Garrett Stutz has served as Senior Advisor of Logistics & Expansion at Chicken N Pickle since 2021. In this role, Stutz utilizes his background in financial analysis to oversee the company’s expansion process, including market analysis, research, planning and the implementation. His primary responsibilities include creating strategic action plans focused on long-term goals and potential opportunities, securing incentives, performing competitive analysis to uncover untapped opportunities in the site selection process and evaluating site submittal packages including ingress/egress, parking, zoning, tenant mix, demographics, general geographic area and adjacent properties.

Prior to joining Chicken N Pickle, Stutz spent more than a decade playing professional basketball across eight countries, including six years in Japan. During his time abroad, he created and leveraged global partnerships and relationships to secure more than 50 appearances as a motivational speaker, sharing his passion for striving for success and personal integrity.

A life-long resident of Kansas City, Stutz is a graduate of North Kansas City High School and received a B.A. in Finance from the Barton School of Business at Wichita State University. As a student-athlete, he was a four-year Shocker-Scholar Athlete and was highly involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes among other campus organizations.

Elyse Blazevich leads CBSA’s work to create co-opportunity for Colorado’s life sciences community. Together with the CBSA Board of Directors, team, partners, sponsors, and members, she strategically advances CBSA’s efforts to build a collaborative environment for health innovation.

Elyse brings deep knowledge of life sciences company needs, CBSA as an organization, and Colorado’s business community to offer continuity, connections, and a clear vision for the future of CBSA and the ecosystem it represents. Before joining CBSA, she co-founded Securisyn Medical and led the organization as COO and CFO, transitioning the company from a

Wells was previously Chief Investment Officer of Shelter Canadian Properties Limited, a real estate investment management company. Before that, he spent 15 years with Lazard Real Estate Partners, most recently as Managing Principal with investment management responsibility for five real estate opportunity funds, which at its peak totaled more than $3 billion of committed partner capital invested in the hospitality, office, industrial, retail, senior living and structured finance sectors. As part of his role at Lazard, Wells also served as President of InTown Suites, Inc., an Atlanta-based extended-stay hotel company with 127 locations. He was previously with The Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York/ARES Realty Capital, and started his real estate career with Shelter Corporation of Canada Limited.

Mr. Wells received his B.A. from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, and his M.B.A. from the University of Denver.

Lorne Polger is the Co-Founder and Senior Managing Director of Pathfinder Partners,

LLC. Pathfinder is a real estate private equity firm based in San Diego, California with a

billion dollar portfolio of real estate investments primarily in the western United States.

Lorne focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, business and legal strategies. He practiced

real estate law for more than 20 years and prior to co-founding Pathfinder in 2006, was

the head of the Real Estate, Environmental and Land Use team at Procopio, Cory,

Hargreaves & Savitch, LLP, San Diego’s largest law firm. Mr. Polger is recognized for

his multi-family expertise, having directly participated in the acquisition, disposition,

financing and development of apartment, condominium and condominium conversion

transactions exceeding $6 billion in value. His law practice included acquisitions,

dispositions, developments, financings, foreclosures, reorganizations and workouts,

syndications, and leasing, along with residential, office and industrial condominium

conversion and construction. Mr. Polger graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from

Colorado College, Cum Laude, in 1984 and earned his law degree from UCLA in 1988.

Mr. Polger was a finalist in the 2015 EY San Diego Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

He has been a member of Vistage, the international CEO organization, since 2013. His

community activities include serving as a national commissioner and chair of the

Regional Advisory Board of the Anti Defamation League, as a board member at the

Burnham Moores Centre at the University of San Diego, as a board member of the

National Conference of Christians and Jews, and as a Director of the San Diego Chapter

of the CCIM Institute. He also currently serves on the Campaign for Cardiovascular Care

at Scripps Health in San Diego.

Nate Vielehr is a capable senior level management consultant who has experience in providing solution-oriented expertise and strategic advice to “C” level executives and stakeholders across a broad range of industry sectors.

Nate brings over twenty years of experience in the surveying, construction and engineering industries. His experience focused on operations and management, looking for opportunities to increase profitability and efficiency through innovation. He brings excellent project management, change management and problem-solving skills.

