Real estate is in Joel’s DNA. The son of a Cuban architect, he grew up in Miami, traveling to inspect sites with his father and even helping to design two of his childhood homes. After attending the University of Florida and Harvard Law School, Joel became a partner at Goulston & Storrs. After leaving to conduct real estate deals on his own, he soon joined his friend, Steve Samuels, who was looking for some help in growing a development company.

Joel is passionate about seeing a new district come to life after years of work. “That’s the best part, watching our new project come to life and be woven into the fabric of the community in which it resides.”

Outside of work Joel enjoys being, quite literally, outside. He loves cycling, boating, tennis “and any other sports I can still survive.” He’s also quick to add, “I’m a big fan of American craft beers.”

Joel serves as Chair of the Boston Main Streets Foundations and as a member of the Board of Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation, a non-profit CDC that builds affordable housing and promotes economic development in Roxbury.

Dana Griffin is the Director of Development at Jamestown. Mr. Griffin joined the company in 2013 as Vice President, Development and Construction. He oversees development opportunities on select assets nationwide. Mr. Griffin’s primary responsibilities include advancing the strategic vision for an asset, determining feasibility, and establishing scope and budgets to maximize overall asset value. Prior to joining Jamestown, he was a Senior Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle. Mr. Griffin has an extensive development and construction background, with past assignments including life science work, new building infrastructure, a wide array of repositioning work, and leading entitlement efforts. He currently serves on the boards for the Back Bay Association, the Seaport TMA, A Better City, and the Boston Municipal Research Bureau. Mr. Griffin received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Mr. Bigby joined Trinity Financial in 2001 and is the Managing Director of Development for the

company. He has a wealth of experience in multi-family housing development. During Mr. Bigby’s

tenure at Trinity he has overseen the development of more than 1,500 units of housing. He enjoys

an excellent rapport with public and federal agencies and with the communities in which he has

worked. He has an aptitude for creating successful public / private partnerships and exhibits a

strong ability to manage the complex financial structures needed to complete large scale

development projects.

Prior to joining Trinity, Mr. Bigby worked in the field of affordable housing development and

management. He worked in various capacities for Boston area non-profit organizations where his

responsibilities included the management of several supported housing programs as well as property

oversight ensuring compliance with state and federal housing quality standards. Mr. Bigby holds a

Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Lisa Nickerson, winner of the 2016 PRISM Award for Marketing Professional of the Year, is the true definition of an entrepreneurial businesswoman. Having earned The Nashua Telegraph’s 91 Progress’ Entrepreneur of the Year at 17 years old, Lisa is now the CEO and founder of Nickerson PR, an award-winning full-service communications agency that offers an integrated blend of public relations, social media, digital content, creative services, and events expertise. In June of 2018, Lisa was featured on Chronicle as Greater Boston’s Real Estate Expert.

A multiple-industry award winner, Lisa is a well-respected, sought-after speaker and moderator, and a devotee of professional and community service. She is an active member of ULI | New England’s Advisory Board, ULI Women Leadership Institute Co-Chair and Communications Chair, American Marketing Association, Board Member & VP of Sponsorship, Boston Women in Media & Entertainment Board Member, former SIOR New England Board Member & Communications Chair, and a member of NAIOP and CREW.

Lisa received her Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College in Marketing and Finance. She maintains her Massachusetts Real Estate License and is currently completing her Master of Business Administration at Babson College.

Lisa received her Real Estate Certificate from Boston University. She resides in Wayland, MA, and is a proud mother of three outstanding teenagers – her two sons are highly decorated Eagle Scouts and her daughter is a competitive gymnast.

Douglass E. Karp is involved in all aspects of New England Development's business, including site acquisition, financing, permitting and planning, design, construction and leasing. He manages the firm's retail and mixed-use development projects and works closely with New England Development’s family of companies, including Nantucket Island Resorts, MarketPlace Development, The Pinehills, Newburyport Development, and Old Sandwich Golf Club. He also serves as asset manager for Nantucket Island Resorts, a collection of premier hospitality and retail properties on Nantucket.

In addition to his development and asset management experience, Mr. Karp brings to New England Development the perspective of a retailer, including expertise in market research, real estate development, and marketing. Prior to joining New England Development in 1999, Douglass co-founded Lids, the specialty retail pioneer and leader of officially licensed and branded athletic fashion headgear. Under his leadership, the firm grew to include more than 400 mall-based, airport, and street level stores throughout the country.

Mr. Karp serves on the boards of Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, Boston Youth Sanctuary, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, New England Aquarium, Surmesur, Union College, and the Massachusetts chapter of NAIOP. Douglass also serves on the Board of MGemi and on the Executive Board of Marcus Smart’s YounGameChanger Foundation. He received a B.S. degree from Union College and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management Executive Education Program.

