Aarica Mims joined KDC in 2021 to oversee the company’s leasing activities. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing leasing strategies, focusing on corporate build-to-suit projects and marketing KDC’s strategic land sites. She also sources new development and acquisition opportunities.

Before joining KDC, Mims worked for Granite Properties in Plano, TX. In this role, she managed leasing operations for a multimillion-square-foot portfolio of Class A/AA office and mixed-use projects. Additionally, Mims was actively involved in the design, development, implementation, and leasing of speculative office properties in Plano, Uptown, downtown Dallas, and Southlake.

She has worked with national and international clients, including Fannie Mae, Alkami Technology, The Coca-Cola Company and Health Care Service Corporation/Blue Cross Blue Shield.

While attending East Central University in Oklahoma, Mims interned for The Staubach Company and Cushman & Wakefield. After graduating with a BSBA in Finance, she joined Peloton Commercial Real Estate’s agency leasing group and became senior vice president. In her time with Peloton, she leased multiple high-profile office and industrial buildings throughout DFW, working with clients including the Billingsley Company, Invesco, Primera Companies, Dalfen Commercial and ECOM Real Estate.

Mims serves on the board of the NAIOP North Texas Chapter and has received the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. She is also a member of The Real Estate Council and is a corporate council member with Klyde Warren Park. In the community, she is a committee member of the Cattle Baron’s Ball and is active with Armstrong Elementary’s Parent-Teacher Association.

Mims lives in Dallas with her husband and two sons.

In his role, Brewer oversees HALL Group’s asset management, development, and marketing teams, managing the company’s real estate portfolio valued at approximately $1.5 billion. Additionally, he serves on the loan committee for HALL Structured Finance, the company’s private lending division.

Before joining HALL Group, Brewer spent 18 years at Hines, where he most recently held the position of market leader for the Dallas operations. During his tenure at Hines, he led numerous real estate developments in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and was deeply involved in acquisitions, refinancing, REO transactions, zoning/entitlement, and real estate development. Earlier in his career, Ben worked at KPMG LLP.

Brewer is a member of the board of directors for The Real Estate Council (TREC), Klyde Warren Park Corporate Council, White Rock Lake Foundation, and the Dallas Regional Chamber.

He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Baylor University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Chismark is a Partner with Morrison & Head, a Texas based property tax consulting, due diligence and appeals practice. He oversees the Dallas office working with institutional owners of commercial real estate through acquisition, development and property tax protests. Mr. Chismark’s team represents $14.5 Billion in commercial real estate in DFW. Morrison & Head is the fastest growing tax consulting practice in Texas and was recently named one of DFW’s 100 fastest growing companies for 2020. Ryan grew up in Syracuse, NY before relocating to Texas in 2012. He lives in Dallas with his wife Chelsea and his labradoodle Dwight.

A Senior Associate Principal with over 18 years of experience, Franz has

contributed to KPF’s portfolio of iconic projects, from Beijing’s tallest tower to the

final plot at New York’s World Trade Center. His programming specialty spans

residential, office, mixed-use, and supertall buildings.

Franz’s work emphasizes each project’s context, taking into consideration the

impact of the new development on its locale and vice versa. In Atlanta, Franz’s

work on 1020 Spring Street delivered a hospitality-forward office building with

lively collaboration spaces and flourishing greenery. Located just north of Tech

Square, the city’s center for Georgia Tech-spawned businesses, the project

brings Class AA office space to the city’s innovation district. Ahead of its

completion in 2024, 1020 Spring Street was identified as a key driver of the city’s

tech boom by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Franz’s other projects include 5 World Trade Center in New York, a mixed-use

tower that mediates between the historic texture of the neighborhood and the

modern character of the World Trade Center. Further west, Franz serves as

Project Manager for Waterline in Austin, soon be the tallest tower in Texas, which

incorporates office, residential, and hotel program while embracing its natural

surroundings with a set-back form.

Franz is a member of the Urban Land Institute and American Institute of

Architects. He has guest lectured for the Graduate Real Estate Development

Program at Columbia University and has guest critiqued for the Architecture

Program at North Carolina State University.

Zach Sams joined Kensington Vanguard in November of 2016 after serving as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Fidelity National Title’s Dallas/Fort Worth division from 2012-2016. Zach is focused on expanding KV’s footprint in the D/FW, Texas, Arizona and National markets. From selling real estate for to business development roles at prominent local and national title insurance companies, Zach has been active in the in the real estate market since 2005.

Prior to the title industry, Zach attended The Golf Academy of America in San Diego, then spent two years playing professional golf on various mini tours in Southern California. Zach is a Veteran of the US Army. Zach lives in Argyle, TX with his wife Amber and their two boys 11&13. In his free time Zach enjoys playing competitive amateur golf and traveling with his wife and kids.

Zach is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Lagniappe Capital Partners, focusing on concept expansion, real estate development, and operations. He currently serves on the board of directors for LCP portfolio companies Divert Brands and Voicebox Karaoke. Zach was most recently with TOCA Football, leading the US operations of TOCA Social, a sports entertainment concept built around soccer. Prior to TOCA, Zach spent two years at GameStop, leading their internal innovation practice. To kick off his career, Zach spent eight years with Topgolf where he helped develop and open 55+ venues and led the company’s initial international expansion efforts. Zach is a graduate of New York University (BA) and Southern Methodist University (MBA).

