate transactions, with an emphasis on the representation of private equity funds and other institutional investors in the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of commercial real estate assets. Asher graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Political Science. He obtained his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School.

Scott Kiere is CEO of Urban Green Development, a Denver-based sustainable real estate developer with 17 years of regenerative urban projects including the current Kensing LoHi build. He is also Founding Builder of BuildHuman, where he is developing Purpose Intelligence ~ an applied framework for AI-augmented leadership and decision architecture. Scott brings the operator's lens to AI's role in development, capital, and asset management.

Adam currently serves as Chief Acquisitions Officer for Real Capital Solutions and is a member of the Strategic Operations Committee (“SOC”), which drives the Company’s macro strategies and investment initiatives. Since joining Real Capital Solutions in 2011, Adam has leveraged his two decades of experience in complex real estate transactions to drive the company’s acquisition efforts and spearhead new initiatives. Throughout his career, Adam has successfully overseen more than $2.5 billion in real estate transactions, spanning diverse strategies and asset types. His accomplishments at Real Capital Solutions include the acquisition of over 15 million square feet of real estate. His background includes all aspects of investment management across all asset types and risk strategies – acquisitions, asset management, deal structuring, joint ventures, capital, leasing and operations, financing and sales.

Adam’s ability to navigate complex transactions and execute strategic initiatives positions him as a key leader in driving Real Capital Solutions’ growth and investment success.

Peter Newlin is CEO and Partner of Gastamo Group, the Denver-based hospitality and real estate company behind Park Burger, Homegrown Tap & Dough, Perdida Kitchen, Park & CO, and Lady Nomada. Since 2011, he and Jean-Philippe Failyau, the founder of Gastamo Group, have guided the company’s growth from a single neighborhood restaurant into a multi-concept hospitality company.

A College of Charleston graduate with an MBA from the University of Denver, Newlin blends financial discipline with creative vision. An innovator as well as an operator, Newlin created the concept Birdcall and Poncho Technology, a custom POS platform that helped set the brand apart as a leader in restaurant technology. Today, he focuses on upskilling restaurant executives for the era of AI—believing that teaching is the best way to learn, and that preparing leaders to use these tools effectively is the key to lasting industry impact.

Newlin co-founded the Denver Deluxe Music & Arts Festival and Fuel Hope Kitchen, which served 250,000 meals during the pandemic. He serves on the board of Birdcall and YPO Rocky Mountain, and has been recognized as a Denver Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree and a Titan 100 Colorado 2025 winner, and has also been featured in The CEO Magazine and profiled in Nation’s Restaurant News for his innovative leadership in hospitality.

Away from work, he can be found rafting with his family near Buena Vista.

Marc Perusse is the Founder & CEO of E2M Ventures (E2MV), a Denver-based real estate investment firm known for its ability to navigate and execute complex transactions. E2MV provides both senior and subordinate debt across the U.S., while also targeting opportunistic acquisitions in Colorado, often in partnership with Co-GP operating partners. With more than 15 years of experience, Marc has been instrumental in acquiring and repositioning over $500 million in real estate assets, consistently uncovering hidden value in challenging markets.

Prior to founding E2MV, Marc served as Chief Investment Officer for Revesco Properties, where he spearheaded high-profile projects such as Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park, Meow Wolf, and more than $350 million in real estate developments and acquisitions. Throughout his career, Marc has been involved in over $750 million worth of real estate transactions, spanning roles as an owner, investor, asset manager, lender, broker, and consultant.

Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver, graduating cum laude. He lives in Denver, CO with his wife and son. In his free time, Marc enjoys the mountains, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Ken manages real estate development activities at Denver International Airport and their integration with the DEN Real Estate strategic land use plan as well as overseeing all land lease activities such as rental cars, solar, farm, and oil & gas leasing. Ken has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, having been responsible for the acquisition, asset management, and disposition of over $2 billion worth of properties during that time. His career includes working for REITs, private equity companies, and small entrepreneurial real estate firms throughout the United States. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science from Montana State University, and earned his MBA from Indiana University.

