Why You Should Attend This Event

Charlotte’s healthcare real estate market continues to evolve alongside rapid population growth, shifting patient expectations, and expanding regional health systems. As major providers balance consolidation with access, new development is targeting a mix of large-scale campuses and smaller, outpatient facilities designed for flexibility and efficiency.

Rising construction costs, higher interest rates, and changing reimbursement models are prompting both investors and systems to rethink where and how they deploy capital. Meanwhile, advancements in technology and care delivery are driving demand for modern, accessible facilities that bring services closer to patients.

Bisnow’s Charlotte Healthcare Real Estate Conference will explore how developers, investors, and healthcare leaders are navigating this transformation—unpacking the strategies shaping medical office investment, hospital expansion, and the next generation of healthcare infrastructure across the Carolinas.

What You'll Learn:

  • How health systems are balancing large-scale hospital investments with smaller, flexible care facilities closer to patients.

  • How private development can support system growth .

  • Where expansion efforts are concentrating across the Carolinas — and which submarkets show the greatest potential for new medical office and outpatient growth.

  • How investor and developer strategies are navigating higher costs, tighter capital markets, and evolving system partnerships.

  • What design, technology, and operational trends are shaping the next generation of healthcare campuses and medical office assets.

  • How consolidation, collaboration, and patient-centered care are redefining real estate strategy and long-term opportunity in the healthcare sector.
