Why This Matters

  • Which development locations along the 128 corridor are in high demand and how developers are pinpointing specific development sites?

  • The beginning of 2020 accelerated the rush to the suburbs. Is there a strong construction pipeline for that to continue in 2022? If so, how will that impact the multifamily supply and demand market?

  • How are emerging markets such as Newton, Needham and Watertown becoming gateway areas in between downtown Boston and the burbs? What does this do for the city of Boston?

  • What is next for placemaking in the burbs and how is the next wave of suburban retail going to increase foot traffic?
