Terry Montesi

As founder and CEO, Terry Montesi has led Trademark Property Co. through over 30 years of innovative, community-focused development. Under his leadership, Trademark has worked on more than $4.6B and 21M SF of some of the most placemaking-centric retail and mixed-use properties in the United States. Terry is the driving force behind Trademark’s collaborative, community-driven approach to development. Pulling from his 40-plus years of industry experience, he has cultivated a company philosophy that is defined by constant innovation, creating meaningful guest experiences, and long-term thinking. Terry’s commitment to constant evolution and long-time support of the core tenets of Conscious Capitalism led him to create Trademark’s own conscious development model, The Conscious Place, setting the tone for a continued focus on innovative and experiential retail and mixed-use places. Terry is also the host of Leaning In, Trademark’s podcast focusing on the future of mixed-use real estate. Terry sits on the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Board of Trustees and The University of Texas Development Board; is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors Hall of Fame, the World Presidents’ Organization, and the Urban Land Institute (ULI); and has served on numerous committees and judging panels for ULI, ICSC and the Texas Exes. As an active participant in the Fort Worth community Terry holds, or has held, leadership positions with the Union Gospel Mission of Fort Worth, Christ Chapel Bible Church, the Trinity Habitat for Humanity, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and Junior Achievement. In addition, he is an enthusiastic supporter of the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Before founding Trademark in 1992, Terry was a principal and co-founder of Huff, Brous, McDowell & Montesi, Inc., Fort Worth’s largest commercial brokerage and management firm. Earlier in his career, he worked for Lincoln Property Company. In 1986, he and his brother became Blockbuster Video’s fourth franchisee. Terry earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and BBA from the University of Mississippi. He and his wife live in Fort Worth, TX and are proud parents to three grown children.

Artemio De La Vega

Artemio De La Vega is the founder and CEO of De La Vega Development, a commercial real estate firm specializing in dynamic mixed-use developments. Mr. De La Vega has more than 25 years of experience in the entrepreneurial and real estate industry, with a focus on single-tenant, multi-tenant retail centers and mixed-use developments. He brings a versatile and deep knowledge of development, master planning, entitlements, construction and capital markets to every project. Mr. De La Vega has successfully invested, acquired, developed or redeveloped more than 100 commercial real estate projects throughout the world. Some of his more notable projects include the 900,000 square-foot Las Palmas Marketplace in El Paso, TX; the 900,000-square-foot Canyon West in Lubbock, TX; the 400,000-square-foot Kings Crossing in Shreveport, LA; as well as multiple industrial distribution and manufacturing facilities for clients such as Chrysler, General Motors, Alcoa, Yazaki, Bergamasca and more. As a recognized leader in the commercial real estate industry, Mr. De La Vega frequently serves as a panelist for many leadership and future vision summits. He is also a guest columnist for a variety of publications and active with several professional organizations, including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and The Real Estate Council (TREC). In addition, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Chancellor’s Council of the University of Texas System, is a board member and donor to the FEMAP Foundation, and a proud donor and supporter of the Artemio De La Vega Scholarship Fund for the benefit of Hispanic students at the University of Texas, El Paso. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas, is a graduate of Culver Military Academy, Jr. Reserve Officers Training Corps and holds an FAA private aircraft license. Mr. De La Vega enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.

Beginning at its origin in 1988, Brandt has developed and operated WoodHouse concepts and brands with an unerring commitment to deliver original experiences and design. Throughout this ongoing journey Brandt has leveraged his passion for music and the culinary arts to infuse each project with purpose to elevate experiences for the patron, the property and ultimately the communities served. It is through witnessing the impact culture can have on a community that his current focus has expanded to development on a wider scale. Currently, Haggard Farm, a project that WoodHouse is co-developing with Stillwater Capital in Plano, Texas, is exemplary of leveraging individual restaurants, venues, and retail – together with culture rich grounds, common areas and a working farmstead – toward a whole that is greater than the sum of the parts. Haggard Farm is rewriting the book on a mixed-use development by raising the experiential quotient and by curating the tenant base with like-minded stakeholders who bring a “maker” philosophy to their craft. Haggard Farm will be transformed into a residential, retail, hospitality, and entertainment village, but will continue as a working farm, open to everyone to discover and experience. Regarding Brandt’s passion for entertainment, born from his hometown of New Orleans, he co-developed the Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival in 2015 that takes place each year in Franklin, Tennessee. The festival features a 50-band, 5-stage production which has become the signature boutique festival for the Nashville/Franklin area. Brandt also developed a groundbreaking national live music program at Harrah’s Entertainment with C3 Presents and has festival production credits that include Trees Outdoor Music Festival, Dallas 2000 and 2001 New Years’ Events, and Live at the Drive-In with Jimmy Buffett in 2014. As a partner at Woodhouse, he has produced entertainment and built hospitality projects for notable clients including Republic Property Group, Highgate Hotels, Deason Capital, SMU, American Cancer Society (Cattle Baron’s Ball), and numerous others. Brandt graduated from Washington and Lee University and currently is raising a family in Dallas, Texas. Brandt has served on the Booker T Washington Arts Magnet Board, National Restaurant Association Board, Young Entrepreneurs Organization Board, and has collected numerous awards for both business and charitable efforts over the years.
