For nearly three decades, Dan has pursued his passion for great urban environments by working on planning, investment, and development in major cities in the western U.S. He has primarily been responsible for the sourcing, structuring, entitlement, and development of large-scale dynamic mixed-use places in urban infill locations. As President of AC Development, Dan leads the company’s day-to-day operations, development execution, and project visioning.

Dan has previously led his own real estate company, Urban DNA. He also held positions as Senior Vice President for McWhinney, a Colorado-based developer, and Vice President for Catellus/Prologis, a national Fortune 500 REIT where he contributed to the renowned Mission Bay project in San Francisco.

In the community, Dan has served as a Boulder County Planning Commissioner, as a Boulder Urban Renewal Authority board member, and as a board member for local non-profit organizations. With the Urban Land Institute, Dan is past chair of the Colorado Council’s TOD Committee and is a charter member of the Urban Development Mixed-Use Product Council (Platinum). Dan has been a speaker nationally on sustainable urbanism and an instructor to military veterans on sustainable land development.

Dan holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master in City Planning from M.I.T.

Sarah Cawrse is building Flora Strategies, a new urban strategy and design consultancy

dedicated to shaping vibrant, equitable, and resilient communities. Drawing on experience

across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, Sarah navigates urban challenges by combining a

designer’s eye with strategic insight, leadership, and a systems-thinking approach that

incorporates the policy and regulatory forces shaping urban environments.

Prior to launching Flora Strategies, Sarah served as Co-Executive Director of the RiNo Art

District, where she led urban strategy and design for the River North (RiNo) Business

Improvement District (BID) and General Improvement District (GID). In that role, she helped

manage a $5M annual budget and spearheaded transformative investments in infrastructure,

placemaking, and community-driven initiatives.

Before her time at RiNo, Sarah worked in local government for over six years, holding senior

planning and urban design roles with the City and County of Denver and the City of Boulder.

She began her career as a landscape architect and urban designer at Design Workshop in

Denver.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic State University,

San Luis Obispo, and a Master of Urban Design from Newcastle University in England. She

currently serves on Denver’s Planning Board and is the Chair-Elect of Cal Poly’s Landscape

Architecture Department Advisory Council.

The Founding Principal of our multi-disciplinary studio, David’s passion for cities directs the work of Tryba Architects. He is involved in each of the firm’s projects and excels at leading talented designers towards solutions that are in the best interest of the client, the community and the project. David’s entrepreneurial spirit directs the firm’s commitment to the development and transformation of urban neighborhoods, buildings, sites and systems into active, human-scaled and successful places.

David possesses a deep understanding of the evolution of cities—past, present and future—and has completed projects across North America. His design is driven by a critical awareness of the social and economic value of place making, a fundamental belief in the integration of architecture and landscape, and a firm and resolute commitment to city building and civic craft.

Candace is a Principal in HOK’s Denver studio and brings extensive experience designing award-winning workplaces, corporate, commercial and higher education projects. She is a highly collaborative designer, guiding clients through each phase of design to meet their vision and goals for the project. Candace currently serves on the board of CoreNet and is an active member of DDP and IIDA.

Brent Martin is the Managing Partner of LandDesign’s Colorado office, where he leads

operations and oversees design projects from conceptual planning to execution. With over 25

years of experience, Brent has contributed to a diverse range of projects, from large-scale

master-planned communities to smaller, impactful site designs that prioritize community

creation, functionality, and mindfulness of place.

Brent specializes in master-planned communities and mixed-use developments, where he

brings a creative and tailored approach to each project. He is dedicated to creating spaces that

reflect the unique needs of each community, ensuring that designs are both meaningful and in

harmony with its context. His leadership guides projects from the initial concept through to

successful delivery, with a focus on excellence and innovation.

Through his leadership, Brent has been instrumental in LandDesign’s growth and success in the

Colorado region, delivering projects that are both innovative and community-focused. His

approach combines creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the importance

of experiential design.

Looking ahead, Brent envisions continuing to push the boundaries of landscape architecture

and urban design, fostering communities that adapt and thrive amidst urban growth and

environmental challenges. His work reflects LandDesign’s

Chelle has been immersed in the design industry since 2003, bringing extensive experience in hospitality, multi-family, food and beverage, and senior living projects. She spent seven years at Ricca Newmark Design, where she built strong industry relationships before her departure in 2014.

In 2015, Chelle took a leap of faith to establish studioM, a full-service hospitality design firm. Since then, she has cultivated lasting client relationships, delivering thoughtful and aesthetic designs while maintaining budget-conscious solutions. In 2024, she repositioned studioM as White Lotus Design Studios, preserving the same philosophy, process, and design integrity. Chelle takes pride in providing an exceptional client experience for projects of all sizes. Her keen attention to detail, ability to listen and translate a client’s vision, and strong leadership set her apart in the industry.

Beyond her design practice, Chelle is a dedicated advocate for education. She serves as an adjunct instructor at Arapahoe Community College and mentors emerging professionals, fostering the next generation of design talent to strengthen the industry.

