David Genova is the General Manager and CEO for RTD. Dave is a 22 year veteran of the transit industry working at RTD since 1994. He previously served as the Assistant General Manager of Safety, Security and Facilities for nearly 8 years and prior to that was the Senior Manager of Public Safety for 10 years. He was originally hired by RTD as the Manager of Safety and Environmental Compliance. Prior to his experience at RTD, Dave worked in various roles in the environmental, safety and oil and gas industries.

Dave serves on several national committees including: APTA’s Rail Transit CEO’s Subcommittee; APTA’s Commuter Rail CEO’s Subcommittee; APTA’s Rail Transit Committee; an appointment by the U.S. Secretary of Transportation to the USDOT Federal Transit Administration Transit Rail Advisory Committee on Safety; former Chair of the American Public Transportation Association’s Rail Safety Committee; and the Transportation Research Board’s Transit Safety and Security Committee. In addition to serving at the national level, Dave is on the Board of Directors for Visit Denver – the Denver Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Colorado Operation Lifesaver.

He was formerly the executive sponsor of RTD’s Asset Management and State of Good Repair program which is recognized as a national model in the industry. He has initiated safety programs which have resulted in a robust safety culture that RTD employee survey results indicate safety as RTD’s number one strength and priority. Dave also successfully crafted and implemented RTD’s safety and security plan for the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Dave is involved in all of RTD’s capital projects including the Eagle Public Private Partnership, and conducted the safety certification and commissioning for all of RTD’s light rail lines, commuter rail lines, and Denver Union Station. He enjoys giving back to industry by participating in transit agency peer reviews across the United States.

Dave has a Bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Business Administration degree from Regis University.

Museum of Outdoor Arts

Cynthia Madden Leitner co-founded the Museum of Outdoor Arts (MOA) with her parents, Colorado developer John W. Madden, Jr. and his wife Marjorie Madden in 1982. Designed as a “museum without walls", MOA’s original mission followed the definition by integrating the arts into commercial landscapes and architecture to create synergistic environments for everyday living. Beginning with a donated outdoor collection of 12 sculptures placed in Greenwood Plaza, the collection now has over 200 monumental sculptures installed throughout the Denver Metro area. In 1995 The Colorado Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts was awarded to Cynthia for the realization of MOA’s unique vision.

Cynthia Madden Leitner has curated over 200 exhibitions for the Museum of Outdoor Arts and more than 20 exhibitions for other arts organizations during her 35-year tenure as President and Executive Director. She has worked with local, national, and international artists including Nick Bantock, Sanfte Strukturen, Daniel Sprick, and Claudy Jongstra. In 1999 Cynthia Madden Leitner co-curated A View from Denver with the Denver Art Museum for the White House Rose Garden. Among the Museum's publications are Portrait of a Museum and Secret Rooms; the films “Palazzo Verdi” and “Sacred Water at Burning Man” both aired on PBS. Cynthia has also spearheaded monumental projects such as creating Design and Build, a renowned education internship for emerging artists, building Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre (FGA) from an earth sculpture into the largest outdoor live music venue in Colorado, and designing and creating Element House, an off-the-grid home near the site of Charles Ross’ Star Axis.

Among civic activities, Cynthia Madden Leitner serves on the PLACE advisory board, and the Greenwood Village Arts and Humanities Council. She has also served on the board of the International Sculpture Center, is an Honorary Trustee of The Women’s Foundation of Colorado, and a founder of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. Cynthia has also been selected for the Denver Mayor’s Commission of Arts, Culture and Film, the Denver Foundation’s Arts and Culture Committee, the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts, and the Advisory Committee for the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Denver.

Cynthia and the Museum of Outdoor Arts have been honored with the following awards: Distinguished Contributions to Women in the Arts - Colorado Committee for the National Museum of Women in the Arts, 1991; Museum Art Educator of the Year - 1993; Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts – 1995; Englewood Builder Award – 2004; Mayor Hickenlooper’s Proclamation for Design and Build Day – 2004; Element House designs and film accessioned by MoMA NY – 2014; AIA New York Design Award issued to MOS Architects for MOA’s Element House – 2015; Architecture Design Award issued to MOS Architects for work including MOA’s Element House – 2015; Governor Hickenlooper’s Proclamation for Design and Build Day – 2016.