Pat is one of the founders and principals of City Street Investors and has been involved in place-making and in-fill real estate project through-out Colorado for 30 years. As a principal, Pat and her partners have been investing in Denver area neighborhoods for two decades with properties in the Highlands, LOHI, Congress Park, Cherry Creek, North Country Club, South Broadway, Montclair, Lowry, etc. Their projects have won awards from Historic Denver, Denver’s Mayor’s Design Awards, Downtown Denver Partnership, WestWord, and 5280 Magazine. While their collection of investments emphasizes retail, it also includes office in conjunction with mixed-use properties, multi-family residential, self-storage, hotel and numerous restaurant investments. Their most recent place-making project was the renovation of the historic Union Station where Pat and her partners curated a strictly Colorado based line-up of amazing retailers and restaurateurs, and created five of the food and beverage venues, including the Terminal Bar and the Cooper Lounge. Pat takes on the primary responsibility for the leasing of all City Street Investors projects and often takes the lead on new acquisitions and sourcing on new partnerships.

Pat has been recognized in the Denver Business Journal’s Power Book for her accomplishments in retail. Pat sits on the Downtown Denver Partnership’s Retail Council and was a member of the Denver Retail Advisory Council which established the Denver’s 3 year plan for retail.

Prior to City Streets Investors and Larimer Associates, Pat was a Senior Vice President with Catellus in charge of retail strategy and implementation for Catellus’ retail developments across the country. Pat’s experience also includes 20 years of retail brokerage with Trammell Crow Company and CB Richard Ellis where she concentrated on specialty and urban centers, new developments, major redevelopments and national initiatives. As a broker, Pat was consistently recognized by the Denver Business Journal, Denver Metro Commercial Area Realtors and NAIOP as a top performer in the Denver marketplace.

Pat holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Iowa State University and a Masters in Business from Stanford University.

Doug Elenowitz is a principal of Trailbreak Partners, an alternative investment and advisory firm that focuses on acquiring control positions in smaller profitable companies and investing in and developing real estate in Colorado. Doug is an expert in urban redevelopment having managed the origination, structuring, and execution of urban infill and environmentally complex real estate developments across the United States for nearly two decades. In Denver, Doug oversaw redevelopment of the former St. Anthony Central Hospital, a 19 acre TOD urban mixed use development and redevelopment of the ASARCO Globe Smelter; a challenging public private partnership and one of Denver area’s most significant remediation and urban redevelopment projects. He is an expert in public finance having originated more than $30 million in financings including tax increment financing agreements, metropolitan districts, HUD Section 108 loans, and federal and local grants. Currently Doug is developing a 7-acre Transit Oriented Development (TOD) project in Lakewood, Colorado, a mixed-use/mixed-income project on Sloans Lake in Denver, and serves as Owners Representative to the Master Developer of the Clear Creek Transit Village, a 21-acre mixed-use TOD site in Unincorporated Adams County, Colorado.

Doug holds a B.S. in Environmental Health from the University of Georgia and an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado. He is a member of the ULI Urban and Mixed Use Development Council, the Denver Public Schools Bond and Mil Levy Oversight Committee, is a Real Estate Diversity Initiative (REDI) Mentor, and is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Denver. Doug is married with a son and daughter and lives in Denver.

Amy Thomas is the Director of Real Estate at Rethos, where she leads initiatives focused on reactivating and reinvesting in historic buildings. She also serves on the Minneapolis Heritage Preservation Commission. With a background in technical program management and community revitalization, Amy works to balance economic growth with cultural preservation and equitable access. She has experience across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, helping communities realize the full potential of their built environments. At Rethos, she champions place-based solutions that celebrate local identity while addressing modern urban challenges.

Jon Abrahamson is a partner within our real estate practice. His area of focus

within our real estate practice is comprised mostly of Private Equity Real

Estate Funds, Real Estate Development, Real Estate Investments, and Family

Office Real Estate. He takes a proactive approach toward client service which

includes being up to speed on ever-changing tax laws, ensuring compliance

needs are met in a timely manner, and providing tax strategies to minimize any

potential tax impacts, all while remaining fully compliant. Additionally, he is

experienced in succession planning, due diligence, re-organizations, and

estate planning.

