Erin Orpik is the Vice President of commercial assets at Related Beal. Overseeing the Life Science portfolio, Ms. Orpik works with teams to develop and execute strategic business plans by maximizing performance, profitability and return on investment. She has worked in all phases of development including zoning, due diligence, acquisitions, capital projects, leasing, and ongoing operations. Throughout her 15 years at Related Beal, Ms. Orpik has worked closely with tenants to provide exceptional service and ensure operational objectives are met. Her expertise in the Life Science industry provides a seamless process for lab conversions and technical infrastructure upgrades in buildings such as 451 D Street, 27 Drydock, the Innovation & Design Building, One Kendall Square, and Ledgemont Technology Center. Ms. Orpik is an active member of BOMA, CREW Boston and NAIOP Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Roanoke College.

Andrew Krenning is the associate managing director of the Boston office. He oversees local employees, monitors the office’s financial performance, and spearheads business development. Before joining Syska, Krenning spent 15 years at Siemens Industry, Inc., rising from the position of design engineer to solutions sales manager – construction. In the latter position he led a team of construction sales professionals, estimators, business development executives, and pre-construction project experts for the Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island market. A resident of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, Mr. Krenning earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University. He is a certified project management professional (PMP) and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), New England Healthcare Engineers’ Society (NEHES), the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE), and the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL).

Connor leads a group of local and regional experts dedicated to all aspects of Life Sciences. He is experienced in complicated, specialized uses, focused on advising Life Science users and developers in complex office, R&D and cGMP requirements. Connor’s holistic and detailed approach have enabled he and his team to work with many of the areas fast growing startup companies as well as some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. His attention to detail and extensive knowledge of the Life Sciences space allows him to provide advisory services to both small scale firms and global pharmaceutical companies. Connor and his team leverage this varied and extensive experience to their client’s benefit. Connor was the lead advisor on Takeda Pharmaceutical’s 600,000 square feet of R&D and office space to be built at 585 Kendall Street in Kendall Square. The new space will feature modern design, upgraded technology and support Takeda’s efforts to redefine their future of work. The Takeda transaction was the second largest life sciences deal in Cambridge history and the largest in the BioMed/Blackstone Life Science portfolio. Connor is a consistent top producer at the firm and is known for his life sciences expertise, which has led to multiple panels and thought leadership opportunities, both internally and externally.

Gene Hartigan is the Founder and Chairman for AfriMed Network, Inc., A Massachusetts- registered charity certified by the U. S. Treasury as a 501C3 nonprofit, established in 2018. ( www.afrimednetwork.org), is a certified Medical NGO in the Ivory Coast expanding medical care in the Ivory Coast (Cote d'Ivoire) Mr. Hartigan serves as a Board Member for the Shanghai Boston Enterprise Park, working with the Shanghai Technology Park, operating a 130,000 sq ft site in Marlborough, Ma. to bring US and Chinese business together for joint venture in the state. During the pandemic, Mr. Hartigan worked with Governor Baker, Jonathan Kraft and the Chinese Consulate in New York to fly the New England Patriots aircraft into China to retrieve medical masks. From 2001 to 2020, Gene Hartigan served as US Media and Government Relations Consultant, for COSCO Shipping, China’s largest ocean shipping carrier; helping negotiate the successful contract between COSCO Shipping and the Massachusetts Port Authority. and coordinated the Advance Team for the December 2004 visit to the Port by then Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao. From 2005-2006,Mr. Hartigan served as the North American Senior Advisor for HNA Group/Hainan Airlines, China’s largest privately owned airline, helping establish regular non-stop service to Seattle from Beijing and then from Beijing and Shanghai to Boston. Mr. Hartigan was a Senior Advisor to the Beijing Municipal Government’s Education Commission. In 2009, Mr. Hartigan was awarded the first Beijing Education International Cooperation Award by the Beijing Education Commission. Mr. Hartigan was an appointee to the Governor’s Massachusetts Commission on Asian American Affairs by then Governor Mitt Romney and was appointed by the Massachusetts Senate President to the Massachusetts Asian American Commission. In 1999, he helped orchestrate with the Province of Nova Scotia the opening of a major call- centre operation for Staples, Incorporated in Halifax and Stream International in Northern Nova Scotia, creating over 2,000 new jobs. The Halifax site remains a top site for Staples. Other Nova Scotia projects included CCL Group/Corporatel, then Eastern Canada’s largest advertising and research firm; Fairwyn Development/Nova Learning, one of largest design-build construction firms in the Maritimes; and Cyberplex, Halifax-based technology company serving many of the Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Hartigan was for two years a member of the Nova Scotia Sounding Board established to assist in provincial development. In both 1984 and 1992, Gene Hartigan served as Executive Director of the Massachusetts Republican Party, working on the Campaigns of Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush. During the 80s, Mr. Hartigan, a Vietnam Veteran, was a radio investigative reporter. His awards include those from the Associated Press, United Press International, Radio and TV News Directors and The National Headliner's Award. He also was a correspondent for CBS Radio providing ongoing coverage from Boston as well as reports from Canada and Europe. As Managing Principal of Griffith Properties, Marci oversees all of the firm’s activities including fundraising, investments and executing the strategies for Griffith Properties Funds. She brings 32 years of experience in principal investing, disposition, valuation and brokerage involving over 525 transactions representing $26 billion of assets. Since 2010, Marci has been operating Griffith Properties as a Women-owned enterprise. From 1993 to 2009 Marci was an investment sales broker, most recently with Cushman & Wakefield and formerly with Fallon Hines & O’Connor/Trammell Crow Company. In the course of her 18-year Brokerage career Marci closed over 500 investment sales transactions totaling in excess of $25.0 billion and was named by Real Estate Forum as one of the country’s “Superstar” investment sales brokers in three consecutive years. While a Principal at TCC, Marci was ranked among the Top 3 Producers nationwide from 1998 through 2000. She was member of the team recognized by the GBREB’s Commercial Leasing and Investment Committee for closing “The Investment Sales Deal of the Year” multiple times: 1994 (for the $64.6 million Latham Farms Power Center sale in Albany, NY); 1995 (for the $163 million sale of Bay Colony Corporate Center in Waltham, MA); 1996 (for the $91 million Druker 1031 Exchange in Boston); 1999 (for the $403 million MGI New England Portfolios) and 2006 (for the $600 million Technology Square transaction). Dave joined Camber Development in March 2021 as Managing Partner. Dave brings extensive institutional real estate investment and management experience to Camber, having spent the last nine years at Tishman Speyer. Prior to joining Camber, Dave served as Managing Director - Head of Boston Leasing, Asset Management, and Property Management for Tishman Speyer, a global vertically integrated real estate development and management firm. In his time at Tishman Speyer, Dave was responsible for managing all aspects of the firm’s 3.1 million square foot office portfolio in Boston. In addition, he was responsible for the two-phase Pier 4 development, a 600,000 square foot mixed-use office and residential project in Boston’s Seaport District. In total, Dave was directly responsible for managing approximately $3.0 billion in trophy real estate in Boston. Dave served a critical role in helping establish Breakthrough Properties (Tishman Speyer’s life science venture) by securing a full-building lease with CRISPR Therapeutics at 105 West First Street in South Boston, which earned the 2020 Commercial Brokers Association Life Science Deal of the Year award. Dave began his career working in acquisitions at Beacon Capital Partners. Dave has served as a board member of the Greenway Conservancy, as the Vice Chair of the Greenway BID (which he helped establish), and as President of the 100 Acres Association. He currently serves as a member of the North Shore Regional Advisory Board for United Way. Dave holds a BA in mathematics and economics from Wesleyan University. He lives on the north shore of Boston with his wife and two children, where he can be found golfing, skiing, or relaxing on the beach.

