Bob Castellini is widely known for leading a group that purchased a majority share of Major League Baseball’s oldest franchise, the Cincinnati Reds, in early 2006. Bob currently serves as the principal owner and chief executive officer of the ball club and is one of the team’s most passionate fans. Bob has been involved in baseball for more than thirty years and once was a partner in the Baltimore Orioles, the Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals teams.

Bob Castellini is also chairman of the Castellini Group of Companies which, under his leadership, has grown to be one of the largest fresh produce distributors in the United States. The firm, established in 1896, supplies the fresh produce needs of the foodservice and retail industries in the Midwest through a broad range of distribution services and value-added products.

Bob earned a Bachelor’s in economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Bob served two years in the Army achieving the rank of first lieutenant and received an Army Commendation Medal before returning home to run his family’s business.

Bob also serves as chairman of the Joint Banks Steering Committee which is leading the cooperative efforts to finish development of Cincinnati’s riverfront. Bob is a board member of 3CDC and the Cincinnati Arts and Technology Center. Bob serves as the chairman of the Cincinnati New Equity Fund and New Markets Tax Credit Fund.

Mr. Phillip J. Castellini, known as Phil, serves as the Chief Operating Officer at The Cincinnati Reds, LLC. Mr. Castellini serves as a Director at National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Inc. and Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.

Tom is Chairman and CEO of Neyer Holdings Corporation, an advisory, investment, and development group based in Cincinnati. Those three activities are concentrated in three areas: real estate, private capital, and public policy.

During Tom’s tenure, Hamilton County completely reinvented itself, including the $1.5 billion reconstruction of Cincinnati’s riverfront, stadia and infrastructure, its approach to integrated human services delivery, and its role as the region’s preeminent government. As President of the Board, Tom and his colleagues directed the County’s policies, restructured and managed a $2.1 billion annual budget, and 6,400 employees.

Candace S. McGraw was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Cincinnati/Northem Kentucky International Airport (CVG) in July, 2011. Prior to leading the CVG staff, Ms. McGraw served in a number of positions at the Cleveland Airport System, including Deputy Director, and served as General Counsel for Cleveland City Council and Legal Counsel and Deputy Director of Charitable Gaming for the Ohio Lottery Commission.

Since joining CVG, Ms. McGraw has focused on positioning the airport for the future by completing a 2035 Master Plan Study; consolidating operations into a renovated terminal facility; diversifying revenues through targeted cargo, land and concessions improvements; finalizing a modernized Use Agreement; and increasing carrier options. Ms. McGraw is proud to lead a team that has been recognized as the Best Regional Airport in North America for six years.

Ms. McGraw is active in the local community as well as the aviation industry. John F. Barrett is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Western & Southern Financial Group. Barrett has served as CEO since 1994 and as president since 1989. Under Barrett's leadership, Western & Southern has grown from a small Midwestern life insurance company founded in 1888 into a national financial services enterprise and has doubled in size every five years for the past 15 years.[1] Western & Southern has assets owned, managed and under care in excess of $60 billion as of March 2013 and is one of the eight highest-rated life insurance groups in the world, based on its Standard & Poor's rating.[2]

During the Great Recession, Western & Southern maintained strong economic health with Barrett at the helm. The company was able to develop, through its subsidiary Eagle Realty Group the largest office building in southern Ohio, the Great American Tower at Queen City Square.[3] Barrett's leadership in securing a tenant for the Tower helped to ensure its success.[4] The Great American Tower, opened in January 2011, is part of the Queen City Square complex that totals more than one million square feet.

Molly leads strategic direction for the company and Al. Neyer’s management team. She also drives the company’s initiatives to identify new growth markets and continue to develop its presence in Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Nashville. Prior to her appointment as President & CEO, Molly North served as chief financial officer following years of leadership in real estate development and finance at the company. Molly has significant experience in sophisticated capital instruments such as New Markets Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, and Tax Increment Financing. She has a special passion for urban redevelopment and a track record of executing otherwise ‘impossible’ deals. Ms. North earned a Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati in Finance and Accounting and spent six years in the banking industry and four years in public accounting prior to joining Al. Neyer.