Mr. Gutesha oversees BREG’s commercial real estate portfolio encompassing commercial office, medical office and retail assets. His responsibilities include portfolio and asset management, annual business plan preparation and execution, major capital project implementation, third party management and leasing oversight as well as the disposition process.

Emily Martini collaborates with the President and CEO and the Colorado BioScience Association Board of Directors to create co-opportunity for Colorado’s life sciences community. Emily’s leadership advances CBSA’s work to champion a collaborative life sciences community and advocate for a business climate where health innovation thrives.

She’s responsible for the strategic initiatives, partnerships, and programs that support the health and growth of CBSA, our members, and Colorado’s life sciences community, spanning and connecting Capital + Growth, Policy + Advocacy, Education + Networking, and Workforce Development. She expands opportunities for our community, creating value for members, sponsors, and stakeholders.

Before joining CBSA, Emily supported workforce initiatives at Arapahoe Community College, using OEDIT workforce development funds for upskilling and reskilling. She also served as Director of Business Development for the South Metro Denver Chamber, growing membership and executing events to drive ROI for sponsors. Additionally, she managed operations for companies in the legal and media industries.

Leading projects for the Visioning, Brands, and Experiences group (ViBE) in the Stantec Boulder office, Shannon is an Architect and project manager with a knack for delivering on a high caliber of projects. She began her career with Stantec in Chicago with the VOA acquisition. From there, she moved to the Orlando office which sparked her love for finding the intersection where design and storytelling meet. Working on several entertainment and themed projects, she was able to bring her technical building experience and thoughtful design approach to the Boulder office in 2017. Through listening, understanding, and a commitment to the user experience, she achieves the highest level of desired outcomes for her clients and team. Shannon’s project experience ranges from complex mixed-use entertainment districts to the highly technical building type of science & technology. Her creative problem solving allows her to solve any design solution from various angles. Her positive outlook and willingness to explore all possible scenarios makes working with her a pleasurable experience.

Colorado grocer and Marczyk Fine Foods owner Peter Marczyk - Denver's most eloquent grocer - has always been passionate about cooking with the best ingredients. He has no formal culinary training, but a childhood filled with homegrown ingredients, including chickens, trained his palate. In fact, he managed to win his wife's heart with a simple salmon dinner. His philosophy hasn't changed since that fateful meal: Keep it simple, make it great.

Born and raised in Easthampton, Massachusetts, Pete moved to Denver in 1990 and had a successful career as a stockbroker before walking away from the financial world to follow his true passion: food.

In April 2002, he opened Marczyk Fine Foods and quickly became an expert on everything from American meat production to mushroom foraging. Pete approaches cooking with the same intensity he does stocking his store's shelves, delving for the best ingredients and experimenting until he hones the perfect recipe. Marczyk Fine Foods has become a destination for exceptional meats and pantry items, and Pete has become the go-to for culinary information.

So it made perfect sense for Rocky Mountain PBS to enlist him to host their new webseries, "Great Ingredients."

Mary Beth began her commercial real estate career in Houston, Texas in 1980, working

for The Woodlands Corporation at the inception of The Woodlands Development, a

23,000 acre master-planned community, in North Houston. She then joined Cadillac

Fairview Development Corporation on their 33-block development in Downtown

Houston, Houston Center.

Mary Beth founded The Laramie Company in 1992, a Denver based commercial real

estate brokerage and consulting firm. The Laramie Company is known for bringing a

unique skillset of strategic consulting and deal-making to their clients and projects.

As the lead real estate consultant and broker for the Downtown Westminster project,

Mary Beth assisted the City of Westminster in the land assemblage and purchase of the

108 acre former Westminster Mall site.  Working with City staff, she is now responsible

for curating a mix of developments, developers, and key retail tenants on a block-by-

block basis, with over 1.7 million square feet of new developments either open or under

construction. Projects include affordable housing and market rate multi-family

residential, for sale townhome and condominiums, a boutique hotel, office, and key retail

tenants; Alamo Drafthouse, Tattered Cover Bookstore, Marczyk Fine Foods.

