A fifth generation Denver native, Andrew has over 25 years of business experience, including real estate investment, development and management, entertainment, hospitality, event production and international business.

In his role as CEO and Managing Partner for the EXDO (“Extended Downtown”) Group, Andrew oversees commercial property investment and joint venture vertical development for EXDO’s Denver-based property holdings, many of which are located in Denver’s vibrant River North (RiNo) Art District. Andrew and his team spearheaded the redevelopment of the RiNo from a low-dense, industrial warehouse district into one of the most exciting urban development opportunities in the United States - attracting over $3 billion in public and private investment to date with another $3 billion committed over the next 10 years.

Andrew’s EXDO Development division has facilitated or jointly developed many of RiNo’s most innovative real estate projects, including The HUB mixed-use office tower (completed), Industry RiNo Station (completed), The Catbird Hotel (completed), and an anchor retail mixed-use project (in development). EXDO also owns and operates the 3,000-person capacity ReelWorks Denver, home to Denver’s most versatile and unique events.

In Colorado, Andrew serves on the boards of Colorado Concern, Visit Denver, the Downtown Denver Partnership, the RiNo Art District (which he chaired for over 10 years), the Denver Metropolitan Major League Baseball Stadium District and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Rocky Mountain Region, which awarded Andrew with its “Torch of Liberty Award” in 2017 for his work on social justice issues. In 2020, Andrew was asked by Mayor Hancock to co-chair the City of Denver’s Economic Relief Council to combat the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on local businesses. And Andrew has been tapped by both Mayor Hancock and Colorado Governor Jared Polis to craft policies to incentivize affordable housing.

An avid traveler, Andrew has participated with Denver Sister Cities International on diplomatic missions to Nairobi, Kenya and Takayama, Japan and has joined Mayor Hancock on official trade delegations to Tokyo, Munich, Dubai, Addis Ababa and Cairo. Currently, Andrew is serving on Denver’s Africa Air Service Committee to develop non-stop air service between Denver and Africa.

Andrew is also the founder of DenverStiffs.com, the most read website devoted to the NBA’s Denver Nuggets and their fan base worldwide. Through Nuggets connections and his passion for Africa, Andrew met former Nuggets vice president and current Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri in 2010 and has participated in the NBA’s Basketball Without Borders Africa and Masai’s Giants of Africa summer basketball camps across the African continent annually since. To date, Andrew has traveled to 15 African countries.

Prior to joining EXDO in Denver, Andrew spent 10 years in Los Angeles as an animation, television and new media producer and nationally syndicated cartoonist, developing content for global entertainment companies including Warner Bros., Nickelodeon and Fox Sports.

Andrew is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta where he received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration focusing on both marketing and international business. Andrew currently resides in Denver with his wife Sarah and their children Grace and Xavier.

Jonathan was born and raised in Denver, embarking on his real estate career in 2003 as a retail broker for Sullivan Hayes. He went to work as a Project Manager for Shea Properties, where he specialized in retail development and generated more than $30 million in sales, participating in the construction of more than 1 million square feet of commercial space. Jonathan subsequently created Imagine Infill where he developed and sold for-sale residences as well as having built several innovative urban apartment projects before joining Westfield. Jonathan brings a strong passion for sustainable development to Westfield Company and continues to contribute to the positive growth of Denver.

As Vice President of Multifamily and Mixed Use Development Management for McWHINNEY, Kirsty

supports the development team in all stages of predevelopment, entitlements,

design management and construction management. She directs the

sourcing and winning of work by procuring design and construction team

members, obtaining preliminary construction, design, and city fee cost

estimates, putting together preliminary project schedules, and identifying

key risk components of each assigned project and action plans to mitigate

those risks. She also oversees development risk and closeout management

of projects through the implementation of project specific risk management

plans for all assigned projects.

After completing her graduate degree, Kirsty worked for Urban Green

Builders in New York City, focusing on affordable housing and tax credit

development. During her time at Urban Green Builders, she managed two

multifamily projects under construction in Westchester County, New York,

along with several historic and low-income tax credit applications and

processes for large-scale renovation projects in Bridgeport, CT.

Following Urban Green Builders, she joined the Local Initiative Support

Corporation (LISC) in New York City, one of the largest national organizations

working to promote community revitalization and economic development

in America’s cities. At LISC, she managed a program through the State of

New York that provided funding to retrofit hundreds of apartment buildings

throughout New York City with energy efficient components such as new

windows and new boilers.

Prior to joining McWHINNEY, Kirsty was a Development Associate at UDR,

Inc. in Colorado, working on several ground-up multifamily development

projects in California and Washington State. Over nearly 6 years at UDR,

Kirsty worked on many projects of varying scale, from a 42-story mixed-use

high rise in San Francisco to a 6-story wrap in Irvine. At UDR, she served as

development manager for oversight in every facet of development, learning

and applying good design principals along the way.

Kirsty graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University

of Michigan and earned a Masters of City and Regional Planning from

the University of Pennsylvania and a Certificate in Real Estate Design and

Development through the Wharton School of Business.