Johnna Reeder is president & CEO of REDI Cincinnati. She was named to her current position in April 2014.

Johnna was previously the vice president of community relations and economic development for Duke Energy, Ohio and Kentucky. Prior to joining Duke Energy, Johnna led community relations, government affairs and foundation giving for Citi Corporation in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. Before relocating to Greater Cincinnati in 2000, Johnna directed a chamber of commerce and downtown development corporation in Tennessee.

C. A. Dobbs Ackermann, President and Chief Executive Officer, has literally grown up with the company, working for the Ackermann Group as a boy doing what he could after school and during the summer for the business. Along the way, Dobbs has used his leadership skills, vision for growth, public speaking and municipal relationship building skills to help Ackermann Group continue to grow.

Dobbs has gained experience and education in real estate with formal training in site work, residential construction, and commercial construction. He has onsite operations experience in real estate for office, retail and apartments as well as day-to-day experience in sales, marketing and leasing. Dobbs is experienced in government approval processes including permitting, variances, zone changes, smart code over lays and planned developments. Dobbs has development experience including subdivisions, retail, office, apartments and housing. He has public funding experience with tax increment financing, industrial revenue bonds, new market tax credits and revenue agreements (state and municipal).

Dobbs is dedicated to making our region one of the most vibrant places to live, work and reside. Commissioner Todd Portune was elected to Hamilton County Board of Commissioners

on November 2, 2000, after having served eight years on the Cincinnati City Council.

Commissioner Portune has been re-elected four times and is currently serving his fifth

He also served as President of the Board of Hamilton County Commissioners on two

separate occasions spanning three years – first from 2007 through December 2008 and

again in 2010 from June through December. During his tenure as President, while

facing serious budget challenges brought on by the recession, Commissioner Portune

introduced zero based budget principles, mandates reviews, and aggressively pursued

shared services and government reforms which lead to a reduction in the size of county

government by 25% while the county maintained its full menu of services. Despite a

30% drop in revenues, the county had annually balanced budgets, improved reserves

and strengthened its financial picture.

Portune’s growth agenda for the county focused on sound land use planning, regional

transportation enhancements and strategic economic development investments. At his

lead, the promise of “The Banks” Riverfront Redevelopment Project gained new life

within months of him taking the helm as President of the Board of County

Commissioners.

Other important initiatives Commissioner Portune continues to work on are:

 Transportation – His major focus for the future is addressing the gaps in our

region’s transportation infrastructure for the movement of people and goods

through the region. Because of the confluence of improvements to the Panama

and Suez Canals; changes in the arctic ice cap and location of new and cheap

energy in Eastern Ohio, Hamilton County can become the inland port of choice in

North America for the movement of goods. As such, our region’s efforts will

generate an economic revival that will create jobs and sustain a vibrant local

economy over the next century. Commissioner Portune is committed to

“Transporting Hamilton County into the 21 st Century” by developing rail and trail

corridors for both forms of transit; construct and finance the Western Hills

Viaduct Project; plan multi-modal regional transportation system; create multi-

state transportation commission with Kentucky and Indiana with regional

transportation system funding plan which he predicts will double the number of

accessible jobs accessible by public transit.

Commissioner Portune resides in Green Township with his three children.

Dan has been involved with the commercial real estate and construction industry for over thirty-five years, continuing the family heritage that began over 100 years ago in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. In 1995, Dan formed Neyer Properties, Inc. to pursue his vision of creating value in office, retail, industrial, medical and, most recently, hospitality and multi-family products. Neyer Properties is a fully integrated real estate company specializing in development, construction, financing and management of sustainable land and building developments, with properties in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Dan is highly respected and knowledgeable in all phases of the development of commercial real estate and uses his leadership and experience to be an advocate for positive change in our community. He has been directly involved in the development of over 3,000 acres of property and over 500 building and development projects, totaling well over $1.5 billion in value.

Harry Black is City Manager of the City of Cincinnati. Black took office Sept. 8, 2014, and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of City government.

