As Chief Development Officer, Keith Hurand is the driving force behind McWhinney’s ambitious real estate portfolio growth. In close collaboration with ownership and executive leaders, Keith leads a multifaceted role that encompasses design, construction, oversight, and execution of pivotal projects. His mission: to spearhead innovative, efficient, and effective developments that span McWhinney’s four key business areas – Master- Planned Communities, Commercial and Mixed-Use Development, Multifamily and Build-to-Rent Development, and Project Management & Operations. A key member of the Executive Committee, Keith also works with the CFO and Co-CIO to collaborate with McWhinney’s Board of Advisors. Keith brings to McWhinney a rich tapestry of leadership experience, having managed corporate, regional, and field operations with up to 1,000 employees across diverse markets. His impressive leadership track record, which includes steering business units in over 16 US markets to annual revenues in excess of $1 billion, underscores his exceptional expertise. His broad product knowledge spans the residential, build-to-rent, commercial, industrial, hospitality, multifamily, high-rise condo towers, 55+ active adult communities, master- planned communities (MPCs), and urban mixed-use real estate segments. Keith’s career journey includes pivotal roles at prominent industry players. At Taylor Morrison, Inc., he served as the Dallas President with responsibility for strategic land acquisition, land planning, operations, marketing, sales, construction, and more. Notably, he successfully initiated the Dallas build- to-rent (BTR) and single-family for rent (SFR) business segment while also contracting over 4,000 residential lots to pave the way for future projects. Keith’s leadership also transformed the division into one of the “Best Places to Work” in Dallas, reflecting his commitment to both employee engagement and financial results. As President & Chief Operating Officer at Newland Real Estate Group, Keith oversaw every aspect of the company’s east coast operation leading up to its highest growth and most profitable years. During his tenure, the company managed over 40 master-planned community projects. Keith Hurand is more than just a seasoned real estate professional; he is a visionary leader who, through strategic expertise and profound industry knowledge, shapes McWhinney’s path towards creating vibrant, sustainable communities.

Jeremy Records founded Central Development in 2005 and he has successfully grown the company to over $550 million in development and acquisitions of office, industrial, retail, residential, multifamily, and hotel properties. Central Development has constructed facilities for companies including, Samuel Sons, FMC Technology, JR Butler, EdgeConnex, Applied Control Equipment, Gordon Holdings Corporate Head Quarters, Reglera, Reed Construction Data, and Colorado, Rincon Research, Carrier West, Amazon, and Plastic Surgery Center.

Jill Jennings Golich serves as Deputy Director for Denver Community Planning and Development where she oversees the areas of policy, regulation and development. Previously she served as Director for Community and Economic Development for Adams County. During her time as director for Adams County, the department became the first to pass new oil and gas regulations as a result of SB19-181, and led the work to update light industrial zone districts to be more in keeping with the vision expressed in the County’s comprehensive plan. Prior to Adams County, Jill served as Interim Executive Director and Deputy Director for Denver’s Community Planning and Development department where she oversaw passage of the 2016 Denver Building and Fire Code, partnered with Colorado Village Collaborative to bring tiny home villages to Denver, and was co-manager for the city for the Broadway Station redevelopment. She previously served as Director of Campus Planning and Campus Planner for the Auraria Higher Education Center and began her career in the private sector. Jill has a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Washington.

I am a daughter of District 7. My childhood was full of adventures around the district, like visits to Huston Lake Park, Washington Park, and Athmar Park Library. Some of my earliest memories are of taking evening walks along the Platte River with my family and listening to the whistle of the train at night. After buying their first home in Athmar Park, my family was so content in District 7 that we only moved once - to the house across the street! Southwest Denver has helped to shape the person I am today. It’s where I learned the value of community, hard work, and service. In fact, my first leadership role was being on the student council at Valverde Elementary School! I attended Denver Public Schools - Valverde Elementary, West Middle and High Schools - and when I bought my home, I bought it here in District 7. When my grandmother immigrated from Mexico in the 90s, she too made her home in the district. It’s my dream that my young son will someday also make his home here. I am a small business owner and I attribute my entrepreneurial spirit to my parents. My family started a business in 1997 out of our basement. My father, Juan Alvidrez, a Mexican immigrant thrived in Denver; he got his GED from Emily Griffith and was able to build a career in construction, working his way up through the carpenters’ union. My mother, Cynthia Alvidrez, pushed my father to pursue his education, and together as a family we built a small concrete contracting company. Knowing that we all needed to do our part to support the family business, my first job was at our office on Pearl Street, in an old Victorian home next to my uncle’s dry cleaning business. Later, while attending Metropolitan State and the Community College of Denver, I supported my studies by working at the US Bank on Mississippi & Broadway. I had to put my education on hold to help run the family business when my mom experienced a medical emergency. I had been studying to be a paralegal and had become familiar with law, legislation, and legal processes, and most importantly, learned how to be an advocate for my community. At the beginning of 2020, after a shooting took place on my street, I helped unite neighbors to talk about our safety. Former Councilman Jolon Clark was there to listen, and we came up with real solutions that made us feel safe again and gave the community time and space to grieve all the loss we experienced. I know there are solutions to the problems we are facing, and I will advocate for our community. Crime has risen about 6% and that’s just since 2021. Inflation and the cost of living in Denver continue to rise, further exacerbating our housing crisis. Small businesses in the area continue to close. The path to the American dream that my family was able to achieve is dwindling, no longer an option for most. I ran for office because we need a leader who will deliver results and offer solutions to the big challenges facing our district and our growing city.

Mr. Brown brings over thirty years of experience in design and infrastructure of all commercial/industrial facilities. He oversees the operations and strategic planning for the Great Western Industrial Park. Prior to joining Broe, Mr. Brown was Director of Construction at Tejon Ranch Company and worked to development water treatment facilities and interstate crossings, among other projects. Mr. Brown has also served as a Project Manager McIntosh & Associates managing heavy industrial construction projects for major oil companies. Mr. Brown is a graduate of Montana State University with a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology

As Vice President of Construction Operations, Mark is involved with every phase of the project, from preconstruction through completion and turnover. He coordinates cost estimating, budget preparation, design development, preconstruction and construction activities as well as subcontractor negotiation. By understanding the needs of the customer, Mark is able to identify the team best suited to manage all aspects of the project and will oversee activities to ensure customer goals are achieved and the best value is recognized. Starting from the initial introduction, Mark’s goal is to provide the support and guidance required to maintain team momentum and exceed the customer’s expectations.
