Mr. Despard is a senior managing director and city leader responsible for project development, acquisitions/dispositions and asset management of projects throughout Colorado within the Southwest Region of the United States. Since joining the firm in 1999, he has contributed to the management of more than $700 million worth of development projects.

Despard graduated with a BBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder and he holds a master's degree in real estate development and finance from New York University.

The mayor was elected at large in 2013. He was re-elected in 2015. His current term ends in November of 2017. His parents moved to Broomfield in 1966. After college and spending six years in the oil and gas industry he moved his family back to Broomfield in 1986. He is married to Wendy Ahrens and has three grown daughters, Ashley Luman, Amy Ahrens and Jordon Felker.

Our Government is related directly to the U.S. Constitution and we have graciously sworn our allegiance to upholding the guiding principles created by our illustrious forefathers. It is a privilege and an honor to serve the community where I grew up and it has significantly shaped my ideals and ethics. Therefore, the passion for the well being of Broomfield citizens will always guide my decisions to maintain a safe environment and promote fiscal responsibility.

Chris Frampton is CEO of East West Partners, whose projects include Union Station,

Riverfront Park, The Landmark and Buckley Row at Boulevard One. Chris is also president of the board of

the Civic Center Conservancy. He and his wife, Yvette, are lucky enough to have three awesome kids and

a glorious golden retriever.

Chad McWhinney has been a visionary leader in the real estate industry for

more than 25 years. As Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Chad is

responsible for establishing the company’s purpose of creating great places

Since 1991, McWHINNEY has developed and planned over 6,000 acres of

land, and developed more than 10 million square feet of office, industrial,

medical, retail, hospitality and residential properties, including more than

2,500 units of multifamily apartments. McWHINNEY currently has over $2.5B

of assets under management.

Chad has been named 9NEWS Leader of the Year by Colorado’s KUSA-

TV, Bravo! Entrepreneur of the Year by Northern Colorado Business Report,

Rising Business Star by Fort Collins’ Coloradoan and NAIOP Developer/

Owner of the Year. McWHINNEY and the Denver Union Station Alliance were

honored with the prestigious 2015 Urban Land Institute Global Award for

Excellence, and Chad also received a commendation from the Colorado

House of Representatives for his work on Denver Union Station. He is a past

chair of the Teach for America Regional Board of Directors, and previously

served as a member of the Board of Directors for Downtown Denver, Inc., the

Colorado State University System Board of Governors, the Board of Directors

for the Poudre Valley Health System Foundation, National Association of

Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP) Colorado Chapter, Northern Colorado

Economic Development Corporation, Centennial Bank of the West, Guaranty

Bank & Trust Company, was a member of the Urban Land Institute and

Colorado Forum, and the Denver International Airport Management Advisory

Council. Chad’s personal mission is “to create a better world”.

Austin Kane

VP, Regional Director

Unico Properties

Austin Kane is Vice President, Regional Director working out of Denver,

Colorado. He oversees Unico’s real estate investments in Colorado and

Texas. Austin co-directs and executes asset strategies on more than 3.6M

rentable square feet of class A office and retail space and is Unico’s point of

contact for new business opportunities in his region.

Prior to joining Unico in 2013, Austin was a broker with the Frederick Ross

Company for more than 10 years. In this role, he worked with institutional

landlords from across the country. During his tenure with Frederick Ross,

Austin completed more than 250 lease transactions. He also worked closely

with management to mentor young brokers and connect with the larger

Denver community.

While with Unico, Austin has overseen multiple successful leasing efforts on

repositioned properties, setting a bar within individual competitive sets in

multiple markets and submarkets. Additionally, Austin has identified

multiple off-market office investment opportunities that have closed as well

as a significant off-market development play that is currently in progress.

Austin was elected President of the Denver Metro Commercial Association

of Realtors in 2013, and was the recipient of Allen P. Hackstaff Award for

outstanding community involvement. Austin serves on the Downtown

Denver Partnership Business Improvement District as Secretary and is a

member of the Executive Committee for the 5280/Downtown Loop. Austin

also is a member of ULI.

Austin believes that real estate is a service business, and he excels at creating

positive, lasting relationships.

Ryan Good

Ryan Good has been a driving force in Denver’s real estate industry for

more than 17 years. As Managing Partner of Good Investment Partners,

Ryan provides the vision for the firm’s leadership and operational teams

while building strategic partnerships with investors and key stakeholders.

Known for his ability to align the right opportunities with the right

partners, he leverages longstanding relationships to source opportunities

in various market sectors and segments.

Prior to founding Good Investment Partners, Ryan served as Executive Vice

President and Partner for the largest privately held real estate firm in

Denver. He was instrumental in the significant growth of the company and

ultimately disposition of all assets that led to multiple record-setting sales.

Through this process, Ryan developed a deep understanding of what

next-generation businesses need to grow and succeed.

Over his career, Ryan has been involved in more than 1,000 real

estate transactions valued at over $1.5 billion dollars.