Andrew joined King Street in 2022 with 10+ years of development management experience. As a Senior Associate, he is responsible for all stages of real estate development projects, including design, permitting, marketing, leasing, and construction. He holds a B.S. in Real Estate & Construction Management from the University of Denver.

Parker Snyder is a design-build construction professional with more than 20 years of experience providing clients with best-in-class solutions for facilities throughout New England. As Director of Business Development for ARCO National Construction – New England, Parker is involved in projects from concept to completion, working with clients throughout the preconstruction, design, and construction phases of a job. Specializing in industrial facilities, Parker works with developers and end-users on build-to-suit and speculative developments. His knowledge and expertise help clients achieve developments that meet the specialized needs of users across thriving industries in New England such as life science, e-commerce, and cold storage. He also works with developers on traditional speculative builds with well-informed upgrades for maximum flexibility, decreased time on retrofit, and marketability to a broad range of clientele. Additionally, Parker and the ARCO team utilize an integrated design-build approach which consistently results in the most functional solutions, tremendous time savings, and helps clients overcome current market challenges. Parker received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Arts degree from Central European University.

As Chief Creative Officer, Rodrigo oversees the creative, strategy, and design teams. He has a deep passion for architecture and storytelling. He is skilled in active listening, empowering staff, and big-picture thinking. Rodrigo is excellent at driving in-person and remote group discussions, and collaborates well with remote and distributed teams. Abigail is an Associate Principal at HGA. She has designed R&D and manufacturing facilities for industry-leading clients such as Gilead Sciences and Stanford University as well as life science core & shell projects, turn-key spec suites and lab conversions for developer clients. She understands the overlapping forces of tenant requirements, developer deal metrics, and community needs. Abigail’s specialty is marrying detailed planning and programming, with bold design thinking, and rigorous execution. She holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Michigan. In her free time, she serves on the Planning Board in Watertown and chases two lively toddlers around playgrounds throughout the Boston metro area.

As Vice President of Science + Technology at Columbia, Bill leads with a proactive mindset, a deep understanding of client needs, and a thoughtful and informed approach to construction. With more than 30 years of experience in chemistry, architecture, and construction, Bill understands the distinct elements involved in successful Science + Technology construction. He is highly technical and creative and works with project partners to develop strategies to elevate outcomes while adhering to budgets and deadlines. Dan is a veteran political and strategic communications strategist with more than 25 years of experience. He has worked in both the public and private sectors in communications, politics and government affairs, bringing savvy and a good-natured attitude to client work and his leadership of the firm. Dan’s sweet spot is aligning complex issue projects with goals that can be achieved only through skillfully messaged and coordinated, multi-channel campaigns. He has a proven ability to tap into grassroots and grasstops, from City Hall to the State House to Washington D.C. and beyond. Dan was senior strategist for five U.S. House campaigns, three U.S. Senate campaigns, and multiple gubernatorial races. He has served as Massachusetts press secretary for the Democratic nominees in three presidential elections: President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012, and Hillary Clinton in 2016. He is often tapped to serve as a lead campaign spokesman in the media. Dan founded and managed two successful political consulting and government affairs firms, where he represented a wide array of clients including Congresswoman Katherine Clark, New Balance, Suffolk Downs, and Microsoft. Dan serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profit Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County, which works to raise funds and awareness for children and families dealing with violent and sexual offenses committed against their loved ones.