Gene Ball is the CEO of Electric Shuffle USA, a social entertainment concept which fuses stunning cocktail bars with high-tech shuffleboard to revolutionize traditional bar experiences.

Electric Shuffle USA, which opened its first venue in Fall 2021, has sites in Dallas and Austin with ambitious growth plans ahead.

With a background at McKinsey & Co, and Morgan Stanley, then more recently developing and launching two emerging concepts with Topgolf Entertainment Group to further expand their US footprint, Gene sought out his next challenge and came across the Red Engine team. The UK group were looking to expand their successful London brand to the US and so plans for Electric Shuffle USA were made.

Jon Hetzel has worked at Madison Partners since May of 2007. Mr. Hetzel manages Madison’s underwriting, acquisitions/dispositions, financing, zoning, permitting, asset management for infill Dallas properties, and brokerage activities. Mr. Hetzel is also Madison’s spokesman for a wide variety of issues relating to Deep Ellum and Lower Greenville. He has taken the lead on helping to revitalize the two historic and truly unique Dallas neighborhoods.

Mr. Hetzel graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in economics. In addition, Mr. Hetzel studied for a year at the London School of Economics. Mr. Hetzel is the President of the Deep Ellum Foundation, which manages the Deep Ellum PID, Chair of the Deep Ellum TIF Board of the City of Dallas, Boardmember of the Collin Creek Mall TIF Board of the City of Plano, and Boardmember of the Greater Dallas Planning Council. Mr. Hetzel is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute and The Real Estate Council. Mr. Hetzel has an active Texas Real Estate Broker’s License.

Zac Mowery is founder and Principal of ZMOWERY Architecture. Prior to forming ZMOWERY, he gained experience working with multiple international, award-winning architecture firms. Throughout his career, Zac has been involved in the design and construction of commercial projects, mixed-use developments, and master planning efforts for projects of all scales both in the United States and abroad. Recently, he was responsible for the successful completion of The Stack Deep Ellum, a 200,000 SF creative office concept in the cultural heart of Dallas, TX. His philosophy is rooted in the belief that good design establishes a sense of place, reflects the identity of the community, and responsibly stewards resources.

Bill Krol is a Principal at ARCO/Murray, overseeing the Entertainment Division and national account rollout strategy for clients across various industries. He has managed over $1B in entertainment construction, leading development pipelines for several nationally recognized clients, including Topgolf, Carvana and Puttshack. Bill is responsible for leading building and site design, zoning and entitlements, budgeting, and site feasibility for all new concepts and also manages new facility and prototype designs. Bill is a graduate of the University of Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

Will joined Granite in 2003 and is the market leader for Dallas, responsible for growth, performance and value creation of the Dallas platform. Previously, as Senior Director of Investments, he was responsible for leading and coordinating Granite’s investment activity in Atlanta, Austin, Denver, and Houston. Will is a NAIOP North Texas board member, an Uptown Dallas, Inc. board member and a ULI national council member.

Ramsey March is Executive Managing Director and Partner in Stream’s Dallas/Ft. Worth office where he is responsible for the company’s office development and acquisition activities. Ramsey possesses 21 years of industry experience which includes participation in development, capital markets, and leasing transactions totaling $4.3 billion in value. Under his guidance, Stream’s DFW development group has executed projects representing $565 million in value since 2018. Ramsey is also consistently a top national brokerage producer for Stream and was the #1 office division producer in the DFW market in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021. In total, Ramsey has completed nearly 200 lease transactions representing 3.5 million square feet during his tenure at Stream.

Milton has been designing, directing and master planning since 1986 and previously served as MAA’s

Director of Design since 1997. His extensive experience covers a multitude of building types and sizes, each

carefully tailored to a unique client, budget, site and city.

Corporate clients include USAA, Dr. Pepper/7-Up, Weatherford International, and Bell Helicopter Textron

Corporation. Office development clients include Trammell Crow, Stream Realty, Lincoln Property Company,

Brandywine, Endeavor, and Bandera Ventures. Projects include The Park at Barton Creek and Barton

Skyway I, II,III, and IV in Austin, Texas.

Historic restoration, preservation, and adaptive reuse of existing urban architecture has become a specialty

and passion. Projects in downtown Dallas include the Interurban Building, Atmos Lofts, Gulf States

Building, 1414 Elm, 211 Ervay, Mosaic, Statler Hilton, 1505 Elm, 500 South Ervay, Corrigan Tower and Tower

Petroleum.

Internationally, Milton has worked in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.; Aberdeen, Scotland; Tripoli, Libya and China for

corporate and private clients. Recent work includes master plans for mixed-use and government facilities in

Niamey, Niger and Abuja City, Nigeria. Specialty projects include several private residences, churches,

restaurants, and retail. Clients include Saltgrass Steakhouse, Babin’s Seafood and Sweet Tomatoes, etc.

Hospitality projects include the Marriott Autograph at Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas; El Tropicano Hotel,

Under Mayor Maso’s administration, the City of Frisco has received dozens of awards and attributions including Money Magazine “Best Places to Live List” and Allstate’s “Safe and Secure Communities List”

Maher Maso works to represent small and large companies to create public/private partnerships and to create jobs in communities by negotiating incentives and focusing on site selection. His initiatives as Mayor positioned the City of Frisco as a hub of first-class entertainment, sports and sports medicine including the home of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, FC Dallas and the world headquarters of the PGA.