As the chief administrator for the City and its 6,300 employees, Black is committed to building a customer-centric workforce and responsible and effective economic development policies and practices that support the growth of jobs and economic opportunity for all Cincinnatians. He is also committed to building strategic and tactical financial management policies and practices that ensure sustainable fiscal responsibility and vitality.

In his previous role as Finance Director of the City of Baltimore, Black oversaw an All-Funds Budget of $3.3 billion supporting a workforce of 15,000 providing services to more than 620,000 residents, and achieved an S&P upgrade of Baltimore’s bond rating. One direct contributor to the City of Baltimore’s bond rating upgrade was the 10-year financial plan, Change to Grow, created through a process Black and his office led.

Black, is the author of "Achieving Economic Development Success: Tools that work. A nuts and bolts primer for local governments desiring to improve their economic development policies, strategies and practices." The book was published by the International City/County Management Association.

Before working to improve Baltimore’s finances, Black joined his wife in co- managing Global Commerce Solutions, Inc., a District of Columbia-based Government Services firm founded by both. The firm provided program management and turn-key staff augmentation solutions to various public sector organizations, including the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Department of Agriculture and the District of Columbia, as well as several private sector clients.

Black held the position of Vice President and program manager of McKissack & McKissack in Washington D.C. The firm was extensively involved in supporting the U.S. Department of Labor’s development and construction of a state-of-the-art Jobs Corps center in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as the design, renovation and new construction of numerous other Job Corps projects across the country, such as dormitories, food service, academic, recreation, athletic, medical/dental and child development center facilities.

Between 2005 and 2008, Black served as the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Richmond, Va. His duties included managing the day-to-day operations of the City’s financial operations portfolio. Richmond has a 4,500 person workforce and an all-funds budget of $1.4 billion. In Richmond, Black led an effort to renovate a dilapidated theatre into a state-of-the-art performing arts center. As a means of bridging a debt ceiling challenge for the City, Black introduced one of the first public sector commercial paper programs, which allowed the City to bridge its debt ceiling challenge while still being able to pursue strategic community revitalization efforts. He and his team were also able to secure a bond rating upgrade for the City’s water and wastewater utility.

Black’s extensive public service career also includes stints with the New York City Transit Authority, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, New York City’s Mayor’s Office of Contracts and the District of Columbia’s City Council. Black has served on multiple boards of directors. He is a member and chair of the Virginia State University Board of Visitors and a board member of the National Federation for Black Public Administrators.

John Rickert, CCIM founded SVN |RICORE Investment Management, Inc. in 2001.

John’s real estate background includes extensive real estate investment management,

acquisition and disposition including substantial experience with distressed debt and distressed

assets.

SVN|RICORE’s core business is composed of commercial real estate brokerage; leasing and

investment sale; property management, court appointed receivership services, general

contracting and construction management.

So far in 2017, SVN|RICORE’s staff of 48 has continued their regional leadership managing $250

million of annual investment revenue attributed to approximately 1,050 tenants in 254 assets.

SVN|RICORE’s National Accounts practice is working with 9 separate companies including other

SVN affiliates managing and leasing over 200 properties in 16 states. In 2017, SVN|RICORE’s

general contracting and construction management company, General Contracting Partners

(GCP), is expected to complete 18 projects valued at just less than $35 million.

John received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science at the University of

Richmond, VA. John is a graduate of Culver Military Academy and a former United States Army

Officer and helicopter pilot. John is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager and an Ohio

and Kentucky Real Estate Broker. John is the recipient of numerous awards within the SVN

franchise family for his contribution to SVN’s national growth and SVN|RICORE’s franchise

leadership.

Jeanne Schroer is the President/CEO of the Catalytic Development Funding Corp. of Northern

Kentucky, a not-for- profit company that provides capital and development services to real estate

developers and local governments undertaking projects in Northern Kentucky’s urban

neighborhoods. The Catalytic Fund has a $10,000,000 real estate investment fund it uses to

provide equity investments, secondary/mezzanine, bridge loans and other creative financing

structures to execute quality residential and mixed-use projects. The organization also has a

full time staff to provide real estate development services such as transaction structuring,

property analysis, land assemblage, and financial feasibility analysis. The Catalytic Fund was

certified by the US Department of Treasury as a CDFI in 2015.