A vice chairman in Newmark Knight Frank’s Denver office, Tim Harrington has

experience in all areas of commercial real estate transactions, including

valuation, property and investment management, client account management,

property optimization, consulting, and tenant representation from site selection

to move-in. Mr. Harrington is also experienced in new development projects,

including transit-oriented development. He is the team lead for Denver’s

premier Global Corporate Services team, which represents clients across

various industries, including legal, financial services and data

center/telecommunications. Throughout his career, he has negotiated more

than 150 million square feet of office, retail and industrial leases and land sales

with an aggregate value exceeding $4.5 billion.

Mr. Harrington has earned a strong reputation for his client-focused approach of

presenting optimal, customized, strategic real estate solutions. He provides in-

depth market knowledge and understanding obtained through decades of

corporate services advisory leadership and focuses on maximizing the value

from property expenditures by matching his clients’ occupancy challenges with

solutions integrating their business objectives. Mr. Harrington has demonstrated

expertise in handling complex transactions, relative to various market cycles

that may affect his clientele.

Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Harrington was a senior leader in

the Grubb & Ellis’ Tenant Advisory Group, responsible for securing,

transitioning and managing multiple Global Corporate Services contracts.

During his tenure, he qualified for the company’s Circle of Excellence 14 times,

ranked as the Number One Broker nationwide in 2001 and was top broker by

volume for the Denver office from 1994 to 2011. He was also the top producer

in the history of Grubb & Ellis.

Mr. Harrington’s achievements have earned him the respect of his peers

throughout the real estate industry. He was recognized in the 2013 Denver

Business Journal as the Heavy Hitters top-producing office broker in Denver

and in the 2011 Denver Business Journal Power Book as one of the Top 10

Newsmakers in Commercial Real Estate. Also he was selected from thousands

of brokers nationwide to receive the Hal Ellis Award in recognition of his

professional excellence, leadership and high ethical standards.

Matt Joblon is a founding partner and serves as Chief Executive Officer for BMC Investments. Since

2010, BMC has acquired and managed over 8,000 multifamily units in metro Denver comprising an asset

value just over $1 billion. Also in that time span BMC has developed or is in the process of developing

over $500 million in projects, all in Cherry Creek. Some of the projects include market leaders such as

the Steele Creek luxury apartment project and the new Halcyon Hotel. Through those projects, BMC has

been instrumental in bringing world class retail and restaurant concepts to Cherry Creek including

Matsuhisa, Quality Italian, Le Bilboquet, Soul Cycle, CB2 and Departure. BMC currently has over 200

employees and is growing at a fast pace. Lastly, BMC has another $500 million in development projects

in the pipeline in Cherry Creek, Boulder and the Fitzsimmons Medical Campus, and is in the process of

sourcing thousands of multifamily units outside of Denver. Mr. Joblon received a B.B.A. in

Entrepreneurship and Real Estate Finance from Babson College and is on the Board of the Blue Sky Fund.

Following a six-month national search, the Cherry Creek North Business Improvement District’s (BID) board of directors is pleased to announce Nick LeMasters has been selected as CEO of the organization, beginning Nov. 1 LeMasters has been general manager of Cherry Creek Shopping Center since 1996. He began his career in the shopping center industry with The Taubman Company in 1990, managing shopping centers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to his experience with Taubman, LeMasters spent 15 years with Dayton Hudson Corporation’s Mervyn’s Department Store chain. LeMasters is active in the Denver community, currently serving on the board of directors for VISIT DENVER, as a mayoral-appointed board member of the Denver Convention Center Hotel Authority, and on the executive committee for the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation. He is a founding board member and past chair of the Cherry Creek Area Business Alliance and was inducted into the Colorado Tourism Hall of Fame for his efforts to promote tourism in Denver and Colorado. LeMasters is also an active participant in the Cherry Creek Steering Committee which, in partnership with city staff and neighbors, created the Cherry Creek Area Plan, a key document that guides development throughout Cherry Creek. “After an extensive search led by HRS, Inc. we are thrilled Nick LeMasters will be bringing his leadership skills and passion for the community to the Cherry Creek North BID,” said Eric Buchanan, Cherry Creek North BID chairman. “Nick’s experience in contributing to the economic development of Cherry Creek, alongside his impressive background in supporting tourism in our city and state, ensures he is the right leader to continue to advance Cherry Creek North as a premier outdoor lifestyle destination." LeMasters is succeeding Julie Underdahl who joined the Cherry Creek North BID in 2007 and was the longest serving CEO in the BID’s history.

Mr. Albro is responsible for BREG’s commercial real estate portfolio, as well as research and

strategy development. Mr. Albro is also a member of the Management Committee, which provides

strategic direction to the company.

Prior to joining Broe, Mr. Albro was Vice President of Acquisitions and Portfolio

Management at Penwood Real Estate Investment Management, a private firm focused on value-add

industrial investments. Prior to Penwood, he was Vice President of Acquisitions at Cigna Realty

Investors, where he was responsible for sourcing joint venture equity and fixed-rate debt

investments. Mr. Albro has direct experience in a variety of U.S. markets covering all major property

types; total equity transactions exceed $1.6 billion in gross asset value and total debt investments

exceed $350 million. He also has held positions with Starwood Capital Group and Vail Resorts

Management Company.

Mr. Albro received his B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College, and earned his

M.B.A from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