As EVP-Head of Asset Management, Krystal Arceneaux directs all asset management activities for EverWest’s national portfolio, including 16mm sf and $4.7B in commercial real estate assets. The national asset management team are located in both the corporate and satellite offices (Orange County, San Francisco, New York, Charlotte, Texas and Colorado.) The asset management team is responsible for the successful implementation of property business plans through analytics, reporting, leasing and sale negotiations, budgeting and budget implementation, financings, as well as client relationship management. Krystal is a member of the EverWest Executive Committee, which discusses and sets policy and direction for all aspects of the company, as well as the Investment Committee, which reviews and approves acquisitions, significant capital changes to operating schedules and internal quarterly valuations across the EverWest portfolio. Krystal was with Alliance Commercial Partners before transitioning to EverWest in 2015. Prior to joining Alliance in 2005, Krystal was a Project Manager for BridgeCenters, LLC, where she worked for 4 years. Krystal earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Colorado at Denver, and has been a member of NAIOP since 2008.

William “B.J.” Hybl Jr.

Mr. Hybl joined Griffis/Blessing, Inc. as an Associate Vice President in 1999. Since that time, Mr. Hybl has provided invaluable expertise in asset management, acquisition, development, due diligence and financial/market analysis for real estate investments. Since his promotion in 2006 to President and C.O.O., Mr. Hybl has had direct responsibility for over eleven million square feet of multi-family, office, industrial, and retail buildings whose market value totals more than $1 billion.

Mr. Hybl, and his staff, consistently produce goal-surpassing performance in all areas of multi-family and commercial property management through careful market planning, cost reduction, quality control, professional compliance, and meticulous attention to detail.

Prior to joining Griffis/Blessing, Inc., Mr. Hybl was Vice President of The Garden City Company, a publicly traded land holding company with offices in Kansas and Colorado.

Mr. Hybl’s community leadership is evidenced by civic activities that include his board membership on the United States Bobsled and Skeleton Federation and The United States Olympic Museum. He currently serves as the Vice President for the Air Force Academy Foundation and also serves on the Board of 5Star Bank.

Mr. Hybl received his BA from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado and an MBA from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Hybl also served in the United States Air Force as a Missile Launch Officer and a Space Operations Officer.

Don brings over 30 years of experience to Forum and oversees the group’s development projects, working closely with Kevin Foltz to identify new development opportunities to help grow and expand the company’s development footprint.

Prior to joining Forum, Don most recently served as head of West Coast Development at UDR, Inc., where he oversaw the development of $1 Billion of Class A multifamily/ mixed-use assets, including the award-winning Wilshire La Jolla and 339 Fremont in San Francisco. Prior posts also include Founder and CEO of MacKenzie House, LLC; Managing Partner of Greystar West; Senior Vice President of Development at Equity Residential (EQR); and nearly 10 years at Wellsford Residential (WRP)working in development, acquisitions, asset and property management.

In addition, Don is also actively involved in industry and community organizations. For the past decade he has served as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Center for Work Education and Employment (CWEE), a welfare-to-work job and career training organization. He is on the Board of CLIMB, Inc. (Colorado Leaders Interns Mentors in Business), an organization providing a marketplace of summer internships in Denver for current undergraduates from eight universities. Don has twice served as President of the Board of Directors of the Arapahoe Tennis Club and is a member of the Silver Multifamily Council of the Urban Land Institute.

Don lives in Cherry Hills Village with his wife, Suzanne, and their three daughters.

Jeffrey Brown, FAIA, is Principal-in-Charge of Design for Powers Brown Architecture which he

co-founded. Practicing architecture for more than 20 years, Brown has an array of experience

working on multiple building types for both public and private entities; he is an accomplished

designer with unique graphic communication and strategic planning skills. His ability to design

utilizing an interactive process of project definition and interpretation has resulted in distinguished

design awards and published works.