Schroer has 35 years of experience as a real estate professional. She began her real estate

career as a Financial Analyst with Urban Investment and Development Company in Chicago,

developer of large urban mixed-use projects such as Water Tower Place in Chicago and Copley

Place in Boston. In 1984, she joined Corporex Companies and held positions of Financial

Analyst, Manager – Capital Acquisition, Director – Mortgage & Equity Group, and Senior Vice

President and Member of Corporex’s Executive Management Board. Her primary

responsibilities at Corporex included arranging debt and equity financing transactions for

Corporex’s development projects, arranging permanent loans and asset sales, managing lender

and investor relationships, and completing the annual valuation of real estate assets and the

consolidated corporate Business Plan. Schroer also held the position of Vice President of

Finance at Tipton Associates between 1989 and 1991. Prior to joining the Catalytic Fund,

Schroer was the Interim Director of the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Center and Field

Service Professor of Real Estate.

Schroer graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of

Urban Planning and a Certificate in Economics. She also received a Master of Business

Administration in Finance and Real Estate from Indiana University. Schroer holds the

professional designation Counselor of Real Estate (CRE), a credential awarded to individuals

invited by their peers into the membership of The Counselors of Real Estate. The credential

signifies professional achievement in the real estate counseling profession and demonstrates

peer recognition of outstanding intelligence, integrity, and judgment in real estate.

In addition to her professional work, Schroer has been active in numerous community planning

efforts and real estate professional organizations. She was Co-Chairman of the Urban Centers

Task Force for Quest – Northern Kentucky in 2020 and a member of the Riverfront Advisors

Commission, which created the original plan for “The Banks”. She is a member of the Board of

Advisors for Real Estate (BEARE) for UC’s Real Estate Center and served as Chairman of UC’s

Real Estate Executive Advisory Committee (REEAC). She was President of the Cincinnati

Chapter of NAIOP and is currently a member of the Executive Committee of Urban Land

Institute. Schroer was a member of the Executive Board and Regional Stewardship Council of

Vision 2015 and is now a member of Allies for Economic Growth. Schroer also serves on the

Executive Board of the Covington Business Council, the Foundation Board of Gateway

Community and Technical College, the Board of Governors of the Metropolitan Club, the

Campbell County Leadership Action Group, the US Bank Northern Kentucky Board of Advisors,

and the Tri-County Economic Development (Tri-ED) Board. She was a member of the

Leadership Kentucky Class of 2014.

In 2011, Schroer was the recipient of the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Center

Distinguished Real Estate Professional Award and was named by the Cincinnati Enquirer as

one of the “Twenty Businesswomen to Watch in 2012”. She also received the 2012 Covington

Business Council “Founder’s Award”, the 2012 Center for Great Neighborhoods “Great

Tom Rowe is the co-founder of Terrex, LLC, a development and construction company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tom has been active in the real estate industry for over 20 years. He graduated cum laude from Michigan State in 1994, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1998 and from Loyola University Chicago Graduate School of Business in 2000. He is actively involved in ULI Cincinnati, having been the former District Council Chair and the current Chairperson of the ULI Advisory Board. Tom is also a leader within the community, sitting on the boards of Hyde Park School and the Hyde Park Neighborhood Council.

Kevin Schutte is the Managing Director for CBRE’s Cincinnati office. As Managing Director, he supervises a team of over 175 employees including approximately 40 leasing and sales professionals who specialize in investment properties, global workplace solutions, asset services, project management, valuation and portfolio administration. His responsibilities include business development, service delivery, community and industry relations, recruiting, hiring, and client relations and the overall profitability of the CBRE Cincinnati office.

Kevin has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience in the greater Cincinnati area. Prior to joining CBRE, he worked at Skanska USA Building, where he was responsible for the company’s business development in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. During his time with Skanska, Kevin’s leadership helped the firm significantly increase its revenue in the Cincinnati region.
