As Managing Director, Sam focuses on leading Taurus’s office platform. Sam is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, underwriting and financing of new investment opportunities, including new development and redevelopment opportunities. Additionally, Sam is responsible for the ongoing performance and dispositions of the investments, including oversight of the management, leasing, marketing, financing and various other activities. Sam was previously a Regional Head of TH Real Estate (now known as Nuveen), responsible for East Coast and Midwest teams.

Quaker Lane Capital is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE certification pending) founded by Carlos Febres-Mazzei, a Philadelphia native and longtime Boston resident. Carlos is a lifelong real estate professional, having spent the last 12 years raising debt and equity capital for real estate developers and institutional investors while at Eastdil Secured, CBRE, and HFF. He has over $19 Billion in total transaction experience in across the United States, most recently in Boston, Cambridge, San Francisco, and Seattle.

Liz enjoys leading an iterative and collaborative

design process with contractors, manufacturers,

and craftspeople to create innovative features

for client and project needs. She is particularly

interested in understanding how people work

together and how to design for interaction. Using

a data-driven approach to space planning, Liz

designs functional, flexible, and time-tested spaces

for a variety of clients, while creating beautiful and

memorable places.

Liz has over 25 years of experience designing

retail, restaurants, multi-family housing, and

workplaces. Most notably, she led the building

repositioning project at 125 Summer Street, and

an office relocation and workplace strategy for

Fish & Richardson while a Senior Associate at

ADD Inc./Stantec.

Kimberly Bombery Smith, Senior Director of Workplace Strategy focuses her energy on engaging with customers to define, create, and prioritize workplace goals. Ms. Smith’s early foundation in Corporate Real Estate builds upon her formal training in design and years working with top architecture and design firms globally. This unique backdrop sets the stage for Kimberly to assist the diverse client mix of today in reaching culturally relevant workplace solutions.

Kimberly led A+D engagement in Philadelphia for eight years, and prior to joining Knoll she was a Project Manager in Corporate Real Estate at Merrill Lynch. Kimberly has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Philadelphia University where she serves on the Advancement Council for the College of Architecture and the Built Environment, and holds a degree in Construction Management. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and has a passion for sustainable design. An active member of Green Building United, she was Co-Chair

of the tours and education committee at Greenbuild Expo and has served as Secretary for IIDA in NJ. Kimberly is also a Prosci Change Management certified professional. Kimberly is the proud mother of two and the captain of a Dragonboat team in New Hope. PA.

As Fortis’ CEO, Mr. Landau has been successful in developing important real estate opportunities based on the significant real estate relationships and network which he first generated while practicing law and expanded at Fortis. Signature achievements include developing the first luxury condominium tower in New York’s Seaport District and securing the most desirable redevelopment opportunity in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn creating a new multi-block place-making residential destination, River Park.

Prior to joining Fortis, Mr. Landau practiced corporate / transactional and tax law with DLA Piper LLP for six years, primarily advising real estate companies on acquisitions, dispositions, syndications, joint ventures, entity-level investments and tax-structured transactions. Mr. Landau holds a JD from the University of Maryland.

Errol is currently the Vice President for the Atlantic Territory at WeWork with responsibility for WeWork Building Communities on the East Coast, excluding New York. Prior to WeWork, Errol was a VP with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) with responsibility for brand leadership, strategy, new business development, and brand operations. Before IHG, he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company where he worked with Global Consumer and Retail clients on Marketing, Organizational, and Growth topics. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from University of Notre Dame.

William “Wil” H. Catlin, Jr. is Partner and Managing Principal of Boston Realty Advisors, where he oversees the Commercial Leasing Division, as well as the overall strategic growth of the firm. Wil has an innate ability to translate business objectives and corporate culture into an effective environment that yields productivity and creativity.

Mr. Catlin leads a group of client-centric professionals in both tenant representation and agency leasing. Since 2017, the Commercial Leasing Division has leased over 1.5 million square feet, establishing Boston Realty Advisors as the market leader for the TAMI office sector and specialists in navigating gut rehab commercials projects throughout Greater Boston.

Mr. Catlin is an active member of NAIOP and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB). He is on the board of Love Lane Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program, The Tremont School and part of the Menlo College Alumni Association.

Mr. O'Brien previously served as a Managing Partner for JPI, a national owner of multifamily communities, and as a Managing Director in Boston and New York for Tishman Speyer, one of the world’s leading real estate firms. O'Brien also led the Boston Redevelopment Authority as its Director and Chief of Staff, overseeing the development of over 12 million square feet of projects in Boston, from 1994 to 2000. O'Brien has served as Chairman of The Greater Boston Real Estate Board and currently serves on the Board of the Taubman Center for State and Local Government at Harvard University and as Vice Chair of the Board of Overseers of The Anti-Defamation League of New England. In 2011, the Governor of Massachusetts appointed Mr. O’Brien to the Board of the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency. In 2016, Mayor Martin J. Walsh appointed O’Brien to the Board of Trustees of the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway Conservancy. O’Brien is a graduate of Brown University and Suffolk University Law School, and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.

Mr. Oliver T. Carr, III has been the President and Chief Executive Officer at Carr Properties Holdings LP since 2004. Mr. Carr co-founded Carr Capital Corporation in 1994 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer until 2005. He was responsible for managing Carr Capital, and led managing major acquisitions and financial transactions at the firm. Mr. Carr served as a Director of WashingtonFirst Bankshares, Inc. and its subsidiary WashingtonFirst Bank from December 2012 to May 17, 2013. He served as an Independent Director of Alliance Bankshares Corporation since July 2007. He received Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992 and his Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies, with a concentration in Economics, from Trinity College in 1987.

John Barros is a husband, father of four young children, community development leader, small business owner, Boston’s first Chief of Economic Development, and a former mayoral candidate for the City of Boston. A lifelong resident of Boston, John’s parents emigrated from Cabo Verde to Boston, where he attended both public and Catholic schools. At age 14, John became a community organizer with the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative (DSNI), the Roxbury and Dorchester-based community land trust; later, John became the Executive Director of DSNI, where he worked alongside community leaders to build schools, community centers, affordable housing and parks. As Chief of Economic Development, John brought 140,000 new jobs to Boston, while also investing millions of dollars in job training for local residents. As part of Boston's response to the COVID-19 crisis, John co-convened the City’s Health Inequities Task Force, which guided the city in addressing inequities in data analysis, testing sites, and healthcare services for Bostonians who are Asian, Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and immigrants.