Most recent projects include the completion of retail consulting and leasing for McGregor

Square in Downtown Denver resulting in 100% lease-up during COVID including

relocating the Tattered Cover Bookstore along attracting with other top local and national

retailers and restaurateurs.

Mary Beth has consulted with numerous cities and developers on new and existing retail

and mixed-use projects. City clients have included: Lone Tree, Westminster, Aurora,

Parker, and Glendale. Development clients include Brookfield Properties, General

Growth Partners, Forest City, Boston Properties Group, Western Development Group,

and Portman Properties. Her resort retail experience includes Vail, Snowmass Village

and Silverthorne. Additionally, Jenkins spearheaded the movement of outdoor regional

retail and lifestyle projects in the Denver Metro area that include, The Orchard Town

Center, The Shops at North Creek, Southlands, The Shops at Northfield, and the

Westminster Promenade. Mary Beth has provided tenant representation to retailers,

including AMC Theaters, Alamo Drafthouse, and the Tattered Cover Bookstore.

Walker is a developer and contractor with a portfolio of large-scale developments throughout the country. In each project, he seeks to pair Vertikal's design/build process with the correct financing structures - including tax credits, bonds, grants, and multi-level partnerships.

Walker received his Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Millsaps College in 2002. Walker has worked primarily as a developer and contractor throughout the southeastern United States. He has constructed or renovated large-scale developments in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Kentucky, Mississippi, Florida, Tennessee and Texas. These commercial developments include: hotels, retail/office, apartments, townhomes, condominiums and medical facilities.

Walker has a passion for creativity in design and deal structuring and a deep appreciation of the development partners that join in the company's vision.

Elli Lobach has been with Grand Peaks since 2015 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Development for Colorado. Mrs. Lobach has directly developed and constructed more than 3,500 rental units and 100,000 sq. ft. of retail totaling over $1 billion and managed acquisitions and dispositions totaling more than $600 million. Her previous employment included time with Holland Partner Group, Archstone Communities, and the New York City Economic Development Corporation.

Mrs. Lobach earned her Bachelor’s degree and Master of Real Estate and Project Management degree from Harvard University. She currently resides in Parker, CO and operates out of the corporate office.

PRIMARY ROLE Don Rosier is responsible for Business Development in Colorado and the Mountain West region. Rosier is responsible for researching, locating, and proposing new business development opportunities for Sherman Associates and related entities. RESULTS Rosier establishes and maintains client and government relationships while sponsoring interaction to obtain new projects. He represents the company at government meetings and negotiations and works collaboratively with the development team to achieve company development goals. QUALIFICATIONS Rosier brings over 30 years of experience as a registered professional engineer and has been actively involved in entitlement, land development, and construction in Colorado and around the nation. He recently served two terms as a Jefferson County Commissioner. Pursuant to county regulations, commissioners can serve only two terms, eight years total. In 2018, Rosier termed out of his seat and opened a boutique government relations and land development consulting business which helps communities and individuals entitle and develop property in Colorado and the Mountain West region. Rosier received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Colorado State University. He holds his Professional Engineering Certification from the state of Colorado. He was the Colorado Counties, Inc. Freshman Commissioner of the Year in 2011. Rosier held the honor of being the 2012 Elected Official of the Year for the West Chamber and Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation. He is a graduate of Rapport International (JFDI.)

John Burke is the Economic Vibrancy Manager for City of Westminster, helping the private

sector navigate development and redevelopment opportunities throughout the City. John

worked in the private sector for 10 years as a consulting engineer and has invested the last 19

years working for the City of Westminster managing major capital projects.

Over the past eight years, John has helped the City of Westminster negotiate over $350 million

dollars in private investment to build over 1.7 million square feet of mixed-use commercial,

residential, entertainment, and hotel development in the City’s new Downtown Westminster

project.

Mayor Nancy McNally was elected to the City Council in November 2021.

Nancy and her husband Larry have raised three children, many pugs, bulldogs, and lived in their home 45 years.

Nancy is an 11-year small business owner in Westminster. She teaches the software one uses to digitize machine embroidery designs.