Robert has a unique ability to see past the surface of a project to discover the opportunity hidden within. He also recognizes the importance of strong relationships in this business; over the past 25 years, he has built and maintained strong relationships with tenants, lenders, investors, partners, and professionals alike. Robert founded Mark Development (MD) in 1990 after serving seven years as Executive Vice President of Acquisitions for Triangle Capital, a national, commercial real estate developer.

Robert’s vision and his passionate, hands-on leadership are the fundamental drivers of MD’s efficiency in acting on deals where time is of the essence. Currently, he is working on commercial developments in downtown Boston, Cambridge, and Newton.

Bruce A. Percelay is chairman and founder of The Mount Vernon Company, a real estate investment firm considered among the leading apartment landlords in Massachusetts. The company has grown over the past 30 years to include approximately 1,600 apartments, 5 hotels, as well as select commercial and vacation properties.

The company received the Community Excellence Award from the Rental Housing Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, the Paragon Award for Industry excellence by the National Apartment Association, Best Landlord in Boston by Boston Magazine and Best Places to Work in Boston by the Boston Business Journal.

Percelay created the Allston Green District, an eleven building assemblage which was the largest new construction project in Allston in over half a century. The three centerpiece buildings in the Green District set a new standard for environmentally sensitive living and have won over nine awards for their forward- thinking sustainable design.

Percelay began his career in advertising and helped manage the marketing efforts for Parker Brother's Games, Keds Sneakers, and Converse Athletic Shoes. He is also credited with the development of the idea for Sunkist Orange Soda, the most successful new soft drink launch in the history of the industry.

Combining his marketing savvy with his real estate experience, Percelay next authored the top selling business book, Packaging Your Home for Profit, published by Little Brown and Company. The success of the book prompted appearances on CNN, Good Morning America and over 50 newspapers and magazines around the country. Percelay pioneered the concept of marketing and staging homes for sale and has used the theories in his book to build The Mount Vernon Company to where it is today.

Percelay has recently created a boutique hotel division of The Mount Vernon Company including 21 Broad, rated by Conde Nast as the top new boutique hotel in the world. The hotels are strategically located in resort communities including: Nantucket, Newport, Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Camden, Maine as well as a 200- room hotel in Boston.

Extremely active in support of the communities in which he lives, Percelay was the driving force behind the construction of Nantucket's new whaling museum, the most significant new building on the island in the last 100 years and is chairman of the $120 million capital campaign for the new Nantucket hospital. He is also a Presidents Council Board Member of Massachusetts General Hospital. Percelay was the chairman of the Massachusetts chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, helping it to become the most successful in the country, and chairman of Habitat for Humanity in Boston where he launched the largest urban project ever built in America during his tenure.

Percelay is the publisher of N Magazine, a publication he co-founded 15 years ago. The magazine is the leading publication of its kind on the island, has won national awards for its quality and boasts the highest income demographic of any seasonal magazine in America

In recognition of his significant service to his community, Percelay was the recipient of the Ten Outstanding Leaders award from the Boston Chamber of Commerce, as one of Boston’s top leaders in The Boston Globe’s Leaders of Boston book and received the Outstanding Achievement Award from YouthBuild Boston. Percelay received a special commendation by former Senator John Kerry for his contributions to Boston which appear in the permanent archives of the United States Congressional Record and was recently honored by the Children’s Advocacy Center for his support of children’s issues.

Percelay currently serves on the board of the Rappaport Institute at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and is honorary chairman of the Nantucket Cottage Hospital capital campaign.

Bruce shares his time between Nantucket and Boston with his wife Elisabeth and two sons William and Charlie. He is an avid boater, tennis player, and is a collector of vintage automobiles.

Previously, Mr. Sykes served on the following Boards: Ares Commercial Real Estate (NYSE: ACRE) Board of Directors & Compensation Committee, The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Board, 2008-2014 (Chairman 2012-2014, Audit Committee, Business Practices Committee), Capital Crossing Bank Preferred REIT Board of Directors (Acquired by Lehman Brothers Bank), 2004-2009, Bank Boston & Fleet Community Bank Board of Directors 1994-2004, ICON Architects Board of Directors, 2004-2006, Mr. Sykes also served on the Board of Overseers for Beth Israel Hospital, Children’s Hospital, Boston University Medical Center and Brigham & Women’s Hospital Osher Center.

Mr. Sykes is Managing Director of Accordia Partners, LLC, a Boston based real estate investment and development company. Accordia executes large scale public-private real estate projects with a goal of financial and socially responsible investing success.

Previously, Mr. Sykes was the head of an urban investment, development and redevelopment commercial real estate equity fund for select institutional investors called Urban Strategy America Fund, L.P. The Fund was a true “triple bottom-line fund” focusing on investment returns, economic development and environmental sustainability. Mr. Sykes is responsible for the supervision of the partnership equity placement, the identification of investments and the day-to-day business operations of the USA Fund.

