Mr. Rader has been involved in Southern Dallas County since 1984 attempting to

bring development to the Interstate 45 area. In 2004 Union Pacific Railroad agreed

to locate a $100 million Intermodal facility on Interstate 45 in the cities of Hutchins

and Wilmer completing a seven-year effort by Mr. Rader.

Beginning in October 2005 Mr. Rader and partners have assembled 900 acres on

Interstate 45 immediately east of the Union Pacific Dallas Intermodal Terminal. This

project is named Sunridge Business Park and is projected to have 8 million square

of industrial buildings and 60 acres of commercial/retail businesses when

Dallas County.

The Union Pacific Intermodal Terminal led to creation of 75,000-acre Dallas County

Inland Port. Mr Rader initiated the Dallas County Inland Port Infrastructure

Analysis completed in November 2012. This three-year study managed by North

Central Texas Council of Governments with Dallas County and cities of Dallas,

Lancaster, Hutchins and Wilmer participating identified existing infrastructure and

what new infrastructure was needed for year 2035. This analysis has seen new

roads, water, and wastewater improvements come to reality. Dallas County Inland

Port includes cities of Dallas, Hutchins, Lancaster, Wilmer and Desoto and is now
