Damon Hemmerdinger is Co-President of ATCO, the owner and developer of Camp North End. He first visited this property in early 2014, and finally closed on the purchase in late 2016. Camp was “his idea,” and he supports the project team in all aspects of the work to develop the project. In addition, Damon leads ATCO’s investment and development business, oversees its finance and accounting function, and manages its strategic and corporate affairs. In addition to its work in Charlotte, ATCO is actively developing four projects in Austin TX and operates a portfolio of office and residential property in New York City. He, his wife, and their two daughters live in the Forest Hills Gardens neighborhood of Queens, NY.

Mark is a Deal Principal and Managing Director on the Development and Investments team. In that role, he leads underwriting, capitalization, and sourcing efforts for industrial, multifamily, retail, and office transactions in North and South Carolina.

Previous to Foundry, Mark was the Senior Vice President & Managing Director for Cousins Properties’ Charlotte portfolio, acting as market leader for six years. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President and Partner at Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, leading up to and including that firm’s acquisition by Foundry in 2015. He also spent nine years within Bank of America’s corporate real estate department, where he was a Senior Vice President and Transaction Director for a 20-million square foot portfolio in the Southeastern US.

Mark holds a Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration, a Six Sigma Black Belt, and is currently a Board Director for Charlotte Center City Partners.

As CEO, Steve leads all aspects of The Spectrum Companies, implementing strategy, guiding team leaders, and overseeing the operations of its four service lines: Asset Management, Capital Management, Development, and Contract Services.

A 16-year veteran of the company, Steve joined Spectrum’s commercial leasing team in 2004, then led its residential division for 10 years before being named Chief Operating Officer in January of 2017.

Steve was the key leader in forming Spectrum’s new vision to become an evergreen company and establishing our mission to “change lives by creating special places.” He is responsible for ensuring team members are aligned and focused on living our vision and mission daily.

Steve lives in Charlotte with his wife, Erin, and their two small children, Grace and Jack.

For more than 26 years, Taiwo has worked in the public and private

sectors as a City Planner and Transit Planner both in the United States

and internationally. As a City Planner, Taiwo worked with several cities

in preparing General Plans, Zoning Amendments, TOD District

Ordinance, Design Reviews and processing various land use planning

entitlements. As a Senior Transit Planner, Taiwo managed multi-million

dollar federally-funded light rail, bus rapid transit and streetcar projects

across the United States, including the first operating Bus Rapid Transit

project in the State of Michigan. In addition, he was an Adjunct

Professor of Transportation Planning with the Grand Valley State

University, Michigan. Taiwo is a Board member of the Charlotte Center

City Partners (CCCP) and University City Partners (UCP), a member of

the American Planning Association (APA), Women’s Transportation

Seminar (WTS) and the American Public Transportation Association.

Prior to joining the City of Charlotte as Planning Director, he worked as

a private consultant and was an executive for HNTB, a Charlotte

infrastructure consulting firm.

Brian Natwick was promoted to President of Crescent Communities’ multifamily business in 2011. In this role, Mr. Natwick leads Crescent’s multifamily business across the Southeast and Southwest with an active investment and development portfolio of 34 communities (11,000 units) completed or under construction representing $2.2 billion in capital deployed. In addition, his team is planning another round of investments of 26 communities (8,500 units) totaling $2 billion in capitalization. With 20 years of real estate experience, he oversees all aspects of strategy, business development, capital deployment, and execution of all new luxury apartment communities. Mr. Natwick previously served as Regional Vice President and joined Crescent in 2006.

Prior to Crescent, Mr. Natwick held senior management and executive positions at Centex (now Balfour Beatty), Skanska USA, and Moss & Associates and was responsible for $500 million (7,500 units/keys) of multifamily and hotel development. He has provided development services for clients such as Walt Disney Imagineering, LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels and the Blackstone Group.

Active in the community and industry, Mr. Natwick serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity Charlotte (past chair) and the McColl School of Business at Queens University and is an active member of Urban Land Institute (MF Gold Product Council), National Multi Housing Council and Young Presidents' Organization. He graduated with highest honors from the University of Florida with a degree in building construction and earned a master’s in business administration from the McColl School of Business at Queens University in Charlotte.

Walker serves as Chief Operating Officer. He brings over twenty years of experience and achievement in hospitality financing along with in-depth knowledge of the Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, and Hyatt brands. His exceptionally sharp skill in interpreting and evaluating hotel financing options has allowed him to build meaningful relationships with hospitality lenders all over the country. Prior to joining MJM Group, Walker held the position of Managing Director Capital Markets with Paramount Lodging Advisors, a prominent hotel advisory firm.

At MJM Group, Walker supports the site selection process based upon market demand, brand and cost criteria, as well as generating project development budgets, pro formas, and capital structure analysis. MJM relies on Walker's proven ability to facilitate communication with lenders and investors and to support collaborative relationships with key entities that include the architect, civil engineer, general contractor and hotel management company associated with each project.

Matt leads Beacon Partners build-to-suit, speculative and tenant-improvement construction management functions by providing our clients with exceptional service throughout all phases of design, construction and occupancy.

Matt has nearly twenty years of experience in the Carolinas and has managed various industrial, office, healthcare and institutional projects. Matt is a member of the NAIOP Trends in Real Estate Development National Forum and he earned LEED Accredited Professional designations in 2006. Prior to joining Beacon Partners in 2007, he was employed as Project Manager and Regional Quality Manager of Lend Lease.

In addition, Matt volunteers by helping organizations that focus on at-risk youth as well as enjoying time at home with his family. He holds a B.S. degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Tim Miller is President and Co-Founder of Barringer Construction and is responsible for the

implementation of business strategy, overall financial health and risk management strategies for the

company. Barringer Construction is a customer-centric, team oriented, community focused commercial

general contractor serving the Carolinas with offices in Charlotte and Raleigh. The company specializes

in delivering exceptional building experiences within the market sectors of Corporate Interiors, Mission

Critical, Institutional, Hospitality, Commercial and Healthcare. Tim supports the 7x24 Exchange NC

Chapter through the Thought Leadership committee as well as being actively involved with the YMCA of

Greater Charlotte where he chairs the Capital Campaign Committee for Camp Thunderbird. Tim

graduated first in his class from Virginia Military Institute with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.

Cristi Lewis is an audit partner based in CohnReznick’s Charlotte office. She is a member of the firm’s Construction Industry Practice. Cristi has more than 15 years of public accounting experience encompassing financial statement audits, accounting, business consulting, agreed upon procedures engagements, regulatory compliance and benefit plan audits. Her industry experience includes construction contractors, commercial real estate, residential multi-family housing, and governmental agencies (including PHAs). She has also worked with many small business clients.

Throughout her career, Cristi has been tasked with planning and performing audit, tax, and agreed upon procedures engagements while also providing training, supervision and work reviews for audit associates. She has extensive experience planning and executing audits in compliance with GAGAS, HUD audit guidelines, and OMB A-133. Her real estate and construction industry experience includes commercial and multi-family residential, land development, specialty contractors and property management. She has also worked extensively on due diligence engagements for an SEC client relative to the acquisition of contractors across the country.
