Prior to founding City Pads LLC, Andy Ahitow was the founder of Chicago Apartment

Finders (“CAF”), a company he grew to 5 locations with 150+ employees. During his

helm at CAF, Andy formed a development partnership with Marc Realty Residential

(“MRR”) where as Director of Development, he oversaw the construction of

approximately $338M of real estate value. He also expanded CAF into property

management to manage the rapidly growing portfolio. The success of CAF was

recognized by Coldwell Banker and in September 2015 Andy sold the company to

pursue and focus on his own development projects. Following the sale, City Pads LLC

was started with the vision of developing residential properties that match his own

personal attention to detail with forward thinking projects that combat the demand of

modern renters looking for convenience, style and value. In the 4 years since its

conception, City Pads has acquired and developed 15 developments worth

approximately $111M in real estate value. Andy is responsible for overseeing all

operations of the company’s growth and current $111 million portfolio.

Richard Harris is Senior Manager of the Community Account Representative team for

Xfinity Communities. Richard and his team are dedicated to ensuring that Property

Managers, Community Boards and residents have an amazing experience when they

engage with Comcast. Richard started his career in the field as a Community Account

Representative and during his time, has grown to lead a team of 4 Managers and 42

Community account representatives.While Richard has always been a huge fan of

Xfinity’s state-of-the-art Internet and TV service, he is really excited for his team to

support the recently launched Smart Communities, an innovative IoT platform that

automates property management and helps attract residents by bringing smart

technologies to individual units.

Randy Fifield blazed a trail many women chose not to pursue. With a design-forward, yet practical approach for creating spaces that felt and worked better for people, Randy set herself apart from competition in the industry. She partnered with her husband Steve in 1999, and together they completed multiple successful development projects including an $80 million renovation of the Chicago Civic Opera House, and the $800 million K Station development with 2,145 units in five apartment towers in Chicago’s up-and-coming West Loop. Randy now oversees the design, marketing, and execution of development projects across key markets.

She has been honored by the LA Lakers and Comerica Bank as Business Woman of the Year in Los Angeles. In Chicago, Randy was Connect Media’s 2017 Women in Real Estate Honoree, was the recipient of the 2017 Women in Construction Woman of the Year Award and has been honored by Chicago Business Journal and Crain’s as a notable female executive.

Randy attended Northwestern University. She serves as a board member of Northwestern Prentice Hospital and Children’s Memorial Hospital. Randy and family have donated The Fifield Family Labor and Delivery at Northwestern Prentice Hospital and the Fifield Family Bridge at Lurie Children’s Hospital.

Asa Sherwood, President of FirstService Residential Illinois, oversees all residential property management operations for the firm’s portfolio across the state. FirstService Residential is the largest property management company in Illinois, employing over 450 associates providing property management services to over 450 properties, containing over 90,000 residential units.

Asa is active within the industry, serving as Chairman of the Community Association Manager Licensing and Disciplinary Board within the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), and having served on the Board of Community Associations Institute (CAI) Illinois Chapter.

Asa is a licensed Illinois Community Association Manager (CAM) and has earned numerous designations, including Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialists (AMS) and the prestigious Professional Community Association Manger (PCAM).
