Farpoint Development’s founding Principal, Scott Goodman, is an innovative real estate

leader who cares deeply about how a development relates to the community it sits

within.

For 30+ years, Scott Goodman has successfully helped neighborhoods and buildings

thrive by retaining the integrity of the neighborhood while making a culturally unique

home for businesses and people.

Goodman focused on launching Sterling Bay in the mid-1980s, a firm that grew to

national acclaim under his drive for innovation. He deployed a visionary approach to

revitalizing existing commercial buildings and new developments in unexpected

locations. He implemented strategies like warehouse loft office space and the

condo/commercial subdivision of buildings. These concepts in adaptive reuse stood

out in the world of commercial development.

As a leader, Goodman brought together a team that infused artistry, architecture, and

experience into each development. Over the years, he championed major projects for

such prestigious clients as Google, Sara Lee, and gogo, bringing deep insights into how

people and office tenants experience and benefit from a development within a

community.

After Sterling Bay, Goodman sought to transition to a more streamlined operation that

was even more responsive to client and community needs. His focus on investor

relations, procurement of financing and equity and transaction structuring serve as the

foundation for Farpoint Development.

Under Goodman’s guidance, Farpoint has been defining and delivering notable Chicago

projects, from the purchase and enhancement of Prairie Shores in the Bronzeville

community to the development of the 100-acre Bronzeville Lakefront, a mixed-use

district championing life sciences and health innovation in Chicago.

Goodman’s insight and sense for real estate reinvention come from a diverse

education, background, and sense of commitment to a cause. Goodman’s Bachelor of

Science in Economics was earned at the University of Michigan. Additionally, he

received an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. As

his career accelerated, he served as the former Board Chair of the PKD Foundation and

Heartland Alliance and is a current Board Member for both prestigious organizations.

His membership in the Chicago Economics Club offers insight to his fiscal acumen as

well.

Goodman’s long-standing leadership, attention to detail and deep building experience

Mr. McElroy founded Level-1 Global Solutions, LLC in 2001-present and is a member of the Mayor’s Office of Technology Advisors and The Chicago Community Trust. Level-1 is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) licensed, certified, and registered in the City of Chicago, County of Cook, and State of Illinois.

Thomas McElroy is the founder and president of Level-1 Global Solutions, LLC. Since the firm’s first project at the New Cook County Hospital in 2001, Level-1 has been a timely, reliable, and costeffective resource in meeting the City of Chicago’s infrastructure needs. Mr. McElroy prides himself and his company on building and maintaining stellar relationships with Level-1 customers and team members – relationships built on mutual respect, trust, open communication, and the successful meeting of shared goals. Damian Eallonardo, Regional President overseeing W.E. O’Neil’s Chicago, Nashville, and Austin offices, is a 37-year veteran of the commercial construction industry and has overseen more than $3 billion in construction over the course of his career. Through his involvement in the industry, Damian has developed a keen sense of Chicago’s ever-changing commercial real estate and development market and has successfully devised and implemented construction solutions to assist clients in navigating these conditions. More specifically, he has extensive experience in the evolving world of the skilled labor market and the greater economic forces driving design and construction costs. Prior to joining W.E. O’Neil, Damian served in executive leadership roles for two other major Chicago general contractors. Damian is a LEED Accredited Professional and is also a board member of the Chicagoland Associated General Contractors. Damian earned an Associate of Science in Construction Management from Triton College and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin University.

A former business representative for IBEW Local 134 and longtime member of the union, Elbert Walters III now serves as the Director for Powering Chicago, leading the organization’s 100+ philanthropic and community impact initiatives each year and playing a key role in its daily operations. Walters brings to the position a deep understanding of the unionized electrical industry’s commitment to better construction, better careers and better communities.

Molly is a partner in the Chicago Office of Siegel Jennings, a national property tax law firm. As a litigator and trusted advisor, she collaborates with Owners, Asset Managers, Acquisition teams and Tax Departments to identify, create and execute property tax reduction strategies. She becomes a member of her clients’ management team. Her goal is to maximize and protect the full potential of real estate assets, minimize related tax liabilities, and resolve disputes with tax authorities and government entities.

Molly’s client experience ranges from family owned 1031 portfolios to national commercial investment funds, including special use properties such as hospital campuses to multi-million-dollar manufacturing facilities.

Her comprehensive understanding of the commercial real estate market was developed in part through her time as a real estate broker in the Chicago area prior to starting her legal career. Molly regularly represents clients in hearings before review boards, local assessors’ offices, the

Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board, and the circuit courts.

Prior to beginning his career in Cook County government, Fritz spent more than 20 years valuing assets as a mutual fund portfolio manager and analyst. In his 13 years at Columbia Wanger Asset Management, Fritz served as a financial steward, helping average families save for retirement and focusing on small companies operating around the world. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Illinois Assessment Officer designations. He is also a member of the IAAO, the International Association of Assessing Officers.

