Brett joined Tocci Building Companies in November of 2015 as Project Executive/Director of Construction. Boasting an extensive 25-year background in design and engineering on a variety of high-profile hospital, healthcare, and higher-education projects in the Boston area, Flanders had an immediate impact overseeing day-to-day construction, management, and administrative activities for assigned projects.

Prior to joining Tocci, Flanders served as a Project Executive at Gilbane, Inc., where he was responsible for the execution and delivery of developments primarily in the Healthcare and Institutional markets. During his construction career, he has worked on numerous significant projects including the MIT Stata Center, Fogg Art Museum at Harvard University, Dana-Farber Yawkey Center for Cancer Care, Saint Vincent Hospital Cancer & Wellness Center, and UNH Kingsbury Hall.

Flanders received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Ohio University and his Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Rhode Island. Additionally, he is a certified Professional Engineer in Maine and Massachusetts. Currently, Flanders resides in Merrimack, NH, and serves on the local Youth Baseball Board of Directors. In his free time, he enjoys skiing and an active lifestyle.

Stacey consistently strives to foster a collaborative team environment in order to produce highly successful outcomes. She works with healthcare clients and the design team to create supportive, healing healthcare spaces that inspire patients, family and staff. Stacey oversees the management of team members, contracts, project scope, budget, schedule and project delivery, with several current and completed projects utilizing the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method. She is currently responsible for managing a large scale, complex IPD project at Boston Medical Center due to be completed in 2018.

Stacey graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science and is a LEED Accredited Professional. A past presenter at MedEd, Healthcare Facilities Symposium and ABX, Stacey regularly speaks at conferences and contributes to industry journals on healthcare design topics.

Jeff is the Program Manager for the Timber & Innovations Group of Lendlease. Currently, he is responsible for promoting and increasing the use of Mass Timber (including Cross Laminated Timber, “CLT”) for a variety of Lendlease endeavors. He is a Certified Green Professional and applies his construction management expertise and sustainability knowledge to each project.

Since joining Lendlease in 2004, he has held multiple positions with escalating responsibilities for ensuring the delivery and operational excellence of the Privatized Army Lodging and Military Housing Privatization Initiative programs.

A recent key accomplishment is the successful delivery of the new Candlewood Suites Hotel at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. This groundbreaking project is the 1st hotel in the United States to utilize Cross Laminated Timber(CLT). Currently it is also the tallest building in the US to utilize CLT for the walls, floors and roof structure. This project has attained a LEED Silver Certification and is projected to consume 31% less energy than a similarly sized hotel in the same climate. This project initially began as an idea to research the practicality of CLT as a potential structural system for buildings which then evolved into analysis of the manufacturing supply chain and design capabilities, schematic design, full design, procurement, and construction delivery finally culminating into an actual project.

Prior to leading the Lendlease team in the construction of new hotels for the Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) Program he was the Senior Project Engineer at Fort Campbell, KY. He pioneered new approaches to energy and resource conservation in Lendlease’s groundbreaking Zero Energy Homes project at Fort Campbell. This LEED Platinum certified project was the 1st Zero Energy Duplex in the United States and the 1st Zero Energy homes on a military installation. This award winning project provided a creative and viable strategy for achieving real change in the environmental impact of our buildings.

Jeff earned a B.S. and M.S. in Building Construction Management from Purdue University. In 2013, he was recognized by Professional Builder Magazine's ""40 Under 40"" awards.

Douglas J. Manz is a Partner and the Director of Development at The HYM Investment Group, LLC. HYM is currently leading the development of over eighteen (18) million square feet of mixed-use development in Greater Boston, including Bulfinch Crossing (Government Center Garage Redevelopment) and Suffolk Downs. Mr. Manz previously served as a Development Partner for JPI and Vice President of Development for Northland Investment Corporation where he focused on the permitting and development of high-rise, mid-rise and low-rise multifamily projects. Prior to that, he held various positions with Leggat McCall Properties in Boston. In 2013, Mr. Manz was appointed to and served on the City of Cambridge Transportation Advisory Committee and is a member of ULI and NAIOP. Mr. Manz is a graduate of Cornell University and the Harvard University School of Design.

As President, Jim Halliday is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the Company. In leading the Senior Management Team, Jim is responsible for coordinating the efforts of all aspects and functions of the Company. In sharing functional responsibilities with the other members of the Senior Management Team, Jim has primary responsibility for the leasing, property management, and financing efforts of the portfolio.

Jim and the NB Development Team are currently working on executing the collaborative vision of New Balance and the community of Allston Brighton to transform Boston Landing into an exciting new and lively new mixed use district comprised of innovation, health & wellness, living and 18-hour/7-Days retail & restaurants activity, as reflected in its anchor tenancies of New Balance, Boston Bruins, and Boston Celtics.

Prior to this role, Jim served as the Real Estate Controller for the Company, where he was responsible for the financial reporting and lender & banking relationships for the Company, its property holdings, and its development projects.

Jim has over 30 years of real estate experience, including Vice-President of Company Operations & Controller for Winstanley Enterprises, and as a Senior Asset Manager with Spaulding & Slye Investments, Great Point Investors, and Liberty Real Estate Group. Jim also held financial reporting related positions with Liberty Real Estate Group, The Beacon Companies, and Boston Properties.

Jim obtained his MBA from Suffolk University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University. Jim is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker. Jim was a varsity competitive swimmer while at Northeastern University. Jim is also passionate about skiing and is a PSIA certified Ski Instructor, where you can find him on the Cranmore Mountain slopes in North Conway, during the winters. Jim also serves as an Ambassador for Parlor Skis, a New England based custom fit ski-maker based in East Boston.

Brad Croft is a shareholder, a member of the Litigation Department, and Chair of the firm's Construction Law Group. He concentrates his practice on complex business matters in the areas of construction, real estate, partnership disputes, and general commercial law. In his 20 years as a trial attorney, Brad has represented clients in a wide variety of matters, including construction claims, general commercial disputes, employment matters, claims against schools and universities, securities and financial services disputes, and tort claims. He has tried cases before judges, juries and arbitration panels in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Brad is a recognized leader among Massachusetts litigation and construction lawyers. He was recently selected as the 2015 Massachusetts Construction Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America, the only lawyer in Massachusetts to receive this honor. Brad recently served as co-chair of the Litigation Section of the Boston Bar Association, which has over 2,500 members. He is also the past chair of the BBA Construction Law Committee and Steering Committees for both the litigation and real estate sections. He is on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Building Congress, the oldest construction-industry trade organization in the area.

In his construction practice, Brad represents general contractors, owners, subcontractors and suppliers, as well as developers and sureties, in all aspects of construction transactions and disputes. Brad counsels his construction clients on risk avoidance and ways to minimize their exposure to liability and legal fees. His clients rely on his experience and expertise to draft and negotiate all types of contracts relating to construction projects and to resolve construction and real estate disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation in state and federal courts.

Brad also regularly represents students in private and public university disciplinary cases arising from allegations of plagiarism, assault, harassment, inappropriate sexual conduct, and underage drinking, among others. He helps students and parents navigate the often complex administrative hearing and investigation processes, advises them on their state and federal rights under Title IX, FERPA and the Clery Act, and helps with preparation of written statements, interviews, hearings, and appeals.
