Carlos Gonzalez-Jaime

Carlos Gonzalez-Jaime is the Founding Executive Director of Transform 1012 N. Main Street, a nonprofit organization leading the transformation of the former Ku Klux Klan auditorium in Fort Worth, TX into the Fred Rouse Center for Arts and Community Healing. This nationally recognized adaptive reuse project reimagines a site of historic harm into a vibrant cultural and civic anchor rooted in arts, community engagement, and reparative justice. Under his leadership, Transform 1012 has rapidly evolved into a growing institution, attracting substantial philanthropic support and establishing a strong financial foundation for long-term sustainability. Transform 1012 has recently launched the quiet phase of a $70 million capital campaign. The project includes the development of a 35,500-square-foot cultural campus, shaped through a collaborative design process that brings together architects, engineers, scholars, and community stakeholders to balance historic preservation with contemporary use and long-term sustainability. Carlos brings over a decade of experience in the nonprofit and cultural sectors, working at the intersection of arts, culture, and social impact. He previously served as the inaugural Executive Director of the Latino Arts Project in Dallas, where he developed exhibitions and public programs focused on Latin American and Latinx art and history. He has also advised museums, cultural institutions, and government agencies in the U.S. and Mexico on strategic planning, institutional development, and fundraising. Earlier in his career, Carlos held executive roles at Hewlett-Packard across the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America, managing multi-country operations and complex organizational systems. He holds a Global MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Carlos currently serves on the Advisory Board of Visitors of the Texas Christian University College of Fine Arts, the Tarrant County Coalition for Peace and Justice, and is a founding board member of the Main Street America Historic Northside District Program. He was named one of the “400 Most Influential People in Fort Worth” in 2023.