Kirk Sykes combines his professional training and hands-on experience in the areas of finance, investment, development, design and construction to create customized responses to the complex issues of urban real estate development. His approach is grounded in the bottom-line driven perspective gained during his tenure as Chairman of The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and various other for-profit and non-profit board affiliations. Mr. Sykes acts as an Advisor to Basis Investment Group, a commercial real estate debt investment platform, where he provides strategic guidance and input on mezzanine debt and preferred equity investments in connection with construction loans.

Mr. Sykes has been a speaker at Harvard University Business School & Kennedy School of Government, University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, MIT Sloan School of Management and Center for Real Estate, Cornell University Real Estate Program and The League of Historical Cities of the World Conferences in Japan, Turkey and Australia.

Mr. Sykes attended the Harvard University Business School, Owners and Presidents Management Program, the MIT Center for Real Estate Development Commercial Development Executive Program and the L’Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, France. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University.

Richard Galvin is Co-Managing Partner of Accordia Partners and the President and Founder of CV Properties, LLC, a Boston-based real estate development and investment firm. Mr. Galvin has over 30 years of experience in acquiring, developing, and managing commercial real estate throughout the United States. Dick has developed and acquired more than 4.5 million square feet of office and residential projects valued at $2.5 billion.

Dick started his career at Trammell Crow Company in 1984, one of the largest real estate development companies in the world. He spent the first eight years of his career in Boston, eventually becoming a Partner in the Boston office, where he was involved in the development of over 2.5 million square feet of office and research & development space. He then moved to Stamford, Connecticut in 1992 to help found the Corporate Services business of Trammell Crow Company (TCC). Mr. Galvin was instrumental in growing that business into one of Trammell Crow Company’s largest subsidiaries. Now known as Global Workplace Solutions (GWS), CBRE acquired TCC in 2006 and now GWS is a $3 billion business.

Mr. Galvin left Trammell Crow Company in early 1999 to co-found NeXcomm Capital Partners, whose primary focus was the acquisition and development of technology related office buildings. NeXcomm and its partners acquired and/or developed such signature projects as the Dallas InfoMart, a 1,200,000 SF building and the Los Angeles InfoMart, a 475,000 SF historic renovation of the former US Post Office building in downtown LA.

Mr. Galvin founded CV Properties in 2003 to focus on development activities in New England. Signature development projects include the GTECH corporate headquarters in downtown Providence, RI, the renovation of the former Verizon building located in Post Office Square in downtown Boston, now the headquarters for Brown Brothers Harriman, a new 500,000SF state of the art building for State Street Bank at One Channel Center in Boston and the recently opened Aloft and Element hotels in Boston’s Seaport, the largest hotel project in New England in the last 10 years.

Mr. Galvin received his BA in Economics from Brown University, and was inducted into its Sports Hall of Fame in 2002. He is formerly Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Fairfield Wakeman Boys and Girls Club, is on the Board of the Providence Foundation, A Better City, NAIOP, the Laboure Center in Boston, and served as Honorary Chair of the 2014 Renaissance Charter School Gala. Recent awards for Mr. Galvin and CV Properties include received the Developer of the Year Award for 2012, by the Commercial Brokers Association of Boston, Boston Business Journal project of the year in 2012, was inducted, along with CV Properties into the Massachusetts Building Congress Hall of Fame, and won the UMass Boston’s Chancellor’s Medal in 2016.

In August 2019, NAIOP announced that Mr. Galvin would be honored with this year’s Edward H. Linde Public Service Award for his pioneering and impactful efforts to increase diversity in the CRE industry. In October 2019, Mr. Galvin was awarded the 2019 Richard H. Driehaus Foundation National Preservation Award for South Street Landing, an adaptive reuse complex in Providence, Rhode Island. The award recognizes the best historic preservation projects to be completed in recent years.

President Jordan Warshaw is a 25-year industry veteran. He began his career as a real estate and zoning attorney and spent the next 15 years working at Boston real estate firms The Druker Company and The Davis Companies prior to founding Noannet in 2011. Mr. Warshaw is a current or past board member of The Winsor School, Boston Center for the Arts, Stop Handgun Violence, Topf Center for Dance Education, Voice of Reason and Westwood Girls’ Softball, is the Chair of Winsor’s Facilities Committee, a member of the Roxbury Latin Alumni Leadership Giving Council, and has coached more youth soccer, softball and baseball teams than he can count. He is a member of various real estate-related professional organizations, and has been a speaker on multiple occasions for NAIOP, REFA and Bisnow.

Mr. Warshaw is a graduate of The Roxbury Latin School, Yale University, and the University of Virginia School of Law. While not in the office, he can usually be found either on the sidelines of one of his three children’s games, mountain biking through Noannet Woodlands with his faithful golden retriever Lollipop, hiking around Noannet Pond with his wife Nicole, or banging away on his drum kit.