Our Founder, Harsh Parikh, is widely recognized as one of the most accomplished architects in the Rocky Mountain region. His extensive skill set, coupled with his engaging communication style, distinguishes him and enables him to play a pivotal role in the development process, adding significant value.

Real Estate Development, particularly in the realm of housing, is a complex and challenging journey, fraught with risks, obstacles, and pitfalls at every step. Elected officials, Neighborhood Organizations, City Officials, Lenders, Investors, Design Review Boards, Builders, and numerous other stakeholders often have their own divergent interests and intricate requirements that must all be met. Essentially, a development project must navigate a gauntlet while striving to satisfy a diverse range of individuals. It requires a deep well of knowledge and experience, an empathetic and engaging communication style, a nimble design sensibility, and the ability to craft a compelling narrative that guides a project from inception to fruition. Harsh Parikh, with his unparalleled expertise in entitlement processes, development regulations, life safety codes, accessibility codes, urban design, building design, sustainable design, healthy design, design documentation, construction technologies, construction processes, lending requirements, marketing strategies, and building operations, is uniquely qualified to serve as a comprehensive advisor for any development effort. Having previously played the role of a developer himself, his unique skill set has a proven track record.

With a history of successful involvement in widely acclaimed multifamily and mixed-use projects, encompassing over 14,000 housing units and numerous award-winning urban, suburban, rural, and mountain projects, Harsh has demonstrated that a diverse skill set, when paired with empathetic communication and patient advocacy, can foster mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders and lay the groundwork for successful development.

Harsh earned his Bachelor of Architecture from M.S. University in India, where he received the Design Gold Medal and the Gold Medal for Academic Excellence, which is awarded to the Valedictorian. His outstanding academic achievements continued at CU Denver, where he was granted a Merit Scholarship and completed his Master of Architecture with the highest grade average. In 1995, Harsh joined our predecessor firm, Murphy Stevens Architects, and gradually led its transformation first into Parikh Stevens Architects, and subsequently into Santulan Architecture.

Today, as the President of Santulan Architecture, Harsh leads one of the most accomplished and experienced design teams specializing in multifamily and mixed-use projects in the Rocky Mountain region.

Stephen Dynia, FAIA is the Design Director of the firm of his founding with the

goal of making buildings and spaces inspired by the phenomena of nature, fueled

by innovation, and motivated by the essence of architecture in society and

culture. He received degrees in Fine Arts and Architecture from the Rhode Island

School of Design, a place that taught the value of ideas, the rigor of design

investigation, and the craft of making buildings, spaces, and objects of all scales.

Dynia moved to Jackson, Wyoming after working in the design department of

Skidmore Owings & Merrill in New York and founded the practice in 1993.

The energy of that environment – both SOM and Manhattan – still serves as a

model for the exhaustive design investigation within the Dynia Architects studio,

and for the integrity of what we know as modern work. The desire to design

larger commercial and multi-family projects led him to Denver, Colorado. Dynia

established an office in the River North Arts District (RiNo) in 2010. The firm has

completed the design of eight buildings in a collaborative process with Zeppelin

Development, three of which are currently under construction.

Dynia Architects’ residential, commercial, and institutional work has been

recognized with over 40 design awards from the American Institute of Architects.

Stephen has presented his work at design conferences nationally. Stephen Dynia

was admitted to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows in 2013.

Virginia McAllister started Iron Horse Architects to foster a design philosophy that moves beyond traditional sustainability and creates design solutions that incorporate sustainability, adaptability and longevity. Her expansive repertoire includes design for projects in varying levels of government, along with her work in the markets of transportation, aviation, science and technology, and hospitality. She is enthusiastic about the practice of architecture and embraces technology. Her team is always looking to the future and practices Responsible Design, which takes a holistic approach to sustainability.

Angela Harris is an American interior designer, Chief Executive Officer, mother, and thought leader. At her renowned interior architecture firm, Angela has spent 25 years working directly with the nation’s most prominent builders, developers, architects, and product manufacturers. Her robust experience in market-driven design, coupled with a Masters in Sustainable Design, has led her to embark on a design journey inspired by philosophy, mindfulness, science, and technology. Angela is currently earning her PhD in Visual Arts, pursuing research in the field of Aesthetics, Design, and the Built Environment through IDSVA. Angela and her talented team collaborate on all aspects of master-planned communities, commercial design, model homes, clubhouses, sales centers, hospitality, and multifamily apartment communities.

Since joining Namaste Solar in 2007, David has played an instrumental role in standing up our Commercial Solar and Operations & Maintenance programs, as well as developing notable solar projects with key clients such as National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Denver Public Schools, and New Belgium Brewing to name only a few. Additionally, David has served in a multitude of roles for the company including as General Manager, Director of Commercial Sales, Director of Operations and Maintenance, and has served on the Namaste Solar Board of Directors as both a board member and as board chair. David is currently focused on commercial business development efforts for Namaste Solar and utilizes his deep and lengthy industry experience to support clients in navigating the intricacies of implementing solar PV projects to achieve their renewable energy goals.