Since assuming office in 2018, Fritz has brought fairness, ethics and transparency to the Cook County Assessor’s Office with a vision focused on operational changes, technological upgrades, and the elimination of favoritism. These changes have increased predictability in the assessment system and spurred investment in Chicago and Cook County.

Fritz was born and raised in the Hyde Park neighborhood in Chicago and still maintains close ties to the community. He attended Hyde Park’s Kenwood Academy for high school, completed his undergraduate studies at Haverford College, and received his MBA from Stanford University.

In 2020 Fritz received the A. Philip Randolph Change Agent Award from the National A. Philip Randolph Pullman Porter Museum and in 2021 the Adlai Stevenson Award for Public Service from the Chicago chapter of the American Society for Public Administration.

Fritz’s wife Rebecca is a teacher; they live in Oak Park, with their three children, where Fritz is a member of First United Methodist Church of Oak Park.

As Chief Investment Officer & Partner, Daniel leads the company’s overall investment strategy. His responsibilities include sourcing and analyzing potential investment opportunities, building the capital stack, and structuring joint ventures. He also assists with portfolio management and investor relations.

Prior to joining LG, Daniel served as a Vice President of JLL’s Capital Markets Group where he focused on development and adaptive reuse assets. Daniel has closed over $1 billion of real estate transactions during his 17 years in the industry.

Daniel holds a BA in Business Communications from the University of Kansas and a certificate in urban real estate from the UIC Graduate School of Business. He is a LEED accredited professional and a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Jason Lewis is a Portfolio Manager for the Trumbull Property Fund (TPF) for Real Estate US, a business which forms part of Real Estate & Private Markets within UBS Asset Management.

Jason has over 15 years of real estate investment management experience having completed over $4B in transactions and serving roles in acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, portfolio management and performance measurement.

Prior to joining UBS, Jason was the Head of Portfolio and Asset Management for CA Residential, a national multifamily developer.

For 13 years of his career, Jason worked with Capri Capital Partners, where he was Partner, Head of Asset Management, Co-Head of Investments and a Member of the Investment Committee. Jason was the Portfolio Manager for the firms largest separate account and its flagship multifamily closed-end fund vehicle.

Jason earned a BS in Mathematics from Morehouse College, and an M.B.A from Columbia Business School, and he is a member of the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC), ULI and NCREIF.

Victoria L. Noonan leads Cushman & Wakefield in metro Chicago. As Managing Principal, Noonan

provides strategic leadership to a team of more than 300 professionals who create holistic solutions

for the firm’s investor and occupier clients across the region. Additionally, she shapes the firm’s

Chicago growth strategies and recruiting efforts.

A Chicago native, Noonan joined Cushman & Wakefield from Tishman Speyer, where she enjoyed a

three-decade career and led the firm’s Chicago and Milwaukee leasing teams. As one of Chicago’s

most respected commercial real estate executives, her market knowledge, brand-management skills

and vision are unsurpassed.

Daniel Biss is mayor of Evanston, Illinois. He began his career as a mathematics professor at the University of Chicago before becoming an organizer and then elected official. He served as a member of the Illinois House and Illinois Senate and ran an insurgent grassroots campaign for the Democratic nomination for governor, coming in second in a crowded field. His campaigns and public service have all featured a strong commitment to public engagement, political reform, and economic justice.

Mr. Metcalf is Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial Real Estate Lending at Inland Bank

and Trust. He brings over 17 years of experience in both commercial real estate underwriting

and loan origination. Mr. Metcalf began his career with Inland Bank in 2004 and spent

approximately 10 years in the Credit Administration group where he oversaw a team of credit

analysts who were responsible for underwriting all loan requests for the bank, including

commercial real estate, owner-occupied real estate, and business lines of credit. In June 2016,

Mr. Metcalf re-joined Inland Bank as Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Lending and was

appointed Head of Commercial Real Estate in April of 2019. Over the last 5 years he has

originated over $350 million of new commercial real estate loans secured by retail, office,

industrial, and multi-family assets.

Rahul Shah is a Managing Principal at Sherpa Capital Group, LLC (Sherpa), co-founding the company in 2010.

Sherpa manages a private capital fund that specializes in originating bridge and hard money loans secured by commercial real estate. Sherpa has funded more than 250 transactions and is a direct lender with its own proprietary capital. All credit decisions and servicing administrations are performed in house by the firm's principals. Before co-founding Sherpa, Rahul founded a mortgage banking company. He originated more than $500M in residential and small balance commercial loans.

Previously, Rahul was a Manager of Business Development and Strategic Alliance at Encyclopedia Britannica executing internet strategy. Prior to Britannica, he was a Senior Consultant in the Transaction Advisory Group at Arthur Andersen. His focus was performing due diligence on corporate finance transactions involving financial institutions, private equity firms and mid-sized corporations. He consulted on more than 50 transactions in various industries with deal sizes ranging from $50M to $1B. Rahul is a CPA and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with Concentration in Finance.