Brown has been instrumental in leading the firm to numerous awards including a Citation in the

2012 Annual Design Review from Architect magazine and recognition from the Tilt-Up Concrete

Association as the 2008 and 2014 recipient of the Irving Gill Distinguished Architect Award for the

firm’s and his own contribution to the design and advancement of tilt wall construction. Additional

accolades have come from the Texas Society of Architects, American Institute of Architects

Houston, AIA DC|Washington, Design Excellence Awards and the Urban Land Institute. The

firm’s work has been widely covered in magazines and books including his latest, Tiltwallism: A

Treatise on the Architectural Potential of Tilt Wall Construction is available through book sellers

nationwide.

Brown has a passion for shaping architecture and the architects of tomorrow. He has taught as

an assistant at his alma mater, Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, and as an

adjunct professor at both The University of Houston Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and

Prairie View A&M. He has been a guest critic at the above-mentioned institutions, Rice University,

Roger Williams University and the University of Texas at Arlington. Brown is also active in

numerous professional organizations including NAIOP; and the Tilt-Up Concrete Association,

where he serves as President on the board of directors.

As Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Matrix Group, Brad Cohen oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, including the property management, maintenance, accounting and marketing departments. In his role, Brad emphasizes process improvement and building a strong foundation within Matrix Group so the team can be at its most effective. His philosophy for operations revolves around developing an efficient, productive, and satisfied team: create a culture of excellence, recruit top talent, and mentor future leadership.

Brad joined Matrix Group in September 2019 as COO. Prior to this transition, he spent sixteen years as Managing Director of Capital Markets for Transwestern. An integral component in his time at Transwestern was Brad’s leadership in the creation and launch of Transwestern’s Mountain Region Investment Sales Group, an entirely new business unit within the company. For this team he recruited, on-boarded, and mentored seven high-performing sales professionals who came to rank in the top five percent of Transwestern producers nationwide. In the interim between Transwestern and Matrix Group, Brad established his own company, Paper Clip, CRE, which promotes a product designed to increase efficiency for commercial real estate professionals.

Born and raised in Colorado, Brad grew up in Littleton and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Brad is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Colorado.

Mike Fitzgerald joined the Denver South Economic Development Partnership as President and CEO on July 1, 2010. He has led similar public/private organizations in Montana, Washington, Florida and Hawaii. Throughout his economic development career, Fitzgerald has worked with several governors, created economic development strategies for states, communities and companies. He set up and directed trade and investment offices in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America, Canada and Mexico. Fitzgerald has built teams and coalitions that have created thousands of jobs, hundreds of businesses and billions of dollars of new investment.

Lone Tree Mayor Jacqueline “Jackie” Millet is a solutions-oriented leader with a

proven record of consensus building and collaboration. Her years of experience as a

Registered Civil Engineer, coupled with her tenure as a Planning Commissioner, City

Council Member, Mayor Pro Tem, and current Mayor for the City of Lone Tree

provided Jackie with the opportunity to work with a broad range of citizen,

business, and government stakeholders to provide real solutions for community

challenges.

After graduating with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo,

Jackie began her career as a Water Supply Engineer. She prepared long range

integrated water plans to ensure safe and reliable water supplies for large and small

communities. Jackie’s experience working with and for public utilities eventually

lead her to serve as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Lone Tree.

Elected to the Lone Tree City Council in May 2008, as Mayor Pro Tem in 2012, and

Mayor in 2016, Jackie has been a strong advocate for smart growth and citizen

engagement. During her time on Council, the City made significant investments in

new recreation and cultural facilities, prioritized economic development and

transportation improvements, and established a Youth Commission and a Living

and Aging Committee.

Jackie represents her community through a number of regional organizations

including the Partnership of Douglas County Governments and the Douglas County

Youth Initiative. In 2012, Governor Hickenlooper appointed Mayor Millet to the

Regional Air Quality Council, and she was also elected to the Denver Regional

Council of Governments’ (DRCOG) Executive Board. She was elected Chair of the

DRCOG Board of Directors in 2014, and was recently named to the 2017 Executive

Committee of the Metro Mayors' Caucus. Jackie has become a well-respected voice

on many regional issues, including transportation and collaborative government.