Dan Feagans is the vice president of Brinkmann Constructors’ Denver office, and has more than two decades of construction management experience. Dan is responsible for all aspects of the performance and the day-to-day operations of the Denver office, and his experience allows him to better appreciate the importance of client advocacy, a Brinkmann Core Value. This includes setting strategic initiatives and execution of our company wide goals and objectives. He works directly with clients to ensure that their projects are given the attention that they deserve while safeguarding that it will be delivered on time and on budget.

Dan received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Missouri-Rolla (now known as Missouri University of Science & Technology). He is a LEED Accredited Professional, has undergone extensive OSHA safety training, and is ICC 2012 certified.

Joshua is a landscape architect and planner and serves as the Co-Director of Sasaki’s office in Denver. He has a deep passion for creating successful human habitat for all people through a variety of urban design, planning, and landscape project types. His interest lies at the intersection of people and infrastructure, where he focuses on the planning, design, and implementation of urban places of lasting social significance and ecological integrity. A systems thinker, Joshua has used his multi-disciplinary background and worked across scales and contexts in North America, Australia, Europe, and Africa.

On every project, he has committed himself to working with both public and private clients on complex social, environmental, and financial problems through collaboration, community engagement, and innovative solutions. Joshua’s expertise is in district scale master planning, urban redevelopment, infrastructural and environmental urban systems, corridor planning and design, and parks and public spaces. Joshua has a keen understanding of social dynamics, long term implications of planning and design, environmental performance, and changes in technology and economies. He uses this knowledge to craft resilient solutions for cities and people.

Joshua earned a master’s degree in city planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture with a minor in environmental science from Louisiana State University. He has taught at Northeastern University’s School of Architecture on Sustainable Urban Environments and works to bring human-centric urbanism to the mainstream through research, education, and writing.

Sarah Showalter has over 20 years of experience in planning, urban redevelopment, and affordable

housing. Sarah started her professional career in the private sector as an urban designer and planner.

Since that time, she has held multiple positions in the public sector. Sarah’s accomplishments include

leadership of projects that have had a meaningful impact on the Denver community – including a major

update to Blueprint Denver, adoption of a new inclusionary housing program, and improving Denver’s

zoning code through major code updates and policy initiatives for better development outcomes. In her

current role as Deputy Executive Director in the City of Denver’s Community Planning & Development

Department, Sarah oversees planning, policy, and operations for a large department in a fast-growing

city. Sarah grew up in Denver and enjoys giving back to her home city, where she enjoys raising two kids

and recreating in the outdoors.

Eric Hiraga is Chief Strategy Officer and Board Member at Matrix Design Group, a multidisciplinary, employee-owned consulting firm that provides engineering, planning, environmental, and other consulting services. With eleven offices and headquarters in Denver, Matrix serves public and private clients, including local and state governments, federal agencies, private developers, and special districts. The firm’s comprehensive services span civil and transportation engineering, water resources, environmental consulting, landscape architecture, ecology, construction management, surveying, GIS, and government consulting. At Matrix, Eric leads major pursuits, provides senior leadership oversight, and drives overall growth and competitiveness.

Eric brings more than 25 years of experience and a proven track record of relationship-building and strategic leadership across economic development, real estate development, aviation, government affairs, international business development, finance, and public-private partnerships. Prior to joining Matrix, Eric was appointed Executive Director of Denver Economic Development & Opportunity (DEDO) by Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock and oversaw the City’s efforts to create an inclusive and innovative economy for all residents, businesses, and neighborhoods. Previously, Eric served as Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff for Denver International Airport (DEN).

Eric, his wife Gabbie, and his dog Kuma lives in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver.

Since joining Namaste Solar in 2007, David has played an instrumental role in standing up our Commercial Solar and Operations & Maintenance programs, as well as developing notable solar projects with key clients such as National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Denver Public Schools, and New Belgium Brewing to name only a few. Additionally, David has served in a multitude of roles for the company including as General Manager, Director of Commercial Sales, Director of Operations and Maintenance, and has served on the Namaste Solar Board of Directors as both a board member and as board chair. David is currently focused on commercial business development efforts for Namaste Solar and utilizes his deep and lengthy industry experience to support clients in navigating the intricacies of implementing solar PV projects to achieve their renewable energy goals.
