Mike Fitzgerald joined the Denver South Economic Development Partnership as President and CEO on July 1, 2010. He has led similar public/private organizations in Montana, Washington, Florida and Hawaii. Throughout his economic development career, Fitzgerald has worked with several governors, created economic development strategies for states, communities and companies. He set up and directed trade and investment offices in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America, Canada and Mexico. Fitzgerald has built teams and coalitions that have created thousands of jobs, hundreds of businesses and billions of dollars of new investment.

Jim joined the development team of Prime West in 2012, and became the Owner, President and CEO in 2015. Jim is responsible for the overall success of Prime West and works directly with the leadership team of the firm to establish the direction of the company, its vision, goals, objectives, strategies, and market focus.

Stephanie joined Granite in 2005 and is responsible for day-to-day operations and growth of Granite’s Denver office. Prior to joining Granite, she was a senior vice president with BetaWest, Ltd., the real estate asset management division of Credit Suisse First Boston. Previously she was with Lowe Enterprises focusing on acquisition opportunities in Colorado and Texas. Stephanie began her career in real estate with La Salle Partners as a leasing specialist and general manager. She is a past president and board member of the Colorado’s NAIOP chapter and is a member of the Office Development Council of the Urban Land Institute. She is involved in various charitable organizations including The Children’s Hospital, Colorado Children’s Campaign and Girls Inc.

Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Math from Vanderbilt University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Brad Cohen

As Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Matrix Group, Brad Cohen oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, including the property management, maintenance, accounting and marketing departments. In his role, Brad emphasizes process improvement and building a strong foundation within Matrix Group so the team can be at its most effective. His philosophy for operations revolves around developing an efficient, productive, and satisfied team: create a culture of excellence, recruit top talent, and mentor future leadership.

Brad joined Matrix Group in September 2019 as COO. Prior to this transition, he spent sixteen years as Managing Director of Capital Markets for Transwestern. An integral component in his time at Transwestern was Brad’s leadership in the creation and launch of Transwestern’s Mountain Region Investment Sales Group, an entirely new business unit within the company. For this team he recruited, on-boarded, and mentored seven high-performing sales professionals who came to rank in the top five percent of Transwestern producers nationwide. In the interim between Transwestern and Matrix Group, Brad established his own company, Paper Clip, CRE, which promotes a product designed to increase efficiency for commercial real estate professionals.

Born and raised in Colorado, Brad grew up in Littleton and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Brad is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Colorado.
